Oh? Oh dear, how did Bell end up here. One moment she was at home, drowsily reading a book about Vinland. And the next she was here. Stranded on a tropical island, full of sand, surf, and skin. Lot's of skin! She found herself staring at a few other folks who were wandering around the beach area in nothing more then a few bits of cloth. A woman with red hair managed to flag her down and guide her towards a sort of reception area. The red headed woman must have seen the confusion on Bell's face and explained what was going on. This place, existed in another world. A world of permanent summer. An ancient god created this world as a means to provide rest and relaxation for the weary. When she questioned the woman about the people she saw, those dressed in small clothes. The red headed woman explained that those people were wearing what were called swimsuits. And that there were many different styles, some modest and others not so modest. There was a building next to the reception area that essentially sold swimsuits and other beach gear.
The red headed woman also explained that people who arrive here, eventually return to their own world after a certain amount of time. So it was best to enjoy what time they had here while they could. She also explained that there were staff that roamed around, they wore a sort of short sleeve shirt with a logo of pine trees on their lapels. And often white or tan shorts. They cater to each guest's whim and appeared when summoned or needed. The red headed woman then casually guided Belinda towards the building where she could acquire a swimsuit. She was strongly urged to just roll with it and have fun.
When Belinda entered the other building, she was met with a cool refreshing breeze. One of the aforementioned staff approached her and guided her around the shop. Belinda could see all manner of things for sale. Nautical items like miniature sailboats, anchors, shells, and strange tubes that said lifesaver on them. Belinda had to stop the staff woman for a moment and explain to her that she could not purchase things, since she came here through a dream. The staff woman chuckled a bit. She explained that the creator of this world foresaw that and made sure anyone that came to this world would have an unlimited amount of funds. Belinda found that difficult to understand but, she tapped her pocket and sure enough she could hear the jingling of money.
The shaman shrugged and decided to take the red headed woman's advice and just go with the insanity of this world. The staff woman along with a few others helped to pick out a nice swimsuit for her to use. She ultimately settled on two piece suit. The top was white with a multicolored floral pattern. The flowers resembled the flowers that were found in the various garden's outside. Hibiscus if she recalled correctly. The top was held to her body by a knot of fabric that was on the back of her neck. She went with the more 'sporty' of the available tops. It covered most of her chest, but it left a diamond shaped hole on her back. She had a set of bottoms that were black and resembled shorts. Very short shorts. They guided her towards a large indoor bathing and changing room. She was given items and help in order to deal with things like hair. She was unaccustomed to wearing something that was so revealing. The clothes highlighted all of the more womanly assets of her body. And she didn't quite like how the fabric seemed to cling so tightly towards her body. But after being assured that she looked amazing in it and that this reaction was perfectly normal for a first timer. She went ahead and purchased the swimsuit, sandals, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a large straw hat with a black ribbon tied to it. She also purchased a traveler's book that was on one of the many racks that dotted the store. The book highlighted all of the activities that were available towards the guests of this world.
And with that, the woman made her way towards the beach. Unsure of what or who she would find in this strange dream world.

Hugo always believed he was prepared for any possible situation. Hell he checked about four times a day to make sure that anything plausible was something he could handle. However Hugo was not prepared for a simple nap to whisk him away to a hot sandy beach where everyone and their mother might as well be in their undergarments. That wasn’t the worst part though no oh no, the worst part was the nearly easily three-hundred pound flying lizard that was not only trying to not touch the sand, but was trying to hide behind the poor Wyvern rider. Somehow even his mind recognized that Revgor was forever to be a part of his life so much that the lizard was even present in his psyche. Maybe it had something to do with imprinting or quite possibly was the work of some innate odd draconian magic either way Hugo would not get the time to think about it any further. Thankfully his thought process was interrupted by a red-haired woman who actually spared him from embarrassing himself by explaining the current situation to him in detail well loose detail, but details nonetheless. Armed with those details only served to confuse the young man even more so after all how the hell did he get here and how the hell did Revgor follow him?
