Macbeth had opened his eyes in surprise. Macbeth was, well, his strength was driven from him and his grip on Katara left him. He dropped the girl to the floor but still held strong. He managed to get a hand on his lance that was still laying on the floor.

Kenshin's eyes was set on this armored man. He started to walk towards him, his tone of voice was eerie compared to his normal. "Is this how you envisioned your death? Trying to kidnap a young woman and failing." Kenshin stopped a few feet from him putting his blade under Macbeth's chin. "Any last words before I end your life."

Macbeth stood up slowly and turned to face Kenshin. His lance was ready, and was prepared to defend himself if need be.
"So you wish to challenge me? Very well, I'll accept you challenge. Let us duel then...or is the honor of the plainsmen of Sacae not as they say. Would you just kill me here, after I generously challenge you to a duel, a gentlemen's duel?"

"I lost everybody and if somebody is going to try to take the few I have left I'm going to kill them even if I die doing so. But your armor is going to slow you down and in this small area you're not going to be able to defend yourself too well. I'll give you five minutes to prepair yourself. When you're ready meet me outside of this Inn. If anybody is with you make sure you give your final farewells."

"Don't think you are the only one who suffers from lost ones, boy!" Once again, Macbeth's voice shook the room.
Macbeth paused a moment to reflect on his anger. He wouldn't want to do something stupid just from his feelings.
"I shall accept your challenge! However, I will meet you in the center of town!"

"Kenshin, don't do it in town, if you lose, you'll die, but if you win, you'll be tried for murder!" Katara explained, "be reasonable. Just because this stranger challenges you doesn't mean you should accept!" she added, getting up.

"As he said, with my armor I would not be able to move very well in this room. If he were an honorable Sacaen plainsman he would atleast allow this to be fair."
Macbeth turned around and opened the door. Before he left, he looked back. "I shall be awaiting you outside in town." He left the room.

Kenshin snapped at Katara. "I challenged him, not the other way around. Anyways they cannot arrest somebody for defending themself." Kenshin had put his blade into it's sheath and started to leave then stopped at the door. "If you wish to see that man die for putting his hands on you like that, then come watch." Kenshin had left the Inn before Katara could respond to him and found the one he was looking for. He stood there waiting with his sword still in it's sheath for Macbeth to attack him first.

Katara roused herself and grabbed her sword. She dashed out of the inn and ran to the twon circle, wher Kenshin and the knight were staring each other down."Kenshin, be careful..." she said.

But Macbeth did not have his spear out. He at Kenshin with a strange look not even Macbeth could describe. By that time, a few civillians began to watch.

Dirk noticed some people gathering over by the town's center, he went over to look and immediately noticed Kenshin staring at a knight. He would be able to test each other, without actually fighting them, to see what they want to do.

"Dirk!" Katara said, running over to the nomad. "Stay back, Kenshin and that knight are having a gentleman's' duel," she added, "so, uh, where have you been?" she asked.

"You're Katara, right? I wasn't going to interfere. After the battle at Ostia, I went to Laus, then back to Ostia, noticed you were all gone, went to Sacae, saw Sokka and Kana, went to Ilia, came back to Sacae, then down here, avoiding Ostia." Dirk said, skipping most of the details.
OoC(I only have 2 reasons why he was so fast, one, he was by himself most of the time, two, Kabold is very fast, but now worn out from traveling.)

Macbeth had moved his eyes to Katara and Dirk. It was only a look though. He glared at Dirk a bit, but then moved his attention back to Kenshin. Macbeth leaned over a bit, as if he was bowing.
OOC: In my last post I said that I didn't have my spear out. I meant it was just sheathed. Just in case you guys didn't know.
