At that moment a oddly dressed man adorned in bandages and quite ridiculous armor passed by. His armor looked like something out of an Ilian play; despite the fact that it was cracked. His right hand had a chain tied around it. his muscles seemed scrawny and his scabbard was rusty and his legs seemed to walk with a bit of a limp.
He walked by Jack's room for a moment. Delaying what needed to be done. The commander was always in a bad mood it seemed and preferred expressing his mood through physical means. Still, he breathed deep and knocked. "Force Commander, sir. I know you are indisposed for the moment with the prisoner sir. However Commander Wedner has returned and ordered a status report sir. Involving the prisoners and the activity of "a familiar black wyvern that knocked five archers with the off the wall then sped off into the darkness." He says if you must you can bring the prisoners along . I can provide the handcuffs sir."

As Michelle got dressed into her bandit uniform Ether heard someone knocking at the door. Great now he would have to add another body to the ones already underneath the bed. Wait he could get this bandit to tell him a way out of here, this was a great opportunity. Ether then closely paid attention to what this guy was saying. Wedner was back?! This wasn't good he would have to get Michelle and himself out of there and fast. Did he also hear something about Vyer taking out some archers? Ether really didn't pay attention to that part.
He walked up to the door and flung it opened before he grabbed the man standing behind it and slammed him up against the empty wall behind him. He glared at the bandit with angry eyes before he got a good look at him. What was with this guys armor he looked strangely dressed it didn't look fit for fighting. Neither did this man before him for that matter he looked to weak and fragile to fight.
"Hey there buddy if you want to make it out of here alive you're going to help my friend and I find a safe way out of here," Ether said as he then looked to his lance that was leaned up against the wall signaling this bandit that if he tried anything he would surely die.
"If you try to call for help or tip anyone off while we try to make an escape you'll end up a human shish kabob!" He growled. Hopefully this would work he didn't want to kill the guy but if he had to he would. All Ether wanted was to get out of this fortress and relax a bit with Vyer and Michelle he was tired of fighting.

Virgil was quickly slammed against the wall. he kept a stoic face. Ah here goes Jack again threatening my life and putting a spear against my face. If he had heard it once he had heard it a thousand tim- is that Jack's body on the ground. Good lord he was fatter then he thought. Jesse on the other hand didn't deserve this. He even had his own vase in pieces by his body.
He looked into the eyes of the attacker. Those were the eyes of a harsh, blunt, desperate man. More then that he saw his opponent had a sense of priorities, a desire to avoid confrontation, and intelligence. His features looked like that of a Bern man, but he wasn't sure. He would have to risk it. He spoke as if his words would parry the weapon at his throat. "Know that I hated Jack. I recommend you kill him before he wakes up. He's known for killing the families of soldiers when he doesn't have the skill to kill the man he wants to. Honestly though, it looks like your moral values are in the way. You've knocked two unconscious, and I'd bet you'd do the same for me.
But before you do. Know that I have no loyalty to this organization. I came here for a teacher; and he's done little more then make me his errand boy. So I am more then willing to leave this place of employment if you can promise me a teacher if I leave. Tell me boy-assassin. Do you get a new blade, or do I ruin your lives right here with a scream?"
Virgil smiled and spoke calmer, slowing slightly to become clearer. Putting his chain hand forward, trying not to show just how terrified he really was."Now then before this conversation continues know that I am in your debt for incapacitating Jack. I found him quite an annoying man. However I recommend you kill him before he regains his senses. I've heard he's a vengeful sort and he doesn't mind going after families to stir up the warriors. Also the fact that you have left him alive makes me believe you would knock me out instead of kill me. After all if I call for help you are already dead; my death wouldn't fix that. You've shown you are willing to fight by the bodies on the floor, but you've shown your moral values in keeping them alive and unconscious.
But before you make me join them know that I have no loyalty towards Commander Wedner. I joined him because I wanted to learn to fight; and I heard he was a good teacher. He so far has made me his errand boy, being nice only to make me loyal, while being careful to avoid telling me anything to make me stronger. Tell me boy-assassin. If I follow you do I gain myself a teacher; and do you gain a new blade. Or must I break your lives with a scream."
He started shaking against the wall. With equal parts terror and anticipation.

