Name: Levante
Class: Taguel-Bird
Dragon Element:
Age: 30
Born in: Foxaoss Forest
Appearance: In a word: Sleek.
As a crow Taguel, Levante is the epitome of contrast. Hair as black as night, pulled back into a somewhat messy tail, held by a golden clasp. Clear blue eyes that change in hue depending on emotion and which part of the act he's up to.
His clothing is what passes for vaguely elegant, especially in this part of the world. White shirt, somewhat loose dark robe over the top. Crow black wings sprouting from his shoulders are the main indicator that he is no ordinary person, though if one looks at his hair close enough, they would see that it resembles feathers to a degree.
An array of belt pouches and a satchel bag complete his ensemble. His oft consulted journal is never far from his grasp, the unassuming, slightly worn leather bound book is constantly being referred to. The pouches have an array of shiny things, pleasing to the eye - another indication of his crow like nature.
Personality: While these days, one expects a bard to be noisy and attention seeking, Levante is more of the scholarly type. Quiet and studious most of the time, one can see him come to life when in the midst of a rousing tale for those who seek to listen.
Quiet doesn't mean he can't read a crowd, as his observant nature leads to many small things not escaping his keen glance. While normally keeping to himself, when his playful side can be awoken with a little effort.
Dedicated to his family, like all Taguel, one will find him a reliable ally, but arouse his ire and you will soon find yourself scorned and ignored with all of the quiet dignity and composure that only a bird Taguel possesses.
History: Like many of his kind, Levante has a penchant for collecting. His particular passion was instilled from a young age, where if you couldn't find him buried in a book, you would find him at the knee of whichever person he had coerced into telling him a story on that day.
This would grow into something of an obsession, a driving force, his raison d'être - to seek out stories like a bird possessed. The collection of such knowledge soon translated into bardic pursuits, for only by wandering can one find new stories to add to an ever growing collection.
His interest in knowledge, books and stories also blossomed into a not minor talent for magic - skills not just used for combat, but to enhance story telling for dramatic effect.
NPC fight: Like any bird, air his both friend and foe. Utilizing both magic and muscle, Levante fights with a somewhat cobbled together style, somewhat reminiscent of air bending, but with more punching.
He is more inclined to use wind as his primary, but given Trinity's access to both fire and lightning, they will see occasional use.
Wind being his main element, he uses it as the core of technique. Magical wind amplifies his punches and kicks to a degree, such as using an axe kick with both leg muscles and wind for greater impact. It would also see utilization in a mis-directional capacity, such as using it to reduce the swinging speed of melee weapons or to redirect arrows to a degree. Against other mages, it would be used more to move clothing about to break concentration or trip them up. Also has potential to form blades of air with enough practice - think Guile and his Sonic Boom.
Lightning would see use as more of enhancement to direct hits - static charge in the hands to give a nasty jolt, that kind of thing.
PC fight: People are different to monsters. Levante would be more inclined to disarm or disable other human foes, and thus would concentrate on stunning or tying up human foes over damaging them/leaving lasting injury.
Would utilize distance and flying where possible - being a Taguel means its harder to read people over monsters, so he would be more inclined to be wary.
