"Don' look Bernese? Why I'm Bernese born an' bred! Though I have been told I don' look it before." Iorran took another draught of the smoke. It relaxed him. Kept him from instantly jumping up and shouting his approval of the rebellion and pleading to be allowed to join.
"Don' worry 'bout me. I won' tell a soul. In fact..." the giant leaned in close and smirked, "I think bein' a traitor sounds just fine, if'n yer askin' me."
It dawned on Iorran that he wasn't really getting to the point. If they really were with the rebellion then they'd likely want to get going. However, he couldn't let this opportunity slip away. The swordsman stood up and walked to a corner where the floorboards were loose. He worked his large fingers under the planks and pulled them up, cobwebs and dust flying out.
"If ye don' get me meanin', I'd like ta join ye. I got me own reasons ta hate those soldiers. Bern fer tha Bernese and whatnot." he spoke as he continued to pull up more planks. As he did, an iron-bound door in the floor was slowly revealed. It was caked in dust, but still recognizable as a trap door.
"Me landlord said this house was built on top o' an old maintenance shaft fer when they built tha sewers. I spent about a week lookin' fer the entrance and I found it." Iorran gripped an iron ring that was attached to the door. It was locked, but that never stopped him before. The giant's arms bulged as he pulled, every muscle and vein becoming easily visible on the arm that wasn't clad in a sleeve. After a few seconds, the lock broke and the door cracked open. The hinges broke at the door itself came flying off in Iorran's hands.
"Well that's broken..." the giant put bluntly. He looked over at the two and smirked once more, "If'n yer wantin' a way out unnoticed then here ye are. The smell will likely be unfortunate, but it's that or tha streets."
(OoC: Sorry if this conflicts with your plan. I can edit it if you like, but I figured this saves your the trouble of fitting Tirion into your escape.)

Saturos watched as the unnamed red-headed man ripped up the wooden floorboards. The ensuing dirt cloud forced a couple of small coughs out of the swordsman, as he nodded approvingly as a trap door was slowly revealed. Perfect. Much better than his plan, at least.
"I'd say that's as good an entrance fee as any," said Saturos, crouching down next to the once secret opening. "At least as long as it goes where you say it goes. Besides, we could always use more man power in the fight against Ilia." The myrmidon gave the red-headed man a quick salute. "Welcome aboard."
Then, with a small hop, Saturos leaped down into the darkness, and landed feet first into about five inches of water. A foul odor met his nose, a floating mass brushed against his leg. He didn't have to guess to know what it was, but he'd rather not say it aloud if just to allow himself some semblance of dignity. Looking back up to the opening, Saturos cupped his hand around his mouth. "Come on in, the water's great!"

Iorran grinned his usual ear-to-ear grin as the man jumped into the sewer. He quickly stripped his half tunic and tunic and grabbed the chain mail hauberk and white tunic slip from his wardrobe. He threw the slip over his shoulders and the hauberk over it. It was then covered by the gray tunic and blue half tunic and tied with his braided leather belt. He then pulled an iron pauldron from his wardrobe and secured it with the attached belt across his chest. Finally, he finshed his battle gear with a dark green cloak draped over his shoulders.
The swordsman wouldn't be complete without his weapons, of course. From the side of his bed he took his blade in its scabbard and buckled it on his waist. On his belt he tied some pouches for supplies which included his pipe and pipe weed. Finally, he strapped the wooden round shield he took off one of the bandits in that Sacaean town on his back.
"Se ye on tha other side, lass." he spoke to the woman that was left in his home. For a moment, Iorran chuckled at having a woman in that run down shack for once. It was odd. He tended to get passes from women in town, but the swordsman never took them up on their offers. It wasn't that he wasn't attracted to them. Many were quite ravishing. It just felt like he would be doing something wrong by being with them. As if he already had a woman in his life, but didn't know it.
Ready to leave, he bid his home for the past month adieu and followed the rebel, now his comrade in arms, into the sewers. The giant landed with a large splash, sewage getting everywhere. The smell was horrible. It wasn't unbearable for him, Iorran had run into his fair share of foul smells, but he still wanted to get out as quickly as possible.
"If we keep goin' this way we should reach where it dumps inta tha lake outside." he said hurriedly, "And I suppose I should give ye me name, huh? Iorran, it is. Iorran Graymantle."

