"Crimson... yeah, I like that better. I can see why Althea likes you now! Aura, right?" Grinning at the false priest, Ereshkigal swept around and walked, not quite Althea's normal movement as something slightly more sweeping that looked slightly different, until she stood before Drei who had at least answered her with a lovely nod and some drool. And his name, but mostly the first two. Damn, he was messed up. She was no expert on human injuries but they definitely looked like injuries, and probably even painful. "Alright, hold still and try not to laugh." Ha ha, get it, because it only hurts when you - yeah anyways. DAMMIT this would be a good time for Althea to wake up and start being useful but the damn woman was still napping. It... did occur to Ereshkigal that she had no idea how to turn herself off. Maybe if she hit her head hard enough?
She took a deep breath nonetheless, trying to center herself and go full Zen and all that other crap that mountain sage-fu lady had preached, and knelt down, feeling a little bit uncomfortable with the bare dirt staining her clothing but rationalizing it as necessary for the time being, and brought her hands up to... try... to start healing. Couldn't be that hard right? A burst of brilliant rainbow sparkles popped into existence and sprinkled to the ground uselessly as the minor detonation of healing magic overloaded itself. Okay, ok, so you CAN'T overload it that much. Good to know. "Eh, live and learn. Now hold still. This won't hurt a bit." Thankfully the second attempt did go... somewhat better, though the flow of healing magic was about as smooth and undulating as a spiked mace and half as exciting on her end. NOT her favorite way to spend an afternoon.
-Especially not since she was still feeling weird about not actually getting to DO much here. The guy Althea had wanted to fight had pussied out immediately and now it was just these two knuckleheads that she didn't know anything about, but knew Althea, which meant she was supposed to care. Or at least be nice to them, anyways, Althea would be super salty if she didn't. That didn't mean she had to agree with them, though, or everything they did. And while she was quite capable of keeping herself from blowing them up, she didn't have to like it. "Oh, and Aura?" Turning her head towards the white haired priest, she smiled sweetly. "NEVER tell me what to do again." There was the promise of death in her words, at odds with her gentle expression.

Drei's gaze harmlessly followed the initial failed spark of magic. As if he was watching someone prepare to throw a stone and leaned back for some mighty throw, only to fall short with a gloriously pathetic pebble toss. He wasn't in much of a state to protest though, and found her words for some reason bringing a dark chuckle to him. It came out as a slight gurgle though, from the small pool of blood congealing in his throat. Which...was horrific to experience. It was like a lump in the throat when waking to a dry throat, except it was blood. His blood. Boy if that didn't put things into perspective. The ashen haired male wished more than ever he could just roll over, expel all the blood in a mighty heave and purge himself of not only the awkward sensation but at this point a fairly undignified situation. If he'd had the luxury of being embarrassed or mortified he..definitely would. He was more concerned with survival at the current.
The sudden surge of magic was almost like an explosive burst of mending spells. Having never really experienced healing staves while more conscious than not, Drei was legitimately fascinated to see and experience the most curious effects. The shaman had not been exposed to healing much. Slowly extending a hand as his throat began to mend and wounds lessen, he was able to feel the flesh knitting and damage gradually being undone. Which...was good and bad. Good news, he could feel his body becoming a bit more flush and full of warmth. Though that might've been the magic as well. Bad news, he felt more of the pain now as he slipped further and further from shock. He could move his arms, but it was still agonizing. However Drei was able, now, to roll over onto his side briefly to avert himself from Althea.
With his lips only a few inches from the ground, he coughed once and a splatter broke the punctuated silence as Aura was reprimanded. A small splotch of blood coated the ground as his shoulders shook and he began to cough two more times. His throat purging itself of the blood welling up. His right arm bent at the elbow and propped to keep him from laying on his stomach, Drei lifted his head and wiped the crimson trail of blood from his lips with his left sleeve before grunting painfully and rolling back to his side to return to his sitting position in-front of the pale haired female. Now he could speak, without the broken speech but could also still feel a particularly unpleasant burning sensation in his throat when doing such.
"Is Althea okay?"
Perhaps his first and foremost concern. Who ever this "not Althea" person was, they would no doubt have an inkling of knowledge as to her condition. He paused after a moment. Remembering basic kindnesses and turned to gaze directly at the crimson eyed female.
"And thank you...for healing me."