Quickly knocked back into reality by the red-haired woman who chastised him for not listening to someone closely when they were explaining something important to him. He calmly apologized of course as they spoke and walked into a large store filled with knick knacks and other various supplies to properly enjoy one's time here, but more importantly the proper equipment to make sure nothing too dangerous happened to the vacation goers. There were already designated lifeguards who just seemed to be the omni-present staff, but on his pride he wasn’t just going to stick to the sidelines if someone was in need. Armed important to have and he was not just really curious about it. Enraptured in the moment with the infinite funds he was told about Hugo stuck up on juices, water, snacks, tools to catch fish, safety supplies, sunscreen, and some weird black box called a grill surely it was Hugo realized two well-er no three glaring issues. One, How was he to get home? Two, Revgor was following him around the store. Finally Three, He almost forgot to buy a swimsuit.
Deciding it was smart to maybe take Revgor somewhere he might actually be able to enjoy this moment of respite Hugo was brought to a large tropical/jungle like sectioned off ranch for various mounts and the like. Within these gated walls they were all being pampered and enjoying all the space the ancient god had decided to give them. While he knew he needed to stop trying to figure this place out it bothered Hugo too no end to learn that the staff also seemed to fully understand the need of every creature. What he wouldn’t give to be able to actually hold a conversation with any beast after all the perspective of each rider was different and the mounts might tell all the good stories. Revgor however, seemed to be overjoyed, and now having the quote best time ever unquote just enjoying a nice sizable mudhut heated to specific temperature that dispensed cooked salmon. Luxury was such a sweet thing the scaled duo were going to miss luxury so with one problem taken care of and Revgor easily enjoying his time Hugo decided he needed to let go of some apprehension for now at least.
Practicality was one of Hugo’s favorite things after all having a clear defined use of something made it easier for anyone to just pick it up, and possibly do something wonderful with it. Okay, maybe he was romanticizing the idea of practicality a little too much, but hey he had to figure what kind of word was good enough to describe how happy he was with his choice of swimming trunks. Wearing a firm grey colored swimming trunks with red plain line accents going down his legs a truly simple design, but it was comfy and had pockets so he could store some of the snacks he couldn’t fit in the large bag he had filled to the brim with other items. Maybe he was a little bit of a pack rat, but you never know who you might meet on the beach as a matter of fact possibly the person forgot said snacks specifically for the beach. Having fun in the sun burned energy so someone was going to need to help restore it. Hugo couldn’t help noticing some of the stares he got while he mostly just chalked it to the novelty of someone being this over packed for just arriving, however it was quite clear that his athletic pursuits to become a stalwart defender had given him the perfect beach bod. Lightly tanned so as to not easily burn, firm and well built muscle structure otherwise known as abs, the pièce de résistance was the fact that the scars caused from training gave him the rough appearance his always heard about in the stories. Hugo didn’t seem to believe his attractiveness was the reason for the stares so he quickly began to set up his nice relaxing shading area thanks to the famous umbrella chair combo. Putting on the shades he bought and lightly applying lotion to his body Hugo noticed someone who seemed just arrived as well.
She seemed nice enough and just so happened to be someone he missed while he was buying supplies, but now was the time to practice his honed people skills. “So uh... you just arrived here as well? This place draws you in a bit well that's the feeling I'm getting at least. The Sea I mean.” absolutely nailed the introduction Hugo truly a master of conversation was he.

Eqwin was pretty easily surprised, but... This? He would never, in his life, expect this to happen, ever. Here he was, in his training armor, with Thoron. That much he was used to because it was daily life, but the location is what set him off. He didn't know how to describe it. The ground was loose, tan colored, and hot. Everything was hot, now that he thought about it. The trees were strangely tall and thin, and they had umbrella-like leaves at the top. To top it off, their fruits were even weirder. They were big and brown, and looked like a normal tree's bark. He looked the opposite direction, and saw what he could only describe as a big lake that seemed to be constantly moving onto the land, as if it were trying to flood it. He'd be worried about this if it wasn't for the attire people were wearing. The most naked he was used to seeing people was shorts and an undershirt, but it seemed as if everyone here was walking around in their underwear. He very quickly looked back to Thoron's direction and away from the people. He thought about what he was doing. Last thing he could remember was that he finished cleaning and refurnishing Thoron's pen/dedicated half stable, then she went to sleep and he went to sleep using her side as a pillow. Then suddenly he woke up with her, both of them in the exact same positions. How long was he asleep for? He felt perfectly awake, much to his surprise, so maybe 8 hours? He would've continued thinking about this if a woman with red hair didn't sneak up on him.
