there is a penalty for back attacks, but it's such a non-factor that it may as well not even be there. although i can't really say that i missed back attacks.

DBZA got me on a bit of a DBZ search, and I came across this: Much luls were had. ...*insta save to computer* This is win. XD Anyways, the Tales series is one of my absolute favorite games ever. I've played quite a lot of them (Abyss and Graces f being my two favorites). I gain tons of fun and character inspiration from them as well. Graces won instantly for second place in my book. I simply like Abyss more because it was basically an improved Symphonia (which follows up to my third favorite).

No Phantasia?
It was my first, and to spite Abyss being a good game (Still playing it, albeit slowly), it will likely always be my favorite.

"Feel the pain...of those inferior beings...as you burn in hell!"
I had to do it. Couldn't resist.
Technically, Eternia (PS version) was my very first Tales game, but Symphonia was the first one that I owned. Eternia belonged to my brother, who then gave it to me when I was in 9th grade when he stopped playing games. I played them both around the same time though. I then played Abyss a year later. Symphonia stayed my favorite until I replayed Abyss a few years after beating it and compared the two to see which I liked better.
I played Phantasia sometime in between. I have yet to actually beat it (Because I'm lazy and has been holding it off forever), but I think once I FINALLY pick back up on it, I'll fall in love with it. That kind of stuff always happen. =P

The manga showed that scene the best, you were able to see the anger in Kratos eyes when he told him not to speak ill of the dead, then when he killed him.
I wish my ps3 was backwards compatable so I could finish Legendia. I've been slowly playing abyss as well, then phantasia I forgot where I left off and I really don't wanna restart.
Also Tuesday Tales of Vesperia: First Strike(OVA that takes place before the game) comes out
