((OOC: Sorry I thought he was dead; no matter he’s still a bloody mess so the image remains the same. Also in Isabel’s last post she mentions Andersmith had the assassin over his shoulder but in Tara’s Calvin is still staring at him on the floor and Tara stabs him. I’m just going to go with Tara’s post and assume he’s on the floor… I hope that’s ok…))
After some more eye contact with Tara Jya gave up on figuring out whom Tara was, deciding she’d realize it sooner or later. That being all said and done with she turned around and left almost as quickly as she arrived and headed back to the inn to have some breakfast. Although with, what seemed like, the only employee outside with the other she might have a little bit of waiting to do.
As Jya left Isabel introduced herself, Calvin, and Jya. Hoping Jya’s constant stare hadn’t made Tara uncomfortable she explained that she used magic. Andersmith on the other hand made the suggestion that everyone headed inside for something to eat, but although a good idea had little response.
Calvin had been staring at the body curiously for a while now. It was almost like a hypnotic trance, everything happening around Calvin had gone in one ear and out the other, Including Isabel’s question. The more Calvin stared at the body the less he understood. He wasn’t exactly mortified by this experience; no it wasn’t that, he just completely did not understand it. Growing up in the confinements of his family’s farm, he still had much to learn about the, “outside”, world. However Calvin’s mesmerizing gaze was quickly broken as he heard an unexpected, loud voice, accompanied by some attention attracting waves. “Child! You shouldn’t do that! That man is an assassin, and if he is still alive, he could very well jump up at any second and kill you without a second thought!”
As quickly as she could, Tara pulled out her sword and drove it through the chest of the assassin, concluding his defeat. Some droplets of blood splashed onto Calvin’s sleeve as the sword was thrust through the chest.
“Plus, it’s covered with disease now. Dead things usually are.”
Calvin shook the blood off his hand and looked over at Tara with a smile. He didn’t know what happened, but at least he understood what disease was, everyone’s been sick before. It was an unpleasant experience, and the death of most of his livestock at home, it was enough to get Calvin away from the body.
“Ohh! Good idea I don’t want to get sick! Thank you… umm I don’t know your name, but you seem nice! Thank you friend, my name is Calvin!”
However without giving Tara a lot of time to respond he turned back to Isabel, his smile slanting into a more baffled expression.
“Isabel I don’t get it… Was that magic you just used? What about Andersmith and my new friend, what did they just do with those weapons? What happened!”

Jya took her seat in the darkest area she could find. She considered waiting for Andersmith to return and order from there but then she was already quite hungry. Then again she had to wait for the others. To not waste anymore time, she took out her medicines but this time consisted of different bottles and pills. These seemed more effective when used during the morning afterall.
She laid her head on top of her crossed arms, staring into the pills and liquid. How envious she was towards all the lucky healthy people in the world. There was no use brooding over it however, fate was cruel and one just has to deal with it.

Isabel smiled at the compliments she had just received from this Tara girl. At least, she figured that the last bit about battle magic was a compliment. If it wasn't... Best not to dwell on that. "Indeed; I was just thinking that... The thing about manners, I mean." Isabel said with a small, weak grin. She slammed her book shut with a loud snap, and then turned to Calvin. "Well, Calvin... Yes. That was magic. Dark magic, the brand of magic I have chosen to specialize in. It's powerful... And, in more experienced hands, deadly. Not saying my hands aren't experienced, just... Not exprienced enough. I'm still a prodigy, ya know!" The blue-haired pupil said, stomped her foot, and then set off behind Andersmith, who was walking back into the inn with the limp body.
"Come on inside, Calvin; we have a long talk ahead of us... Might as well have it over food."
Once inside, Isabel noted where Jya had sat, and then made a beeline for her. She sat right next to the green-garbed assassin, and then set her book onto the table, rapping her fingers off the cover.
Oh god why couldn't she seem to stop thinking about how that man's body went limp under the force of Andersmith's fist, how the blood just flowed down where an arm had been not a minute before...

Isabel addressed Calvin, explaining that she had just used dark magic, and of course reminding him of her status of prodigy. Calvin smiled politely knowing he was friends with such a powerful young magician (help, she’s brain washing him). Calvin didn’t understand the mechanics of magic, like how she just created energy from her hand, but he saw no reason to ask all that mattered to him was he was travelling with a prodigy. His mind was set on the corpse anyway. He followed Isabel inside and the two of them sat around Jya again, who had her pills set out in front of her. Calvin looked over at Isabel who seemed a little lost in thought. He perked an eyebrow before calling her name.
“Isabel?”

Tara followed the children inside, not wanting to be left alone in a street with dead people. She saw the trio around a table. They all seemed a little young to be out on their own... Maybe she would ask to accompany them. She could not just let a bunch of children with weapons run around without an adult to make sure thy don't get into too much trouble... What sort of world would that be?
Tara walked over to the group and sat near the girl Isabel had told her was names Jya. he couldn't help but notice the amount of pills in front of her.
"Are you sick? Poor thing... Are you sure you should be jumping out of windows, in that case. Anyway, I have nowhere to go, and as you might have noticed, am prone be being attacker by armed men. I have skills that may be helpful to you... I can cook, sew... and, uh, I know a bit of anatomy, so I can act as a medic of sorts... Please take me with you!" she asked the green girl, hoping she did not sound to desperate.

