Jya took a deep breath in, enjoying the musk of a thriving town. She was tired alright, but it was always safer to be active in the daytime than at night. Nobody expected her to be out in the open and it worked far better that way. Than again nobody expected her to jump in the middle of an arena and try to murder someone. Good thing people had their misconceptions about assassins. Well there was a good reason assassins worked at night as well. It helped that she wore a darker set of wear than her usual green clothing. She still had them, but only wore them when she traveled the grasslands and forests as a means of staying hidden.
On one hand Jya considered retiring from the so called assassin role. However she didn't even know she started. It seemed as though if she was to retire it would mean giving up on life. She had no choice but to continue struggling. She did what it took to survive, that just happens to mean killing others.
She checked her pockets for money but found little to none. Aren't assassins supposed to be loaded? For a normal one perhaps, but she was never paid in monetary gains. She was always thankful for her friends and her survive whatever mess she ended up getting into. So she was dirt broke, but that meant very little. A thriving town such as this one was perfect for loading her pockets.
A thief stays a thief no matter how much they kill. At least this was true for Jya. It had become easier in a way, her fingers remaining as deft as ever. Even as the man moved out of her reach, she already had a nice new shiny piece of gold. She rolled the coin between her knuckles playfully. She was never too greedy, snatching a coin here and there. Her policy was to take only as much as need, which wasn't much. Being a thief was definitely a more well paying job than an assassin.
"Thief!" a voice called out some distance away. As she turned it was obvious that it wasn't towards her. A bit curious, she tucked the coin in her pockets and peered across the crowd. It was definitely not someone she stole from. She wondered what was stolen in the first place.

Tuatara ran through the crowd, cape fluttering behind him as he wove his way past people. He had done it again, not even realizing it until the man began to call out. He fingered the dull fork in his hand. It's not like he even needs the bloody thing. He shrugged and flung the thing over his shoulder as he scanned the crowd for an escape route. Several plans ran through his mind before he grabbed a random one that sent him hurdling slipping past several people, some who cursed when they were bumped.
I wonder where Aeros is, Tuatara thought to himself. Since the attack on the arena lots of stuff had happened but he had still yet to find his friend. You'd think it'd be hard to lose- another cry brought him from his thoughts. He rolled his eyes and slipped between two people only to find some woman-girl in his way.
"Holy liz-" Tuatara began before barreling into the dark clothed individual. "Harumph." He found himself sprawled on his back, the sounds of clanking pots rolling to a stand still. With a quick jerk he was sat up and shook his head, making it an orange and black blur. The faded black parts caused by Marcus' dying breath were still there. And then he saw all the cookware and shiny objects lying around him, including his fat gold bag. It was mostly junk but he was sure people would grumble- he began to hear people murmuring and several "Hey that's mine!" 's.
"Excuse me," Tuatara said to the lady who seemed slightly familiar. He didn't bother looking at her too long, he was all to familiar with the looks of lynch mobs. With a quick sweep of his cape he was on his feet and headed in a random direction of gone, gold bag in hand and several things he didn't mean to grab.

Freedom finally sweet freedom, Orcleous had finally escaped from Bern and the nobleman who he owed his life, or at least six battles. He wanted nothing to do with the war, and in truth he only desired to farm, but that life ended when his parents were forced to send him off the farm. Orcleous however had nothing to do with himself.
"Thief", word rang out over the crowd and Orcleous heart immediately sank. He looked up to see everyone’s attention turned on some other man. It was a well relief for Orcleous as he was sure that Wales and his men had found him.
“Stop him”, the words came in Orcleous direction. As the young novice looked up he saw a man in the air. A shock expression soon crossed his face as he watched as the man spilled his pilfered goods all over the ground. A woman next to him shrieked as something that once belonged to her was scene on the ground.
“Excuse me”, spoke the man as he dashed off. “Was that a thief”, spoke Orcleous out loud. Back on the farm he had never ran into thieves. Most people who performed crimes were burglars. They simply walked up to you and took what you had. They had no stealth behind it, nor did they run. They usually intimidated their way into your coin purse.

A young girl barreled through the crowd in another part of town with her own escape route in mind. The town had so many things to grab in it, so how did people notice so quickly? It wasn't like she had taken more than a couple bags of gold! You got to pay for your meals somehow, after all. She looked behind her as the crowd of people closed up once more. Were they gone? Yes!! "Another success, I'm on a roll this week!" she whispered to no one in particular. She had heard a few days ago in another town that someone had spotted the Green Wraith roaming around down here in Lycia. However unorthodox it was, the novice thief had been roaming around looking for the Wraith. No such luck today, she'd just stick around for a few more days since this place was loaded for a trade center. And she blended in with her patchwork cloak and hair obscuring most of her face like all of the other homeless folk around town.
She plopped down on a barrel next to a vacant stand to think. The Wraith likely wouldn't be wearing green, since that would be too obvious in a place like this where the primary colors of clothes were much duller. She had...black hair for certain. Couldn't make out the eyes, but they glinted blue-ish...And the way she slash the knife. One fluid motion, that was all it took for the assassin to fell the pegasus knight. Jule still hadn't heard if the knight was okay or not, but that could wait until after she found the wraith. Who cared if there were a load of glaring flaws in her plan? She'd figure things out when she got there, like she always did.
Jule got off the barrel after that little self-conference, feeling a bit more determined to find the black-haired woman. She took off down the streets going to see if there was anyone else's wallets, ripe for the picking. Rounding one corner, then another, she- "Oouch!" Jule had run smack into some crazy orange-haired guy! Or rather, he ran into her. Stuff went flying every which way off of him, including a very full-looking pouch. Is that gold? I hope he won't mind if I disappear with it......Okay, you can do this, she thought. Just remember what you've taught yourself. "Oh gods, oh gods, I'm so sorry! Here, let me help you with that!" the thief cried out as she bended over to pick up his things. It was only half acting on her part, it really did make her feel bad running into some poor guy who also ran into her. Now or never... Jule snatched the big bag and legged it past him, dropping the rest of his stuff. From the look of the man he could probably, no, definitely outrun her, so she needed to find a way to try to outmaneuver him through the crowd while she took off.

