Hello Good sir and/or madam. I would very much appreciate a mugshot for the FE planet stat sheet that seems to be all the rage nowadays. If possible I would like to give a crack at spriting the thing myself. However I don't know the size appropriate for FE planets generator or how fickle it may be. What I have so far is included as an attachment, because I don't know how to use attach an image command in this forum. Hang on let me give it a try. Second try is success... except for the text on the bottom! Any assistance in the matter would be greatly appreciated. In addition I would greatly appreciate any tips and or tricks towards sprite generation.

As far as I remember, 100x100 is about pushing it. Anything slightly smaller than that is better, since at 100x100 some of the sides might get cut off. As for uploading images, I don't think anyone here has ever used Proboard's attachments. I myself prefer www.imgur.com for images. You'll have to wait for someone else to help you with the mug, though. I'm not that bad at it, but I'm WAY out of practice, and there's much, much better spriters here.

Thank you Gabriel. I'm okay with some of the lower portions or some of the right side portions being cut. So a slight adjustment will be fine for me. I'm more concerned with the quality of the image, since the face and the cloth overlapping the armor don't seem quite right to me.

Was gonna get all fancy and everything, but I found this mug. All I did was recolor it, it seemed re close to what you had.

This works very well!
Thank you very much Kynlis! I would still love tips, suggestions or critiques to the above.
since my story relies upon me having semi-armor I'm tempted to add the pauldrons into this version of the character. On the other hand since the picture in the upper left seems to be what the characters are supposed to look like and the one in the stat screen seems to be what they look like in their least formal wear.... I think I'm good.
Edit: No, unfortunately I have a very strong desire to make this a custom sprite, it took me about five seconds after putting it into a sprite sheet to realize it. While the hair is a decent fit as well as the uniform sash. The face was slightly off. the eyes were larger and his expression was not one I desired. Also Pauldrons.

Any better? I copied the face you used on your updated one, and I gave him one pauldron. I could give him another, but I think it'll look clunky.

it's better. But I think I'm going to go custom unless anyone has any objections.

Does this count as an objection? EDIT: No, this is probably more down your alley