Jya began to take the pills first and inputting her order of food towards Andersmith. The morning had started hectic but that doesn't mean the pace would move as so. She gulped down a small bottle of bitter liquid that helped wash down a giant pill and let out a sigh of relief that that was over. Looking over she couldn't help but notice how upset or was it contemplating Isabel seemed.
"Everyone is bound to die someday, all I can do is live more than others to help balance it out," she said patting the young magic on the shoulder. The Tara woman was over as well and she gave her smile at her.
"If I didn't start being lively and stayed in bed like I was told, I would probably be dead my now," she laughed but in all seriousness, it was more then likely true.
"I believe the more the merrier!" she replied, quickly changing the subject matter.

Isabel was just sitting there for a moment, until she felt Jya's hand on her shoulder. She turned to the assassin, sighing. "True enough, I suppose. I'm not exactly a fan of that fact, though." The blue-haired pupil sighed again, and then patted her book. And then Jya made a comment to this Tara, who had just asked to join them. The green-garbed assassin had proceeded to tell Tara that they would be glad to have her along! Isabel's usual personality kicked into gear at that.
"Of course we would be glad to have you along, Tara! Welcome to the group." Isabel said with a smile. She would have to remind Jya later that Isabel was the leader of this little group, not her. Oh well; another problem for another time.
Isabel then turned her attention to Calvin. "So... How are you holding up, bardy?"

As the conversation progressed Calvin started to figure things out. Obviously he knew what death was, he just never really knew humans could be the cause of it. It was a shame that the first bad thing Calvin learned about the world is that humans can be the cause of each other’s death. It was truly a saddening fact, one which Calvin finally understood. His eyes watered but fortunately for Calvin his first experience didn’t involve anybody close to him. He managed to contain any tears and wiped his eyes with his sleeves, which in doing so he noticed a dry hard spot on his sleeve; it was just a few drops of blood from earlier. Calvin picked and scraped at his sleeve silently in attempt to remove it, every so often wiping his eyes as the others talked about Tara joining them. Calvin got all of the blood off quickly; after all it was only a few drops. He turned to Isabel to answer her question.
“I don’t know… I think I finally understand what happened… Now I just need to know why? It’s so sad, how could someone do something like that.”
Thankfully enough Calvin wasn’t thinking about the fact he was with the people who killed the man.

Tara looked at the group, wondering what hey would do next. "I am not the best fighter, but I am sure yo all will not be disappointed with my other skills!" she said, smiling. She went to the bar and ordered some porridge, then sat back down at the table. Her mind wandered back to her own troubles. She really hoped that those were the last assassins that would come for her, but knowing Ilian nobles, they would keep coming until the duke himself was dead. She didn't want to put these children in the way of harm, but she knew that by herself, she was as good as dead.
Turning back towards the group, she asked, "so, where are we going? Any grand plans?"

OOC: I will probably moving out of the thread and meeting up with you guys later. Or you can try to find me, for the mission is about to begin... -insert ominous voice here-
Jya felt that things were more lively then before now. It seemed the others were getting over the whole dead person thing. This was the few times she was thankful for her experience in the past. At least she got over the feeling of killing another... at least in self defense. The guilt is something one has to deal with later, far later in life. While contemplating on the issue she leaned back on her chair before setting her boots on the table. She shifted her hands into her pockets to help relax and noticed something...
The edges felt like paper... She swore she never put any paper in these pockets, they were usually empty or filled with medicine. Her hand felt around the paper, and it appeared to be well folded. Her instincts told her to be cautious of anything abnormal, so she slowly slid the paper out of her pocket. Carefully she examined the outside, finding the red seal upon it. It was fancy but nothing distinguishable. It looked like it would be from a noble but the intricate pattern simply curled around each other in an unidentifiable way.
Cautious but in a definite moment, she removed the deal and looked upon the letter. At a first glance it was definitely regal in itself and appeared almost like some important fancy smancy important document or something along those lines.
The local priest is a spy for Ertuia in Bern. He must be eliminated, and there will be a handsome reward for this. If you succeed, hang his staff on the town square signpost. He is a powerful practitioner of Light Magic, and holds a mighty tome. We will contact you again if you succeed.
After reading through the lines she quickly folded the thing out of panic back into her pockets. What could this mean? An assassination order? She didn't take those, not now, she didn't want to make the same mistake like before! A priest? A evil priest? That incomprehensible in her opinion but it wasn't impossible. She didn't believe anything was impossible due to past experiences. Then again why did it seem like she had already accepted this thing? Was she drunk? No she didn't get drunk... How did it end up...
Her mind tried to sort through the information. This put quite a damper in her morning and ruined the little appetite she had. She swung her body out of the way to the ground and got off from the seat.
"I think I'll look around town a bit," she lied cheerfully and innocently. It felt natural and she might even believe in it. With her statement, she slid out of the inn and took measures into disappearing into the crowd, like the real assassin she was.

Tara was glad to be accepted in the group and since the introductions were already done she asked a very important question, where were they going? Calvin was going with Isabel to Bern but now Jya was here and Tara had joined on, was a change of plans necessary? Calvin turned to Tara.
“I was following Isabel to Bern! Although now you and Jya have joined us, do you guys want to go anywhere? I’ve never left home before so everywhere is a new experience to me!”
He turned to Jya to ask what she wanted to do but before he opened his mouth he could see her suspiciously reading a letter to herself. It was strange; she seemed somewhat joyful while reading it. Calvin didn’t know what it was, but anything to make someone smile like that had to have been good, Calvin wanted to join! Unfortunately before he could even ask Jya left to look around town, Calvin was disappointed to say the least, but finally saw opportunity!
“let’s all take a break and head out later, I’d like to see the town before I leave, maybe earn some money!”
Calvin chucked his bag over his shoulder and skipped outside excited to finally do what he set out for, play music.
