Kelvin, praying that he was flexible, kicked, reaching for Merio's sword. He got lucky and his foot connected with the butt of Merio's sword, sending it flying into the air. Kelvin watched the trajectory, and jumped up on his brother's horse. The sword fell back towards Kelvin and he caught in his hand. "Your move," he taunted.

Merio chuckled, as he picked up the lance that Kelvin had dropped. "So you let me have the weapon with the higher advantage... Genius of you, brother." Merio jumped onto Kelvin's horse, grabbed the reins, and charged right toward Kelvin.
He's holding the sword with his bad hand, so he'll have to switch hands to counter attack. That will give me decent time to hit him.

Kelvin realize that he was at a disadvantage, but it was too late to change. The lance hit kelvin right in the chest armor, knocking off the horse. But at the last second, Kelvin gabbed the lance and pulled, dismounting his brother. They tumbled to the ground. "I think it's a tie brother."

Merio grunts as he gets himself up, then gestures to Kelvin and helps him up as well. "Yes, we are truly evenly matched. I underestimated you, it looks like you didn't sleep through all of the lessons..."
Merio grabs his sword, and puts it away. "I admit, I can be a bit too cautious, but I have to think for both of us. You constantly push yourself into dangerous situations." He gets up on his horse, and turns to his brother again. "Now, shall we get back to getting to Santaruz?"
(End after Kelvin's post.)

"Perhaps I underestimated you as well. I assumed that you would be so busy thinking that you wouldn't have a chance to counter my rushing. Perhaps I should think a little more." Kelvin hopped upon his horse. "Come brother, we ride."