Before Eqwin could go for the lance he didn't even have with him, the woman started explaining what was happening. According to her, a god had created this world for the sole purpose of letting people enjoy the beach, which was where he was. He remembered hearing about it at a pub while running some errands, but he had forgotten it. He was teased about his face being a bit red and had swimsuits explained to him. And then, last but not least, he was told that their were staff members at this place. He attempted to wrap his head around this place, but apparently the red haired woman could read his mind, and began "strongly suggesting" that he just accept all of this. He gave in and started doing so after a combination of that, the sun, and overworking fried his brain a little bit. The lady then led him to a building where he could purchase a swimsuit of his own. Not wanting to be out of place or breaking some kind of rule, and since he's a pushover, Eqwin got his wallet out of Thoron's... He then realized that Thoron had followed him into the building and felt a bit guilty for not noticing. Thankfully, the lady assured him that it wasn't breaking any rules. He then got his wallet like he originally meant to, and began getting some gold out before he noticed something. He had deposited all of his money in a safe place in his room, along with his wallet. He was incredibly surprised that he actually had money. He began asking about which options were the best for his money when the lady told him that the god she mentioned gave everyone an infinite amount of money while they were there.
"What's the point of having money then? Couldn't you just let people take what the want since it's essentially the same thing?" He asked the lady.
"Don't think about it." She told him. He began doing what she told him and bought some swim trunks that he was sure fit him by this world's standards, they were around the same shade of green as his armor.
"Is there a shirt that matches this?" He asked her.
"You're not meant to wear a shirt with that." She answered, "You can do so if you want, but there's no special shirt." He decided he'd just wear a button up shirt with the trunks.
After some more questions and confusion, Eqwin shed his armor and boots, and put on the trunks and a button shirt in a "dressing room", as the lady called it. He also got some large and shady hats for his horse and himself. Now that he was all set, he led Thoron out of the building, and towards the water. According to some staff, this was the sea, but it felt so much different from the ports of Etruria. He'd visited them once or twice, but they weren't as amazing as this place. He now saw why some god would want to make a realm of permanent this instead of assert dominance over a world or something. He walked into the sea to see how it'd feel on his feet, and led Thoron close behind him. He felt bliss, for a short moment, until he walked too deep and got pinched by a crab.
He screamed and kicked the affected leg up, getting the crab off of him but also startling Thoron. He ran out of the water with alongside Thoron and hurriedly sat down to examine what happened. His foot hurt, that's for sure, but he would get over it according to the staff member that ran to him because of his shout. He stayed sitting down, and got Thoron to lay down too. He saw two people, one a rather muscular and tan man and another a woman in a what he had recently learned is a swimsuit and not underwear. He probably would've seen more of her appearance if he didn't immediately look away in embarrassment. He looked back at the man when he started talking to her. Eqwin was really startled, to say the least. Had he found someone as awkward in conversation as he is? The man seemed different in that he didn't take long pauses, and instead charged through his sentences. He'd just have to keep listening and see if it was just because of the swimsuit woman, who Eqwin looked away from when he remembered she was around three-quarters naked.

“heeheehe” Kayla laughed to herself. “Am I going crazy? I could’ve sworn we were resting near Ilia.” The flier turned to Polly, her mount. “What’s up with all this?” Kayla removed her bandanna from around her mouth and tied it twice around her wrist. She scanned her surroundings, instead of ice, snow and rock, she saw sand trees and water. There were also people. A woman with red hair approached her. The lady reminded her of Lunie, a bit. The lady spoke, but Kayla wasn’t listening. The Pegasus knight shrugged and decided to enjoy the nice parts instead of worrying too much.
Kayla guided her Pegasus toward a shop. A woman with a headband waved them over. She had a sword and demonstrated how to chop the top off a coconut with a single stroke. “Whoa. Very clean.” Kayla leaned her head in to examine the cut. It was indeed very smooth. From what she could tell, not a drop of the water inside was spilled. She leaned back and applauded enthusiastically. The woman performed a bow and offered the coconut to Kayla, who immediately accepted. “Wooow thank you, you’re the greatest.” She held the coconut up to Polly’s muzzle. The Pegasus sniffed it then lapped at the liquid inside. Kayla then took her turn to drink. After a moment she let out a refreshed. “Ahhh.”