As Ether listened to Virgil talk he really didn't believe that if he killed him that Lycia would do all the things he said. But this guy made a point if he left Jack alive he'd surely come after his family so killing him probably was the right thing to do. Morals? Ether would have killed him if he was in this room but it was Michelle that knocked him out. He then figured he would have to ask her what happened in here at a later time.
A teacher? Ether himself still needed training he couldn't train a apprentice. He hope this guy didn't mean he was going to have to train him it would take years before this guy could become a wyvern rider like he was and that was if this guy wanted to become a wyvern rider. Ether could though introduce this kid to some trainers in the Bern military but this guy would have to specifically tell him what he wanted to be.
"First things first," Ether began as he let go of the guy as his shaking was getting on his nerves. "I am not a assassin I am a offical Bern wyvern rider who was assigned to take out these bandits here with Jack but it turned out he was a traitor," Ether then pulled Jack out of from under the bed and then tossed Virgil his lance.
"I can get you a teacher and a safe and fast way out of here on my wyvern but first I have to know I can trust you," Ether said as he smiled to Virgil. "I want you to kill Jack here and then you'll have my trust and we can get out of here," He said with a devilish smirk on his face he really wanted to see Jack dead.

Virgil stared at the unconscious body of the man. "He is a traitor you say?" He took out his blade quickly; stabbing it into the unconscious body of the Wyvern rider. forcing his point into the foamy under neck of the man on the ground. He stabbed through his heart as well to appease his captors. He wiped his blade down on the bed sheets and put the blade back in it's sheath. "Lead on."

Ether was honestly surprised that Virgil did it, and did it quick. Ether then grabbed his lance and took a peek outside the door. Nobody was there. Where was everyone? This place was crawling with bandits when he and Vyer first landed here. They're all probably with Commander Wedner right now. Wedner! That double crossing rat is probably on his way here.
"Alright Virgil good work but now we need to find a way out of here, a fast secret way out of here," Ether said sounding a tad nervous and paranoid.

OOC: You may assume I am leading you the right direction and may take control of me if required to show how you are being led forward.
IC: Virgil tried to remain calm under the man's growing paranoia. "Okay. There's a slight problem. You see, the fast secret passages the guards use all the time. We patrol the fortress when we're assigned to, when we want to bask in the sun; or when say there are intruders we need to pinpoint outside the secret passages. Now that you are both... caught; More guards will be using the passages.
There are two more ways to leave this castle. Through the front door or through the rooftop. If you choose the former I guarantee there are at least three knights by the front door who will make a call and bring down at least a dozen wyverns on top of you.
The latter will bring you face to face with the commander. Your disguise may very well might be the only thing making any of these choices possible.
however, if you still want the secret path... adjust your hat Captain Abeforth."
He took a step outside the door and grabbed a torch hanging there. The brick shuddered for a moment then swung open. Right away one could hear the echos of guards voices and the clank of metallic footsteps. "Follow me, sir."

Ether then grabbed hold of Michelle's hand and they followed behind Virgil. It was strange walking through this secret passage Ether felt as if he was walking through walls like a ghost.
"Virgil you joined up with these bandits to find a teacher?" Ether asked as he walked through this secret passage. "I mainly want to know how'd you ended up in all this," He added.

Michelle took a more passive position as another man, one wearing some kind of weird armour that looked as if another strike or two would easily split it into two. What was worse, was that the knight she was with had almost no problem with trusting this bandit who had just appeared from nowhere. Something about this bandit made Michelle uneasy, especially the part where he claimed he had joined the bandits only to learn more about fighting and yet, saw no hesitation in dealing the death blow and strike to his own commander, traitor or not.
Michelle stepped forward slowly, keeping a few steps behind the two men as they left the corridor, noting how taken in the knight was by the bandit. As the bandit opened a passageway and led them in it, Michelle spoke up, reminding them that she was still around and, that the other man was probably not to be trusted, "Hey! Ether! Why are you trusting him so easily? He's still a bandit and he knows we're not. He says he wants to learn and gain more experience with fighting, but does not show any hesitation in silencing Jack in that room earlier. He doesn't seem fine to me at all. For all we know, he could be leading us into a trap!"
Saying thus, Michelle proceeded to glare at the bandit that had led them there.

Virgil made a motion to silence for awhile, before hearing the speeding up of footsteps. Some guards had obviously overheard something.
In an effort to decide what to do Virgil stared back at the girl. Desperation, anger and confusion were in his voice. "Do you think I am fond of rapists and murderers of our own guard when in a foul mood madam. I joined this outfit to be taught a noble art. Jack was not my officer, Wedner was. And he has yet to perform his promised duties. Jack on the other hand seems to think his duty is to beat the messenger, take advantage of women, and beat his own men when they outperform him. I hear he is a traitor as well, and I am given an opportunity to kill him without regret. I take no shame in taking part in his demise, and I feel honorable for doing so.
I will not attack Wedner. I may be willing to defy his organization which I never swore to protect, but I still will not harm him. I have however now sworn to help you out. So don't you worry. If I'm leading you to a trap I'll be joining you.
As for you Bern-not-assassin; if you are interested in my story; keep me alive until I can tell it to you!"
The guards came into view. one armed with an axe, the other a lance. Virgil half-saluted while sweating enough to drown an army. "Presley. Jones."[/color] He attempted to push past them, but they easily barred him from walking past them. The guard brandishing an axe stepped forward and crossed his big muscular arms; trying to look like the man in charge. The spear holder behind him seemed to grip his spear tight. "I seemed to have 'eard a little bit a' screamin from a girlie and yourself. Tell me Virg. Whats goin' on 'ere?"

