"I have strong conections in Ilia, if the government won't lend you help I'm sure that my teacher could persuade them to change their minds" Brad said to the negative Wyvern Lord, it was good to have connections.

"Thank you, Brad" Matis said, happily. "And, so what if our journey is the longest? That being the case, we have even more of a reason to hurry up. We are not racing against Kenshin and Matthias, but rather racing against the bandits and the newly reborn heroes!"
"If the heroes make it to many towns before we get there with reinforcements...I can't even think of the results..."

"Who is the one behind the heroes? Do they still have their old memories or are they mere shells of waht they were?" Brad asked, he had no idea the old heroes aside from Athos and Brammimond were back, he had been in Arcadia before the others arrived so he had been sheltered from this news.

'You are gonna have too ask Alexia, Ryan or Katara that if ever we see them again. I've never beheld them. As for who is behind them, that would be Hargus, the Bandit-King.' Alan replied then turning too Matis. 'It will be weeks, maybe even half a year before we return to Lycia. Whatever reinforcements we can muster, it will be for defence after Matthias' group routed them.'

"Why would Alexia, Ryan and Katara know? And who is Hargus?" Brad asked, filled with questions. Could Hargus have been the one that resurected the phantoms in the cave in Sacae he had visited earlier, could Hargus have been the man that reseructed Roland? Brad though to himself.

'Ah, I'm really not the right person to be asking this... Alexia and Co ran into Roland just before they got warped over here. They nearly got their heads cut off, I understand. Hargus is the man behind this whole situation. He somehow brought together most of the bandit faction out there.'

Lyndsey heard the entire conversation, having hovered just low enough to pick it up. Hargus? That name sounded eerily familiar. Wasn't he the one? No, she shook her head. She was against this group, she couldn't find common ground. She pulled out of hearing range.

"Then we must hurry, if they are carrying their sacred weapons than that means we're screwed. Especially if we have to face Hartmut"

'There nothing special about him, if run into any of them at this point, we're dead. And that's the end of it.' Alan started flying.

"Sadly enough, Alan is right. I doubt even an entire army would stop them. Still, we have to try and put a halt to them. If we don't, no one else will, and the world will be doomed." Matis said, determined to do anything and everything within reach to save the world.
The trip continued with no one saying anything. The sun was beggining to rise again, and that was when something struck Matis like a lightning bolt. "L-look, everyone! Mountains! We are near the edge of the desert!" Fastening his pace, Matis made his way through the searing sands, up to the base of the closest mountain. "There should be a mountain pass somewhere..." he muttered, looking around, without any luck.

"Of course there's something special about Hatmut, he weilds both the Sword of Seals and Exaccus and he was the leader of the 8 heroes, so I would assume that we could defend ourselves against someone like Hanon easier than Hartmut." Brad yelled to Alan ignoring Matis then he saw the mountains. "MOUNTAINS!" Brad yelled happily as he ran after Matis, he was of course quite a bit a behind, his robes were heavier than they looked.

Lyndsey chuckled at the group's eager nature. You'd think they wanted to be killed by Ilian mercenaries. "Any pass around here will be heavily guarded. The mercenary patrols take care of bandits in Ilia," she explained, waving at the mountain. "Besides, it would probably be better to go around. I know a good path." A good path that led right through a mercenary camp where Lyndsey had friends.

OoC: Have in mind that these mountains are the mountains AT THE EDGE OF THE DESERT. Not the ones near Ilia.
BiC: Alan descended right next to Matis after Lyndsey's comment, and Matis took the chance to ask Alan about his opinion. "Should we trust her? Not long ago she wanted to put her spear through our back." he whispered, trying not to be noticed.
"Does she have our trust? I guess we don't have much of a choice, really, but..." Matis drifted off into thoughts, trying to decide whether or not to follow the Pegasus Knight this time around.

'I'm not certain whether they still have their Legendary Weapons with them. And don't lecture me on Hartmut. If you knew what you were talking about then you'd know that Exaccus is wielded by the each King of Bern.' Alan yelled back at him. Then he flew lower by Matis. 'All I can say is that Kenshin definitally does not trust her.' He said. 'He send me with you to keep and eye on her and that Shaman.'

Dray'Gon had landed shortly after the group reached the mountains, and then reverted back to his human form. He was a little weak from having maintained his form as long as he did, but he did not pass out this time, and he was still capable of continuing on. He tried his best not to show his weakness however.
"Travelling through the mountains would be a breeze for those of us that can fly, but not for you and the shamans. Add on the fact that if we get attacked, It's would be hard for me to find suitable footing to help defend you, and you could all be in a valley with little chance to escape." Dray'Gon then turned to Lyndsey as if judging her suggestion, before turning back to Matis.
"I'm a little wary of trusting Lyndsey at this moment, but she hasn't shown any ill towards the group so far. Besides, her suggestion does seem to be fairly sound. I will leave the decision up to you."