Once again, the welcoming woman approached her. This time she spoke with a much harsher tone. She said that there was a specific place for the mounts. A couple of the female staff approached to take the Pegasus away. Seems like they know how to handle pegasi. The women seemed like they didn’t mean to do any harm. Kayla shrugged. “Go ahead Polly.” The redheaded woman continued to speak, saying that she would have to change clothes.
“And what exactly do you mean by that?” Kayla’s clothes were dirty and slightly torn in places, as if she had been on a week long excursion. However, to Kayla, that was just how she liked it. The woman explained that wearing a swimsuit was half the fun of being there. Kayla raised an eyebrow. “Fun huh? Aight I’m in.” It seemed like the woman let out an exasperated sigh and pointed to another store. “That lady must get tired dealing with everyone who comes here all on her own.”
Kayla started shopping but she didn’t really have an eye for this sort of thing. So she had one of the staff members recommend an outfit. She was given a white croptop that fastened around her neck and around her back. She was also given a pair of beige shorts. To top it off, she was given a pair of what she was guaranteed were stylish glasses. They looked somewhat funky, but Kayla was all for that.
The Pegasus knight left the store feeling like a supermodel or something. She even struck a pose or two before laughing it off. Then imagine who she saw. Her one-time boss Belinda was here. Kayla made her way toward the shaman.

"It seems that no matter what world one happens to be in.. the sea permanently has that sort of allure." Belinda replied to the tanned young man's comment. She tried to keep a neutral face. Though she wasn't sure if it was successful underneath her lightly tinted sunglasses. It appeared that he too was a new arrival to this strange and wondrous place. Belinda had no idea who this young man was. If she had to guess, he may hail from Nabata itself, or possibly Lycia. However, this strange dream world attracts visitors from many different worlds and at different points in time... at least that's what the guidebook said. Belinda wasn't quite sure how such a place could act as a way station for so many different variety of souls. Then again.. she came here through a dream.. so maybe all these other people were also dreaming. She did not even know if this young man was of her own Elibe or of a different world all together. She needed to stop thinking about this. Do what the red head said. Just go with it. Relax.
"Is there an ocean like this where you come from?" She decided to make some small talk with this young fellow. She studied him for a moment. Judging by the tone of his voice, body shape, and grooming, Bel had to guess this burgundy headed fellow was a young man. She ball parked his age to be anywhere around 17 to 19. Perhaps in their casual conversation, it would give the other young man with light hair, a chance to jump into the conversation and speak. She didn't know if these two were here together as companions. He didn't look like he was with the tan young man. But, she didn't rule out the possibility. She knew people could be shy around new comers. And the lighter haired boy looked.. like a boy... no a bit older then a boy. A teenager... no more then 14.. maybe even 13 if she had to guess. The poor lad, temporarily stuck in that awkward transition between boy and man. Bel remembered her own her teen years and they were not.. elegant. And if these two lands were together, then it would make sense for the older boy to strike up a conversation first. Perhaps he was teaching confidence towards the other one.. leading by example.. maybe.
She heard footsteps coming up behind her. Concerned that she was in someone's way she turned around for a moment and looked at the figure coming towards her. She knew that purple hair and body shape. And she was pleasantly surprised by it. She wondered what had become of the little Pegasus knight after the festival in Lycia. She gave the lass a wave.

Hugo was actually a little surprised that his blabbering was actually successful in starting up a conversation. Focusing a little more on his fellow newcomer she seemed to be around his age, but seemed to carry herself more like his sister did back when she was extremely focused on her appearance rather than her art. Okay maybe that was a little rude to assume she could be a self-made woman or just come from money and her stunning appearance was just expected. The Auburn orbs that gifted him sight never really seemed to leave her general gazing area mostly because, when you spoke to someone you looked them in the eyes. Not to mention if she was a newcomer like him she was probably just as embarrassed about her attire as he was or at the very least uncomfortable so he wasn’t going to add to any feelings of anxiety. Oh it seemed she wasn’t alone as well since a younger girl seemed to show up behind the purple pixie not long after their discussion begun and they recognized one another. “Well there are beaches, but I never made the journey to see them. The easily accessible ones were too far from home, and the closer ones were a trek through the mountains.” Hugo spoke now with a sense of ease after all this woman didn’t seem like she was the type that was going to judge him for just about anything.