As the man that had joined them launched himself into an unbearably long speech and sentence that Michelle couldn't help but wonder if this guy thought that he was part of a drama club instead of being a bandit. As the man's speech reached an end, two bandits walked up the path that they were walking through, one holding an axe, one holding a lance.
The bandit holding an axe placed himself between his comrade and the three of them, obviously trying to make himself look like he was the one in charge. He was gawking slightly at Michelle and Michelle could feel that the man was trying to make himself look impressive in front of her, hoping she would take notice of him. Men were such brutes, always seeking to go out with women just because of their looks, Michelle couldn't help but feel a deep disgust of men in general, although she had to admit that there were exceptions to men.
"I seemed to have 'eard a little bit a' screamin from a girlie and yourself. Tell me Virg. Whats goin' on 'ere?", the bandit said aloud. So, he was attracted here by Michelle's voice from earlier. Michelle, despite being angry and disgusted, still maintained her composure, and decided to make use of the situation to dump the other man that had joined them.
His near-worshipping of Wedner had made Michelle feel that this man was dangerous, especially when he could kill another of his comrades without hesitation. There was no telling when he would decide that Michelle and the knight were no longer allies. Also, he seemed to have gotten the wrong idea about the situation at hand.
Thinking fast, Michelle took a step forwards, making herself look extremely frail as she did so. She could feel the bandit's eyes tracing the location of her breasts. She took another step, and then, with a quick nimbness, she pretended to trip over a tile on the floor and fell, face and breast first into the arms of the bandit, feeling him drop his axe to the ground in order to catch her. "Help me please! That bandit, he.. he tried to... and... and...", went Michelle, stammering and making herself look panicked on purpose.
Did she feel a tang of regret for what she had done? No, not anymore. She might feel disgusted at what she was doing now if she had done this some time ago, but now she would not. After all, what all guys wanted was her body. It made sense to make use of it for their job. After all, people like Jack were obviously common.....
Michelle could feel the bandit's eyes staring at her breasts, which she had purposefully pushed into his face. She raised an arm and stabilised herself, standing upright, and then, in another sweep, launched herself at the other bandit, grabbing hold of his lance, and with all of her strength, knocking it over the bandit's head. "Now!", she screamed at the knight, as she felt the bandit's skull crack under the hit she had given him.

Ether listened to Michelle and Virgil talk and she did make a point. Ether didn't trust him he just figured if there was even the slightest chance of getting out of here this guy could get them there. As the bandits asked Virgil what was going on Ether gulped. He was getting really tied of always getting into risky situations and having to think fast. He sighed it was a occupational hazard but geez! Ether had forgotten how long it has been since he first got into this fortress.
Once Michelle had called out to him Ether jumped into action and dashed toward the man jabbing his lance into the man's chest and then slammed him against the wall on the opposite side he was standing next to. Why did Michelle use her body like that? He felt has if she was demeaning herself, someone like her doesn't have to toss her body out like that as if it was just some tool to be used as it just was. She was much more than a pretty face, she had a sense of humor and smarts. Ether looked at Michelle with a caring look and the to Virgil.
"Right now Vigil's past does not matter he has agreed and sworn to help us and that's good enough for me," Ether began as he pulled his lance out of the bandits body and watched the big brute drop to the ground. "Besides Michelle I wouldn't let anything happen to you. Even if he were betray us and sell us out to Wedner I'd make sure we would somehow get out. I know I don't sound smart for trusting Virgil but sometime you have to put your trust in people no matter their history," He said with a smile on his face.
"Now let get out of here," The wyvern rider said as he began walking.

