Orcleous knew something was going to go down. He could feel it in his blood. Things were way to quite. Him and Yorick began to talk to kill the silence and uplift the mood, but all that did was dull the threat sensation in the back of his head. Arrows emerged from the wounds and found a nice place in Yorick's armor. Orlcoeus also received a few of the little flying sticks, but he managed to deflect one with his sword. The other three hit his plat armor, it knocked the wind out of him, but he was alive. As Orcleous took a step back he noticed that a bit of panic was erupting into some of the men. A lot of them thought they were home free, but now they were suddenly assaulted by bonewalkers. Their moral was broken, and the volley of arrows had sent a few of them to the underworld.
"Rally up", shouted Orcleous as he drew Luxcalibur from his belt. The Champion turned around to see the creatures preparing another volley of arrows. Quickly he grabbed the shield of a dead guy and used it to block the incoming projectiles. The Champion watched as the soldiers followed his example. After the battle with the spiders they had learned to trust Orcleous. He knew what he was doing when it came to fighting monsters, and thought Bonewalkers fought like humans they were still beast. However that did not change the fact that they were being attacked at this moment. Orcleous needed to counter attack. At the moment they were ok, since they knew the direction of the bonewalkers and could block there arrows with their shields, but what if more came, or worse if some of them had their flank. Orcleous did not want to think about the slaughter that would occur if the Bonewalkers surrounded them.
"Return to ash", shouted Orcleous as he swung his holy blade. The light from the sword leaped off and shoot forward like a dart toward one of the creatures. The bonewalkers raised as shield in its defense, but the holy light seemed to pierce straight though the wood and instantly set the creature on fire. However these were not normal flames. The flames were white, and lacked the red and gold color you would see in a campfire. They also did not have the heat one would expect from such a flame. The best way to describe them would be holy. Orcleous and others watched as the creature was enveloped into white fire and seemed to crumble into nothing. The very action caused even the bonewalkers to pause as they began to access the situation. Immediately two of them turned their bows toward the champion and began to fire with new aggression.
"That got their attention", spoke Orcleous as he rushed toward the other side of the battlefield. He held his shield up in defense and used his legs to charge. With the enemy focusing on him for a moment it allowed the others to do some good work. So Orcleous decided to keep them busy by moving side to side rather than a full frontal charge.
