Appearance: Although not the broadest figure around, his muscles are lean and strong, looking more fit on a mercenary. he stands at a even 6'3 foot and not done growing. he is generally good looking attracting most girls around his age being well tanned from being outside a lot ,and with his unnatural gold eyes.
personality: generally quick minded he always tries to see things in the most logical fashion. in fights he prefers to try to talk the opponent to his side or to join theirs if he is alone he will always try to be on the winning team but he will always stand up for what he believes in even if it means losing. he can also be quite chivalrous
Clothes:he wears light leather armor under a dark gray robe embroidered with gold along the edge, given to him by his parents before he left. he also wears a golden cross, given to him by his family, under his robe.
Born in**:Etruria at his family's manor east of Delfia
Story***: Edrick was born into a family of light magic users as the youngest of 4, both his parents are both archbishops, famous for their preachings throughout Etruria. his whole family is famous for their skill with magic, especially light magic. they are also one of the oldest houses in Etruria.
He originally wanted to be a sword wielder so he was training the part. Then his family found out he was training to wield a physical weapon, they made him promise that he would use magic and not melee weapons because they were talented with magic, and everyone in the family has always majored in magic. Hating to break a promise,he agreed but they did not specify at the time so, mad at the time, he decided to spite them so he started to learn the elder magics. At first he studied in secret knowing his family would disapprove. Once they found out his family was outraged because it would destroy their family reputation.
But secretly both of his parents encouraged his choice because they cared for him more than their family name, though they hid it from everyone else so that only Edrick knew. Not even the other parent knew. So they both hired a tutor for him, without knowing the other did, before the family meeting to decide what to do with Edrick.
With 2 tutors the extra teachings allowed him to learn all the basics in the month before the meeting. Then at the meeting the family decide to banish him from the family because his dark magic would be bad for their family name. Before he was sent off his mom and his dad came to him separately and told him that they supported him but they could not let anyone know because of their position and they might get banished too, and that if he ever needed any help to just come back and ask and they would help in anyway possible. so now Edrick is traveling around Elibe working as a mercenary trying to make a name for himself.