Ralph got fed up with waiting. If it was taking this long for whoever was in the city to escape, then they were more likely to get captured. As he walked away from the gate, the guard gave a short apology.
Without Caecus near him, Ralph was walking blindly, as one might expect. He had to be very careful of where he stepped, using a sword to show the path in front of his feet. His boot came down on a patch of water with a quiet splash. He took a step back and traced where he had just stepped with his sword. I don't recall it raining recently, is this some kind of lake?
Ralph sat down next to the lake, patting the ground around him for a small rock. Once he found one, he gave it a good toss across to see the length of this lake. Splish splish splosh. Well, it was indeed a lake and not a puddle he mistook for one. That would be embarrassing if anyone were around.
Well, guess I skipped out on my only chance to help Bern. Why even bother with this insane quest of Dave's... Ralph though to himself as he threw another rock. Splish splish splish splosh.

"Nice to meet you, Iorran Graymantle," said Saturos, nodding more jovially one should when standing in sewer water. "My name is Saturos Prox. I'd like to call myself a knight of Bern, but alas, I'm Etrurian." The myrmidon waved his hand. "I'd shake your hand, but, well, it's a bit dirty." He looked down at his palm. He wasn't sure weather what it was covered in was dirt or...well, he'd rather not say.
"We should get moving. I've got people waiting for me outside the front gate," said the myrmidon, unsheathing his sword half-way to check for gunk. Clean as a whistle. Excellent. He looked back at Iorran, starting into a slow, trudging gait through the water. "How far does this sewer go?"

"Dunno..." replied Iorran. He'd never had the chance to enter the sewers before. Mainly because he didn't want to. The entire reason he looked for the trap door in the first place was his own curiosity. Things like that tended to fascinate him. Ruins and relics and things lying beneath other things. Sure, the sewer wasn't a relic, but it was still something hidden by time and development of the town.
"But I do believe that we're just a few hundred paces from tha wall. If we head west toward tha lake then we should reach it soon." Iorran's words echoed in the mossy stone tunnel. He began to trudge behind Saturos. He wasn't sure if he had ever trudged before. It wasn't enjoyable. The sewage was thick and made movement difficult. Then a reprieve from their unpleasant predicament presented itself. A wide stone ledge that rose from the water and ran along the tunnel. It was dry and, save for a rat or two he saw scurry across, free of filth.
"I say we continue up there. Best we be keepin' this stench we're accumulatin' ta tha barest minimum, aye?" Iorran took a step on the ramp that plunged into the sewage and pulled himself out of the stuff using the bar of an iron grate as a handhold. He was stopped by what felt like something grabbing his ankle. Looking back, he noticed pair of shackles that had apparently wrapped around his leg and caught on a loose stone in the ramp. The giant wriggled his foot out and shook off the various bits of filth that clung to it. Finally on the ledge, he sighed as he watched the binds sink to the bottom.
"Tha things people throw down here. Perfectly good iron, that was." he said with a frown.

"Waste seems to be a plight of the modern man," replied Saturos, echoing Iorran's sentiments. "Life, liberty, property, you name it, people will find a way to throw it away." The teal haired myrmidon then felt a lump hit his leg, and upon lifting his foot out of the water, found that a dead rat had taken a seat upon his instep. "That being said, some things belong in the sewers. Yuck." He kicked the rodent out of the way, shuddering in disgust, before trudging through the sludge over to where Iorran had pulled himself up. Sure, it probably held less diseases than the poo he had stepped in earlier - no, wait, actually it was probably worse. What he wouldn't give for a patch of green grass right now. In the meantime, the stone would have to do.
"I rather like this idea better," commented Saturos as he hoisted himself up behind the red-haired man, shaking a bit of goop off of his boot. "Far less smelly." He nodded to his new companion. From all of the seven minutes Saturos had to analyze him, the man seemed trustworthy enough. He highly doubted the red-haired beast would be leading him into any traps. "Well then, show the way. After all, you know the layout of this city far better than I, even if we are in the sewers as it is."

