Blaise stood quietly near the two heavily armored men, with his head bowed and silent prayers running through his mind as they waited for the return of Aidan’s friend. It must have been a curious sight, seeing the small mage next to the two large men, but it wasn’t of much importance as long as no one questioned his motive. While he may have been sticking out in stature, Blaise only cared that he wasn’t entirely sticking out in action.
As the joking voice cut through the quiet, Blaise felt himself jump, his prayers quickly dissolving as he looked up to see a teal haired man approaching with a few others. Blaise looked from the approaching man to Aidan, and the relief on the knight’s features indeed proved that these were the people they had been waiting for. Thought there wouldn’t be so many, the Etrurian thought, though he quickly shook the thought away as Aidan introduced him to Saturos.
Blaise looked to the teal haired man and gave a swift nod. “I was glad I could help,” the mage said, wanting to speak up and say something after having been silent for so long. However, Blaise wasn’t sure it was his place to say much more as of yet, especially seeing as it seemed Aidan was preparing to speak to the other newcomers. Well, at least I won’t be the only new person with the group, Blaise thought, considering the few new people to be a blessing. Hopefully that would take any suspicious eyes off of him and spread them out among the others. Whatever the case would be, Blaise remained mute as he listened to Aidan introduce himself again; if the time came for Blaise to speak again, he would do so, but until then, his continued silent attentiveness would do.

Satisfied that Aidan had not run into much trouble, Saturos let his arms fall to his side, relaxing his shoulders as he did. They probably had a couple of good minutes before any soldiers tried searching outside the town do to futile efforts inside, which was just long enough to get everything in order.
The myrmidon nodded to the new man, apparently named Blasius, as Aidan introduced them to each other. "Glad to see we find friends even in places like these," he replied jovially, before turning his hands to his companions. The Eturian paused as Aidan began to speak, chiming in at the end as gruff soldier revealed his name.
"Yes, and for those of you who don't know, I am Saturos Prox," said Saturos with a slight bow of his head. "And this is Iorran. He helped me escape from the city using a tunnel in his home." Saturos paused, taking a breath, before continuing. "And this is...Ralph, did you say?" Turning his gaze to the blond man, Saturos cocked his head to the side. "Supposedly we met along with someone named Rayl. I don't remember a Rayl, do you, Aidan?" He tapped his finger to his chin. "Wait, Rayl was the big fancy knight we met outside of Castle Bern before we rescued you. You wouldn't know." The myrmidon shook his head. "Well, anyways, this is Ralph. Not sure if he's shady or not yet."

"Well met, everyone." Iorran spoke as he crossed his arms. It was odd how plain spoken Saturos was. He didn't seem to have a filter on what he said. Unless he was thinking things even worse than whether or not he had decided upon Ralph's disposition and that happened to be acceptable to say in comparison. The swordsman glanced at the painted man, pondering which it was.
However, the biggest thought weighing on Iorran's mind was how to act at the moment. He wasn't aware they had met up with Aidan already. He wasn't quite ready. Placing a hand on the pommel of his sword, he attempted to relax a bit. Didn't want to look uptight in his first meeting. His father always told him that first impressions are the most important. Though the odd thing being that he wasn't able to remember much else about his father. He'd noticed that a few anecdotes with fuzzy details presented themselves when he needed them, but he couldn't for the life of him remember what they were at the moment. All he knew is that his father gave him advice about first impressions. Iorran couldn't even remember the man's name. It was really beginning to worry the swordsman.
Still, Iorran was in front of his new "boss". The man's strong features pointed him out as a leader. Possibly even a bit haggard from his previous battles. He seemed lax enough, but the swordsman wasn't about to act friendly with him just yet.
"'Tis an honor, Mr. Aidan. I been hearin' much about ye 'round town. I hope I can be an asset." he said, a gloved and chainmail-clad arm emerging from his cloak in greeting.