Focusing his gaze on the sea now he noticed a young boy who was just blushing up a storm and kinda just hanging out with a horse on the shore of the ocean. Maybe he didn’t ask about the mount facilities or maybe they just didn’t want a wyvern scaring other patrons which in all honesty was quite fair real. “I have been to more lakes or streams because of those mountains, but they weren’t as shiny. Maybe it has something to do with the sun and how there is nothing blocking it here.” Hugo rationalized kind of forgetting the red headed woman's advice to not think too hard about anything here, but it's not like he was going to think any deeper about it. Fixing the placement of his shades Hugo silently went back to arranging the mass of things he bought into a more organized fashion. Revealing a quite nice subsection of the beach complete with a tarp for shade, a table with snacks, variously sized chairs his being the highest since he wanted to remain vigilant, and of course the grill which he was going to figure out how to use when he had the chance too.
“Would you and your friend like to join me? I kind of bought too many things again and I was going to offer things to passersby anyway. That goes for you too kid just make your way over here if you want anything!” Hugo shouted to the blond boy as he seemed to realize something that caused him to facepalm. “Right where are my manners. My name is Hugo it’s a pleasure to meet you.” finishing said introduction with a small bow due to his conditioning in the Bernese military and as the son of parents who often dealt with nobles.

Eqwin heard another voice with the group he was next to. He turned his head and then immediately turned it back when he found out the third person was yet another woman with a swimsuit. He couldn't tell what the reason for swimsuits was. Was it this? Why would anybody design clothing to do this to people? Is this just a side-effect of the outfit? What kind of thing could a swimsuit do to make being half naked worth it? Swimsuit... Swim suit. It had to do with swimming. Did it somehow boost someone's speed in water? He thought of something. If it weren't for this weird shirt with the buttons up the middle he would be the same amount of naked as the two girls. What could he derive from that? The red head's instructions not to think too hard fell on deaf ears as Eqwin tried to figure out what swimsuits were for. But, thankfully for her orders, the tanned man reached out to him to join the group of three. He gleefully got up with the prospect of making new friends in the paradise that some god had created.
"I-I'd be glad to join your group, if none of you mind." He said, facing the group. He had forgotten about the ladies, immediately looked away again, and he looked away towards Hugo on accident. Good gods he was buff! Was he going to become like that when he became a knight? Oh, right, he also had to introduce himself. He'd look at Hugo while doing so, but that'd be rude to the ladies. He couldn't look too closely at the ladies or he'd turn into a stuttering mess. He had an epiphany. He was training to become a knight, so kneeling and introducing himself would be good practice, not rude, and easily explainable! The last part was important because he felt that not looking at them was also a bit embarrassing. He motioned for Thoron to come to his side and be introduced with him. He knelt down once she had gotten next to him. "I'm Eqwin, a squire of Etruria, and this is Thoron." He said, gesturing to Thoron with an open hand when he told them her name. He got up and thought for a bit. He seemed to really calm down with such a formal greeting, which was good. He outstretched his right hand to Hugo. "It's nice to meet you, Sir Hugo." He said. He immediately regretted this. The ladies would expect a handshake too, right? He didn't want to be rude and just decline to shake their hands as well. He searched his mind for an excuse but came with another stroke of brilliance. "I just realized what swimsuits are for!" He said, turning his head to the ladies, then immediately back to Hugo. The knowledge didn't make him any less embarrassed. "They uh... They're made to uh, cover only the important bits to.. to uh..." It was way more awkward to say out loud. "to make it feel... a-as close as.. as possible to.. um... bathing..." He finally said, looking to the sea. It'd probably look like his entire face was bleeding from far away. He hoped to get greetings done with quickly so he could retreat from this for a little bit and clear his head.

