Class: Mage --> Sage
Hair color: Dark teal
Eye color: Brown
Age: 37
Appearance:
Though somewhat aged, Aldaril is by no means senile. In fact, he’s still fairly youthful in appearance, and rather handsome, as some would say. His thin and wiry stature makes him surprisingly limber, although he doesn’t need to move much, owing to the fact that he’s a mage. At times, he appears to have a passive or vacant expression on his face, but this is mostly due to the fact that he’s easily prone to distraction.
Clothes: The mug tells all. Blue robes, reddish-crimson trim, black satchel attached.
Born in: Etruria
Story: Born into a middle-class family of scholars with one sister and two brothers, Aldaril was the eldest child. He grew up relatively peacefully, although he sometimes felt like a liability to his family. While his siblings’ magical abilities developed rather early in their development, his did not even begin to develop until the age of seventeen. By then, he was relieved; over time, he had been ridiculed and made fun of by his peers due to the fact that his family treated their magical flair almost like noble blood.
This puzzled Aldaril, although he didn’t question it. He continued his studies, although his magical abilities were sloppy at best, even when he was well into his twenties. Dejected, he elected to move away from his budding family (his baby sister had been born when he was seventeen, and was still growing at this point), and attempted to study the arcane arts on his own.
In order to cope with his shortcomings, Aldaril took to reading books out of pleasure, and subsequently became enthralled with what they had to offer. Nations, even worlds, were created in mere novels. This in turn motivated the young man to see what Elibe truly had to offer. Eventually, he began to attempt writing on his own in conjunction with attempting to hone his magical skills.
Although magic was an extremely difficult art form for him to grasp initially, Aldaril finally mastered a few basic aspects of it several years later. He can now defend himself with the practice adequately enough,with fewer errors. His love of literature hasn’t diminished, either. Presently,he’s in the process of penning (quilling, in this context) a novel of his own. If it manages to become published, others may see the scenarios he has concocted within the book.
