That's a good thought. I'm not a mod, but a Projected Shaman starts with dark magic instead of fire. I can't speak onthe decision, but it'd make sense.

Yes there can. A Squire picks one of the two weapons to be good with.

The question was about a trainee class that, on promotion, will possibly branch to different weapons. A pupil that will go mage uses fire. A pupil that will go shaman uses flux. A cavalier uses two weapons. If you know that you're character will be a cavalier, you could have a different weapon on promotion in one class and not the others. How the hell did I hurt anything?