When Belinda waved her over, Kayla happily approached. “Looks like you caught me, I was thinking about sneaking up on you.” The Pegasus knight smirked. Everything surreal through her tinted glasses. “How have you been? You're looking good." The pegasus knight raised her eyebrows a couple times in a playful manner. "Are ya still sailing and reading and whatnot?” She listened to the response before letting her eyes wanted over to the young man that Belinda had been talking to.
He invited them to stay and share the space. Kayla wasn’t opposed to the invitation. “Bought too many things huh? I guess that’ll happen. You know, when you’re given an endless supply of gold.” The seated man invited another person to join as well. A blonde boy who was hanging around with a horse. The poor guy looked like some type of bird with his head twitching this way and that. “Yea quit horsing around and get over here.” Kayla laughed a little too hard at her own pun. Still she wondered why the staff had asked to take her mount away while the boy was allowed to keep his. She shrugged. It was no big deal. Also, on the bright side, it allowed her to meet a horse.
Introductions seemed to begin. For her contribution, she offered a simple wave and said “Kayla.” She was somewhat preoccupied staring at the horse. Kayla had always had an affinity for animals. “Cool. Nice to meet you Thoron.” Kayla tilted her head as she listened to the squire explain the value of swimsuits. She didn’t think he was entirely correct. “They’re for swimming.”

Bel listened to what the tanned man with reddish tinted hair had to say. Apparently, there were beaches in his world, but he had not seen them. The geography of the land prevented him from doing so. A completely different perspective then that of her own.
"Where I live, it's a port town. I get to see the ocean every day. But, it is.. something completely different here. Though, I will admit I have not yet seen a lake." As far as she knew lakes were non existent in Nabata. And she knew there were some in Lycia but she did not know where they were. By this point the younger of the two boys came up and introduced himself as Eqwin. So, they weren't together. And apparently he was with a horse. How curious. She thought she saw a sign in the shop that stated no mounts were allowed on the beach?
"Sorry. Perhaps you'll get the drop on me next time. But, it is good to see you again Kayla. And you look amazing." Belinda commented before responding to the Pegasus rider's question.
"I've been well. And yes still reading as it is a big part of my profession. Sailing when I can. Looks like it will be a while before my next big trip out at sea. And you dear? Still riding the skies with Polly and causing your own brand of mischief?" The shamaness smirked a bit. Belinda did genuinely enjoy Kayla's company. She was one of few people who seemed to accept her for who she was. Dark magic and all. Belinda looked around for a bit, hoping to see Polly. She wanted to see if Polly would also be wearing her own set of shades to match Kayla's. No Polly. Perhaps she didn't make it into this dream world?
"No need to be so nervous around us Eqwin. This place is all about relaxing. Or so I am told. I'm Belinda, pleasure to meed you both. And I accept your offer of hospitality. And I understand your compulsion. We have access to infinite gold for what ever we desire.. it's very.. difficult to resist the temptation to just buy everything." She was trying very hard not to spend everything in her pocket. Although, when would she ever get the opportunity for this again? She decided not to think about it. She followed Hugo and the other's towards his little section of the beach. Belinda took a moment to appreciate the view. She wriggled the sand in between her toes and noted it to be a bit grittier then Nabata's shores. The water was a lovely aquamarine color. And she could see people scattered all over the beach. She saw people playing some sort of game with a ball and a net. Another group of people were playing capture the flag. And a few children were trying their hand at making sandcastles with big colorful buckets. There were people in the water too. Some swimming. Others appeared to be gliding over the waves on colorful boards.
Hugo had a nice little set up on the beach. A shady tarp, a grill, a table, and some chairs. Belinda quietly moved herself over towards one of the chairs and plopped down. A few feet across from the group there was a sort of beach shack. Inside there were some of the staff who sold drinks and more snacks. She saw a poster with a picture of various multicolored beverages. Most of which involved ice. She saw another guest pay for what looked like a bowl of snow coated topped with colored syrup. Belinda quickly looked up in the guidebook what the snow bowl was called. Snow cones. She skimmed through the pages until she came up to the part about beach clothing.
"Oh.. it says here that the swimsuits we are all wearing are also called bathing suits. The book doesn't say why, though. I guess, the less amount of clothing you have on.. makes you more agile in the water?" She didn't know.