Aura watched in awe at the potency of the healing magic Althea was suddenly pouring forth. His own ability was little more than a faint green aura that he could command to handle minor hurts or ease the pain of greater wounds, but this was an explosion of color and she was rapidly repairing damage that could have had lasting consequences. In a way he found himself jealous of her ability, he was the one that helped her pick out a staff and get started after all. Though, this was not Althea as he understood her to be, even at her most rude and crass.
Her words of reprimanding sent a chill through Aura. It was the kind that created a sinking knot in ones gut. Was this how it was for a mouse to stare down the farmer's cat? He felt suddenly hollow, he hardly knew Drei and it would appear he did not know Althea either. It was a sudden feeling of utter isolation in this moment like everything he knew was torn away from him. He tried to muster the ability to speak but he could only stare at Althea, a mix of struck fear and indignation taking root. He had never told her anything beyond reason, he had pleaded with her. How dare she, whoever it is that is speaking. Had Althea hidden all of this from him all this time? What was with Drei? Was he taking this in stride or had he already known? He felt guilty for being upset, but he was so confused, and he was so forthcoming with his own darkness.
Aura just remained silent on his knees clutching his chest averting the gazes of the others. He needed to make sense of this, he needed time, but there was no such opportunity.

Something flitted across Ereshkigal's face as she looked back to Drei in the wake of his question. Not anger, or hatred, or a burning desire to destroy all life. Just... she didn't know what. A mix of emotions. It was understandable that he was worried about his friend. So was Aura. It was just a... reminder that she wasn't anyone to these people. Althea's friends weren't hers, though at least they weren't trying to kill her. Little lonely. But at the same time, his question was the same she would have asked in reversed positions, and so she didn't feel quite as alone in that moment considering how much their goals aligned even if he didn't realize it. A sort of ironic amusement. Finally settling on a quirked smile, not quite able to make it look totally happy but honest enough in its uncertainty, she regarded him for a moment before deciding on an answer. "...Yes. She will return in time when she reawakens. For now, however, you are stuck with me.
Okay, so this wasn't all how she had seen this going, but then again she hadn't ever wanted to see the inside of that stupid book again in the first place. Or at least she thought so. Ereshkigal was forced to face the fact that she didn't actually know. HAD there been another way to save Althea? Had she truly seized upon this as the best possible solution - or was it some repressed urge to be real once more that had possessed her? She... honestly didn't know exactly what she had done, and what thee repercussions might be. If she had indeed hurt Althea with this... no, she couldn't be weak, not now. She had hurt enough people with her inaction. So what if this had or hadn't been the perfect solution? She had DONE something here. Acted, and used her power to protect the person close to her, and the people close to Althea. Even if it wasn't exactly a storybook ending or perfectly well thought out, it was far better than cowering away in someone's consciousness, shirking all responsibility for their actions and the results of those actions.
"Though it will take me time to attempt to heal you and... stabilize the spacial coordinates of this area," she said somewhat hesitatingly - not because Ereshkigal didn't know how to do that, but because that wording was 100% Althea and not something she would have ever said in her entire life. It made her feel a little uncomfortable for reasons she could not explain. "So I would recommend getting comfortable." Hey, a joke a day kept the doctor away. Turning back to Aura she regretted her earlier outburst slightly, even if his sanctimonious preaching still rankled her. Best not to piss off one of Althea's friends too much. She didn't wish him harm, anyways. They had just... gotten off to a really bad start. "Aura. You are free to leave if you wish. Your friend will be returned to you in the near future. And... I wish you safe travels."

Everything was wrong, he knew that, none of it made sense to him, and he had wanted to leave. But whoever this other Althea was, he needed to learn, and at the end of the day it was still Althea. He found himself simply sighing and adjusting himself trying to get comfortable. She must have taken full notice of how he had felt and reacted, he felt guilty for it. Drei certainly had taken it all in a much grander stride than he. She gave him her permission to leave if he so chose. Was it a permission or a demand? He did not fully know but decided it was just a nicety.
When she told him that his friend would be returned in the future it was a statement that seemed to strike with a double meaning. The guilt continued to build until Aura could not stand it. "Forgive me." He uttered. "I brought the both of you to such a dangerous meeting, and the damages that have been done are far too great for me to make amends. Drei..." Just looking at the druid made his own body ache more, he had suffered the worst of it. "Please hang in there." It was so little he could offer as other Althea worked. But he never did begin to know him, and if he passed he never would.
To the other Althea, "And... I may not understand what is happening or who you are, but you saved us. You are a part of Althea, to whatever extent that means, and I count her among my friends, so please, allow me to count you as well, and I am sorry for how I originally acted. I was scared." He still was, but somehow the idea of leaving on these terms struck him as an unpleasant end to everything and he was loath to let that be. he was already on the ground, so it made it easier but he bowed in apology to the both of them. "I am as much at fault for what has happened to us as the villains themselves. Please, forgive me." Maybe it was not the time, he fully expected to be brushed off due to the more pressing injuries of Drei's but he had to speak his mind. He wanted to aid in the healing but he knew he was too drained and would only get in the way.