"Actually, I've met Rayl and traveled with him once before myself. Though that was long ago, and a story for another day." It was a while ago, it felt so long ago now. Around the time he first entered Bern, but the time in prison had really messed with his perception of time. For a period of time to go by so quickly, but yet so agonizingly slowly was a wonder, but it was a contradiction that somehow remained true. He couldn't even give you a good estimate on how long it's been since he started his quest, all it did was make him confused to think about. So he simply didn't. He looked at the bespectacled lad, noted as Ralph by Saturos. He didn't seem to know much about whoever this young man was, in fact he seemed kinda of confused over him. It was enough to make the Knight raise his brow, he didn't even say anything for himself. Perhaps he was the timid type?
The other man, a ginger haired giant name Iorran stirred however, and Aidan shifted his attentions. He looked strong, not just his body but his posture and the way he carried his self. It is one thing to have strength, but another to be strong. It was too early to make such a judgment, especially since Aidan's judgment has been known to be wrong from time to time. Still, the man had strong character, it was easily visible, he was the kind of person who would stand out in a crown no matter how hard he tried to hide in it. A little nervous though, but that was easily understandable, and he seemed to be trying to relax. It's good to relax, since they're going to be stressed out to their ends in not too long.
"From what I hear, you've already been quite the asset. Thank you Iorran, for helping my comrades." It felt a little weird, the words that came out of his. Comrades. Yes, he could of easily said something like 'saving them' or 'my friends' but that wasn't quite... good enough. Anyone can be friends, and friends come and go like the breeze, but comrades, brothers in arms, that was something deeper. Something that isn't easily replaced, something that lasts a lifetime.
He looked at the two, then at Blase who was being quite quiet. He didn't speak much it seemed, it was as if he was nervous. Maybe what Aidan said before got to him, about how he was watching the man, or how dangerous this is. Somehow he doubted it was the latter, with how suicidal everyone on Elibe seemed to be. Or atleast the ones Aidan talks to.
It would be a good idea to keep an eye on all three of them, he trusts that Saturos and Syana will do the same. This is a dangerous mission, so he can't just turn aside ones who truly desire to help, but he shouldn't be blind and ignore the myriad of ways they could possibly mess everything up. Still there was one line he wasn't just going to drop.
"Ralph." He simply stated, his iron expression looking at the man in green. Blase and Iorran helped in the their escapes, and showed that they wanted to help with their actions. Ralph, however, hasn't even said a word. Saturos didn't even seem to know him. It felt like he was... just some person who saw people outside the city and got too close in checking it out. Though, according to Saturos, he apparently knew the teal haired swordsman. It felt like the man didn't even know what was going on. "Are you aware of what is happening? Did you consciously follow? Or did your curiosity get the better of you?" It was almost like what happened with Blase. He wanted to know why the man was here though, he wasn't about to drag along someone by accident simply because he was in the area. Who was this man anyways?

What had Ralph gotten himself into? Clearly, there was much going on here that he didn't realize. Even the leader of this group, Aidan he called himself, he probably figured it out already. Aidan was the leader of the rebels, wasn't he? Even a passing rumor from villages on the edge of Bern were easily accessible.
Why was he here? Not just following the first person whose voice he recognized, but actually in Bern? Sure, Dave had sent him on an insane quest as a means to return his sight, but wasn't there a real reason to be here?
[red]"Sir Aidan. I was born in Bern. Much of my memory from so long ago is gone, but I remember one thing. I wanted to be a knight of Bern my entire life. My home is in Lycia now, but I have felt like I never helped my home country enough. So please! Let me help you! I know that what you guys are doing is for the better of Bern."[/red]
He had finally gained the courage to return to Bern only recently. This was the next step. Helping Bern for real, a dream since he was a little boy.
This was the point of no return.

Born in Bern, living in Lycia, he couldn't say it was an unfamiliar story. This young man wasn't alone in that, alone in the desire of wanting to help a land, a home you thought you had left behind. Two years ago, he would of never imagine returning to Bern, let alone getting caught up in the politics like he found his self in. "I can understand the drive." He replied simply, nodding his head. There was more he could say, there was more he wanted to say, but this was not the time or place. He waved his hand over to the man hiding in the trees to beckon him over.
"We should hurry, it will not be long until they start looking around here as well. If you're all certain of your decision, come." The archery came up beside him.
"This everyone? You just make friends easy don't you?" The man grimaced, but didn't make an issue of it. He probably wasn't the most supporting of picking up complete strangers as he traveled, and that's a good policy most of the time. Aidan couldn't be picky though, even if he could he'd probably let them come anyways, he was simply far too trusting at times. "There's no one coming as far as I could see, so let's hurry before that changes. Follow me." Without waiting for them to reply, he began to walk forward.