The walk was short, but Iorran's need to leave the stench of the place behind made it feel like hours. Soon, though, the swordsmen approached a light that peered into the tunnel accompanied by fresh air that carried with it a pleasant scent. The smell of trees and grass and clean water. Though, judging by the smell of the sewers, he couldn't be sure how clean the water was. The closer they got, the more the fresh air made it easy to breathe again. Soon enough, large iron bars presented themselves at the end of the pipe with a large lake beyond.
Iorran was so glad to be out of the place, he jogged the rest of the way. He had almost missed the filtration system at the end. Just before the iron bars reached the waters' surface, a stone wall rose to meet them, pushing the water into a small entrance on the side of the trench. The giant ducked under a service doorway and looked at the opening on the other side to see water flowing down into the lake that was much cleaner than the water that went in. He was astounded by the device. What was it they did to the water in the diversion of the flow?
The swordsman didn't spend much time thinking of it. For now, he was more concerned about taking in the fresh air.
"So! Lead the way, aye?" he said to Saturos after taking a deep breath.

Syana trooped out of the muck after the men, shaking her boots to try to get some of the stuff off of it. "That was disgusting." She shook her head and punched Saturos in the arm again. "Seriously. Years of a being a merc without getting a scratch on me. Then in just the time I've known you, I've nearly been eaten by a wyvern, almost arrested, been on the run from the law and to top it all off, my best boots are now covered in crap!" She stomped at that, pouting slightly. "You are lucky you're so cute, Saturos Prox, or I'd kick your butt right now," she said in a whisper before tossing her hair out of her face and focusing her attention back to her now most likely destroyed boots.

Ralph was startled by voices suddenly coming from nearby. There were at least two, based on voices and footsteps. Possibly three or four. He leapt to his feet, and pulled out his thinner sword. [red]"Identify yourselves!"[/red] he yelled at them.
He slapped his inner self. Why did he go and do that? Was it because he wasn't expected people out here? Though, with his blindness, there was no reason he should trust anyone. Better to let them explain themselves first. [red]"Sorry if I'm a little on edge, but there's a loose rebellion soldier, it seems."[/red] he said to dispel any fears they might have of him attacking them immediately. He didn't put away his sword though, just in case they were guards from the city, those guys couldn't be trusted at all.

"Aye," replied Saturos, nodding his head as Syana approaching him from behind, punching him in the arm as she always did before she found reason to criticize his methods.
"Well if that's the case, I might as well capitalize on my dashing looks, Syana," said the myrmidon with a small wink towards his red haired companion. "After all, I rather like my butt intact." Syana really was quite the ninja, always managing to sneak up on him. Good thing she didn't have it out for him, like everyone else, or she would have had hundreds of opportunities to kill him by now. She clearly had the ability to do so.
"Identify yourselves!"
Upon hearing the shout, Saturos twirled around, only to see a smaller man wearing dark red glasses waving a sword at him. He was about to dissuade the man from attacking, as he didn't seem to be a soldier, but the man quickly recanted.
"Sorry if I'm a little on edge, but there's a loose rebellion soldier, it seems."
"Oh, I don't know of any rebellion soldier," replied Saturos, failing to hide a smirk as he shamelessly lied. Hopefully the man wouldn't see it. "But if I see him, I'll be sure to tell you. From what I hear, those nasty rebels can be quite fiendish if provoked. Wouldn't want you to get on the bad side of one."
The myrmidon then turned back to his companions. "Well I have to say, I'm quite done with soldiers and sewers. I say we get going, no?" He into a slow backwards jog. "Hopefully Aidan hasn't been waiting too long. Just try to keep up." With that, Saturos turned around and dashed off, motioning for the other two to follow, hugging the city wall so that sentries on top could spot him.
After running for a time, Saturos spotted a familiar, large armored man standing next to another large, armored man, and a smaller, much more lightly armored green cloaked man that the myrmidon hadn't seen before. Waving to the trio, Saturos called out.
"Ho there, travelers," he hailed jokingly, "what fine weather we're having!"