It wasn't that he was choosing to ignore Aura. However Drei also realized that the mystery concerning Althea was a far more unique and potentially severe focus. What had she called herself? Ereshkigal? Drei didn't want to talk too much simply because that burning murder feeling in his throat hadn't gone away. Though he'd gained the ability to speak, he was not quite out of the woods yet it seemed. However EreshkigAlthea was willing to sit it out for the long term, and he was still grateful for that. Rolling back over fully, and getting back to a point he'd been similar to when she began healing him, the Sacaen shaman made himself a tad more comfortable. Probably the only perk to his large heavy robe at this point was the comfort it gave to hard surfaces. Like a giant purple rug that was starting to acquire far more crimson stains than he'd have liked. Maybe if they'd been someone elses blood he might've minded less but when it was his blood staining th- Oh yes right, white haired mystery murder girl was his focus.
At that moment a question dawned on him. Amber gaze drifted back to those eerie burning crimson hued eyes. At-least it was a tad different from the singular trait uniting them of white hair. Now they both had strange eyes. Maybe his were just strange in combination with his complexion and hair though? A wheeze like cough left his lips before Drei straightened quietly and looked to his healer with a bit more curiosity. At this point just focusing on not overdoing his speech. "You said Althea was unharmed. She's okay. Are you?" She'd used alot of magic. Her body was clearly still like Althea's. Did she suffer the strain from her exertions? He couldn't imagine replicating the caliber of what she did and suffering from nothing, but then again at this point he was entirely in the dark on what to expect and for all he knew all prior regulation/expectation/magical theory went out the window.

Ereshkigal tilted her head, still focusing on Drei but signaling that she was at least listening to Aura's statements. It was a bit amusing. He talked a lot, and Drei apparently talked in monosyllables. Maybe because he was really messed up, she shouldn't read too far into it, but the disparity was interesting. And so was Aura's... different tone. Without access to Althea's full memories she didn't know the full story with him, how he acted normally, and had only had the few moments of him so far in the last few minutes to judge from. Which, frankly, hadn't gone over that well. He seemed contrite to at least some degree now though, and a lot less preachy, which she could, ah, handle a lot better. People trying to tell her what to do had been an unwelcome fixture of life a long time ago, in another world, and she had not exactly wanted to return to life on Elibe with the exact same theme of people trying to use her for their own ends.
"...I don't know most of what happened here," she stated simply, "but Althea has a wonderful ability to get herself into trouble anyways. If she was willing to fight for you, well, perhaps we just got off to a bad start." She'd never been much of an orator or leader, at least as she saw it, and that was BEFORE she lost a good seventy percent of her power and personality alike. Right now she was still trying to remember most of the details of what little she had managed to recover. Ereshkigal couldn't think of much else to say, she she left it at that, not the most eloquent and absolute of responses but honest enough.
She was similarly uncertain to respond to Drei's question as he calmed down in the wake of worrying for Althea - the priority - the one who mattered. But it was nice to at least be the runner up in a two woman race. Unconsciously bringing her hand to the pulsing crimson scar that had spread across her left cheek, she regarded him mutely for a few moments before a sideways smile crept to her lips. "...Pain and I are old friends. I believe I minimized the damage to my... her..." a momentary pause, "-our body, and it is better I bear the immediate consequences than she." Ereshkigal chuckled as the humor of the situation struck her, her tone lapsing its regal tone again for a moment. "Besides. You don't know how long it's been since I actually got to experience real sensation. Being able to feel again is, literally, a dream come true. Even if everything hurts like crap. Now settle in, this healing stuff is gonna take a while."