Even if he were betray us and sell us out to Wedner I'd make sure we would somehow get out. I know I don't sound smart for trusting Virgil but sometime you have to put your trust in people no matter their history.", said the knight, right after he impaled the first bandit with his lance. They had made a really quick work of these bandits. Michelle hoped that none more would come after realising that these two bandits were missing.
Michelle stepped forwards twice, then stopped. Without turning around, she spoke up, a tinge of sorrow in her voice that would be obvious to one listening closely to what she was saying, "Well... If you put it that way.., fine... Also.., no one saw that happening earlier..."
Michelle didn't have to elaborate about what she was talking about as she knew that the knight and the novice would have immediately known that she was talking about her use of her body to get out of their situation. Why was it now that they had been safe that remorse had crept into her heart? Was it because of the look of concern that Michelle had seen the knight give her? Was she...? No! That couldn't be!
"Let's go!", Michelle said suddenly, her voice already lost the sadness from earlier, replacing it with a sudden urgency.
OoC: I have an idea on how we could become like villains or fugitives. We could meet Wedner and a whole battalion of wyvern riders when we escaped from the stronghold, with them accusing us of being traitors, and us finding out about them using us as scapegoats. Then, we'd make a quick and desperate escape from them, with Bern's army having been notified to hunt us down.

OOC: I think we hive-minded Michelle; as I was hoping for exactly the same situation. I hope you don't mind if I assume you are both following me. Also I have a wonderful idea about whats in the crate you seem so keen on stealing; if you will allow it.
IC: Virgil gave them a smile "You won't regret your trust." He checked the wounds of the brigands. The Axeman Zhal didn't stand a chance. The spear man, Bernie might survive if a healer gets to him within the next five minutes. Something which Virgil hoped he'd be able to accomplish. "I was hoping your stealth would accomplish more. Just letting you know sounds tend to carry in the passages. Take whatever precaution you find fitting." Virgil darted up the passage. Letting his boots clamor letting the rumble of his feet and what little the torch showed guide him. A few guards passed by. All of them too busy to do much more then salute before continuing on.
From there it was a left to the armory. Just a long enough stop to grab some rope and some rations. then the time to run up the stairs on the right. Then the left. then the left again... Ya that was right. While tying the ropes together Virgil explained why he took them in the first place. "Now the fastest way out if by the roof. We have a stable right next to this side of the castle. We can use this rope to lower ourselves down and take the horses out of here."
He arrived at the final door. breathing deeply. He grasped the handle and heaved it open. They were greeted by the fresh air, the night sky and about half a regiments worth of riders waiting by a white-haired man with a deep scar and armor that glowed white as bone. Funny this wasn't the commanders usual landing grounds. "Commander." "Virgil." Virgil stood silent for a moment after this. The riders happened to have their weapons all ready during this particular moment. "Bernie has been wounded sir; Zhal was found dead." "And you were found here. Where you aren't supposed to be. With new friends." As the wyvern riders readied their lances, Virgil wondered how Wedner had managed to get the news so fast. he saw a one of the carrier pigeons of one of the soldiers they had passed on the way here on his great wyvern's tail. He looked back to his companions. Too terrified to break his gaze with the enemy."You know they tend to keep a few hey-bails close to this side of the castle." Absent-mindfully Virgil drew his sword and tied his chain around his sword hand.

OOC: Virgil PM me your idea of what's inside the crate. As for the only villain/fugitive thing I've had an idea that was totally different from that. I figured Ether's descent to becoming a villain wouldn't bring others with him. He'd just slowly become more and more evil as events unfolded. But this is all just an idea I've had might just scrap it.
Ether followed Virgil with one thought in mind, getting out of this god forsaken fortress. But his wish would have to wait as once they exited the fortress he was greeted to Wedner. He felt that things were going to go even worse when he watched as Virgil pulled out his blade that was pretty much ensuring their death. The white-haired rider then looked up as he noticed his wyvern fly overhead. He smiled, Vyer might be their only way out he was much faster than any wyvern in Bern except maybe for Wedner's wyvern.
He then noticed that Vyer was caring something but he couldn't figure out what it was. Ether then looked again as his wyvern flew overhead again, it was a tree! Not a huge tree but still a pretty reasonable size tree and what was Vyer doing.....He dropped the tree! Where was it going. Not knowing where it was going to land Ether grabbed Virgil and pulled him back a bit away from Wedner as the tree dropped between Wedner and his men from their wyverns.
"Ether! I should have known you're damn Vyer would get in the way!" Wedner growled as he watched a few of his men get squashed by the tree. "Get to your wyverns now!" He growled as he began to look for a way around the tree.
"Vyer!" Ether exclaimed as he through of his helmet. The black armored cover wyvern landed near Ether and his friends and let out a roar. Ether then jumped onto his wyvern, he felt so happy to be riding with Vyer again.
"Hey let's go while they're distracted!" Ether shouted! They would be able to get out of here if they got a far enough lead. Then they would head for a Bern military fortress so they could spill Wedner's treachery to everyone.
