Chelsea sighed. "I guess she must be off flying..." She turned her head towards the sky, as if expecting to see her friend flying around. When she didn't, she brought her gaze back to the ground. "Oh well... Thanks for the help Sir Kelvin." She gave him a little smile.

"Anytime," Kelvin replied, smiling back,"I was glad to help. Besides. I'm sure she's fine, she seems like she can take care of herself. I don't envy her, always having to scout ahead, never getting a chance to just relax." Kelvin sat down on the grass and let out a breath of air.

Chelsea plopped down next to the cavalier and pulled out some grass. As she tore it up absentmindedly, she thought again about everything that had happened. Certainly was an eventful day, and it still had a long way to go. Would someone else leave? Who? Would they ever see each other again?

Kelvin thought absent-mindedly to himself, wondering what else this day would bring. After all, it was still only morning. "Today certainly has been a strange day, eh?" He said smiling and looking over at Chelsea.

She nodded her head. "A really strange one. It seems like our group won't be a group much longer at this rate..." She sighed sadly. "Just when I had found a group of people who I fit in with again..."

"Yeah, at least you've still got Karina and me. Trust me, I'm not going anywhere soon," Kelvin said with a comforting smile. "You can count one me to be here for you."

The archer gave him a warm smile. "Thank you Sir Kelvin..." She looked up to the sky again for a minute before speaking. "It's nice to know that I have at least two people I can talk to." The first of course being Karina.

As if from nowhere, Kelvin felt a strange urge, the urge to do something stupid. Kelvin was used to this urge, and followed through with it, not really thinking about what he was about to do.
Kelvin leaned in and kissed Chelsea.

Chelsea's eyed widened as Kelvin kissed her. She was so stunned by the suddenness of her first kiss that she couldn't talk for a few seconds. When she finally found her voice, she spoke up. "K-Kelvin... I..." She couldn't think of what else to say. She shook her head, slowly at first, and stood up. She looked back down towards the cavalier again, then turned away, walking away from camp. Her mind was spinning. What had just happened? She didn't look back as she walked away, slowly making her pace faster and faster. Once she was a good distance away, she sat under a tall tree, pulling her headband down over her eyes.

Kelvin wasn't sure of what he had just done. Sure, he knew that he had just kissed Chelsea, but he wasn't sure of the repercussions. As Chelsea got further away, Kelvin lay down in the grass. If only he had been more like Merio... Kelvin just wished sometimes his brother could appear on his shoulder to tell him smart from stupid.
Kelvin rolled over onto his stomach, buried his face in the ground and screamed.

Chelsea's head was spinning. She couldn't wrap her head around what just happened. She slowly reached a hand up and touched her lips, the lips Kelvin had kissed only a few minutes ago. She didn't know what to think. It was obviously now that Kelvin had feeling towards her, his actions made that evident. And she didn't dislike him, quite the contrary, he had been sweet to her since they met. But... she knew her heart was focused on someone else. At the same time, she didn't want to hurt Kelvin. Did that mean she'd have to pick? How could she pick between Kelvin, a brave knight, who had been so kind and sweet to her, and Karina, her best friend whom she connected with since day one, who had helped her several times and who she cared for so greatly? Tears slowly started to leak from her eyes into her headband. She didn't know what to do.

Kelvin lay on the ground for a few minutes, but it seemed like hours. When he finally found the strength to stand, he headed back towards the camp. Sure, he would resolve this matter later, but right now he needed to clear his mind. He needed to find his brother.

Chelsea wiped the tears from her eyes as she moved her headband back up. She slipped through the woods and got back into camp. She avoided the eyes of everyone around her and hurried into the tent her and Karina shared. She needed to talk to her, so she sat and waited until she could.