Iorran's hand shot to his blade's hilt as the stranger called out to them. He was ready to fight for the rebellion. After all, their purpose was to leave the city unseen and one man on the bank of a lake was easy to silence. However, Saturos' greeting suggested they weren't about to fight the man. The swordsman relaxed and followed the rebel as he approached the wall. It was both nerve wracking and a relief to be accompanying the two freedom fighters. He was certainly nervous of what might happen if he were caught. Iorran had made his choice and there was no way he could convince a prison warden that he was just playing around. Though at the same time he was enthralled to be there. It certainly beat his life in town keeping drunks in line while only able to drink in his lonely shack of a home.
Not much time passed before the three came upon another group of three. Saturos greeted them as nonchalantly as he did the man at the lake. Perhaps he was attempting to throw off possible captors again? The armor on them suggested they were soldiers, after all.

Surprise filled Ralph's face, that voice that had talked to him, it couldn't be, could it? Ralph had some difficulty pinpointing where he had heard that voice before, but if there was one thing his blindness had granted him, that was great vocal recognition. Faces were of course, nondistinguishable, but each voice had its own small quirks and pitches to certain letters. But they had already gone onwards.
Ralph quickly sheathed his sword and ran to catch up with them. [red]"Wait! Sir Saturos!"[/red] he called out, remembering the very brief time they were together what seemed so long ago. [red]"It's me, Ralph! I was with Sir Rayl when he traveled to Bern!"[/red]
With no leads on his objective and no allies in Bern, this was perhaps the only person he might get to even look his way.

Vince started out of a light daze as a familiar voice hailed them. It was Saturos, and there were soldiers right on his tail! Wait...They were moving much too slow to be engaged in a game of chase. Besides that, Saturos and the others were all smiling to some degree...Nevertheless, perhaps a pre cautious joke couldn't hurt.
"Did you bring the soldiers who chased you along? Who are these people?" Vince's jolly tone covered his concern nicely.

There he was, Aidan felt a wave of relief wash over him. He knew he'd turn up fine, but he couldn't deny that he was at least a little worried. Just a little. "Fine weather? A bit too dry for me, I'd love a good rain." He shrugged, and looked at Vincent sternly, not entirely sure he should of said what he just said. Especially with two unexplained new people with him, then again Aidan had an unexplained stowaway his self so it was a bit hypocritical to be suspicious. He wanted to play it cautiously, Aidan was too cautious at times to be quite honest, idiotically reckless at others. It came with being a leader. He never really thought his self as one, but it seemed that's the position he found his self in now.
Unless these new people were severely addled in the mind, they'd understand that they knew Saturos and he was running from guards for some reason. So it was far too late to try and cover it up and play dumb, might as well be straightforward about it. They were leaving now anyways, so they'll be out of the area if anyone tries to get guards. This forest was thick and hard to navigate, it would be hard for soldiers to catch them and aerial support is almost impossible with the canopy. It all leads to a very covered and thought out escape plan, which was the whole point. There was a reason they were meeting at the lake instead of, say, the middle of nowhere.
"This is Saturos. Saturos, this is Blasius. He helped us escape the soldiers at the gate." He nodded at the myrmidon. "I hope you're friends know what's going on, or there might be trouble." He added, whether it was a joke or not wasn't apparent since all of Aidan's jokes sounded deadly serious. This wasn't really a topic you should challenge though, and he hoped the two other folk at least had a semblance of knowing what was going on.
So this was everyone. Everyone but their archer friend. He was around though, Aidan caught a sight of him earlier in the forest, probably keeping a look out. Probably wanted to let Aidan deal with Blase and whoever Saturos was bringing along.
"Before we go any further, we need to make sure everyone understands just what is going on. I am not a man to leave others in the dark, I prefer honesty even if it's painful. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Aidan Lowell, of house Lowell."