“A thief just stole from another thief”, spoke Orcleous out loud. It was all so exiting to him. It was the first time he had ever seen an actual thief and now he saw a thief steal from another one who was stealing from someone else. He could hardly believe what his eyes were telling him. A small since of envy rose up in the young man’s heart as he watched the game of guile and stealth.
“Maybe a little”, murmured the young man to himself. As the words left his mouth his mind drifted back to Bern. He remembered robbing that battle field and being thrown into prison and being forced to fight. Still there was a great temptation. In his stomach a great admiration for the skill and the speed. He wanted to try his own hand at it even though he knew the consequences.
As everyone attention turned toward the thief and the thief robbing thief the young lad slipped his hand into a nearby stand and pulled out an apple. His heart was pounding greatly as he stuffed the ill-gotten fruit into his traveling bag. He looked around like crazy checking to see if anyone noticed. All eyes were on the commotion and the young lad began to walk away. His walk however was a bit stiff as fear filled his heart.
“Thief”, the word rang over the crowd again. The sound came from behind the young lad. Orcleous turned to see the woman running the stall staring at what seemed to him as directly at him. “Someone stole some of my apples”, shouted the woman. Orcleous breathe a sigh of relief. He was not caught. His heart however was still pounding and a feeling of great excitement ran over his body.
So this was stealing thought Orcleous as he walked into the crowd of people. He pulled out his stolen goods and took a great bite out of the apple. “Taste good”, spoke the Lad as he bumped into a black haired woman. “Sorry” spoke the lad as he looked up to see who it was.

As Jya was bumped into the young man with the orange hair, she sprang into action. Well she discreetly grabbed something of the man's bounty. She was hoping to get a few pieces of coins but instead she held a dagger in hand. A good weapon can save their life and she feared she might have stolen just that. She had no intention of taking the man's life. In some ways she found that insulting to her profession.
Before she could do anything though, the man already ran on. Somehow he ended up getting stolen by another thief. As she moved, she was bumped into by another man. At this point she was tired of being a cushion. So her eyes flashed dangerously, spilling out some pent up killing intent. However realizing her mistake, she ran. She practically jumped on top of a building's roof.
"Hey girl, guards incoming, head left into the alley," she practically ordered the girl thief. Than she turned towards the man and gave some more.
"Run, get around the next building, more guards coming!" With everything said and done, she dove down the sides of the building and began to slide down, landing on the opposite side. She grappled to the edges before landing on the ground with a thud. She began to make a run in hopes of meeting with the man again.

He shook his head, quickly this time, to clear his vision. And it was another woman, though she seemed young and looked to be a street urchin. He'd help them steal but since his father was a merchant he never needed anything, so he'd always give whatever to them. He wondered how they're doin-

Where'd she go?! Tuatara thought, trying to catch sight of the thief. He searched the crowd, looking for various routes she could of taken. Where'd she- Ha! He caught sight of her and made a move in her direction. You can't hide from m-

As Orcleous looked up he was met with a murderous glare. A cold chill ran down the novice spine as the woman suddenly bolted off. She jumped higher than Orcleous had ever seen. She landed on the roof of a building and began to run off.
“Cool”, spoke Orcleous as he stared at the woman running. He envied her movement, her speed, and her over all agility. “I want to be able to do that”, spoke Orcleous. Before he even knew it he was off chasing after the woman. He not as agile nor was he as fast, but the young boy followed with everything he had. His blood began to pump and his excitement had reached its peak. Orcleous decided that he wanted to learn. Orcleous wanted to become a thief and he was not going to miss this chance.

In one fluid motion, a girl she had run past had seemingly leaped up and landed with a light "tap" on the roof of a nearby building. It was an amazing sight to see, was she a thief as well, or something even more? Jule couldn't see her face very clearly, but her skin was nearly white as snow, which contrasted with that black hair of hers.
Jule stopped dead in her tracks to watch what she would do next when the other girl basically commanded her to run into an alley. It wasn't like it was a bad idea, and she could already see the guards pushing through the waning crowd, in their mismatched leather armor and iron helmets. She also ordered the man into the alley with her...aw, would she have to give him the bag back? It clinked with something with every step she took as she legged it into the corridor and was quickly swallowed by the shadows. She came to a halt behind the huge deposits of trash and other rancid things to catch her breath. Not even she could keep up running for so long, but the threat of both the other thief and the soldiers spurred her into action. Who was the other girl, though? She certainly wasn't someone she knew, and she'd seen plenty of people with black hair like that and mud-colored clothes before. It was no surprise she hadn't seen the one with the orange-hair before. The black streaks in his orange hair and smell of lightning clinging to him would be a dead-ringer.
Her heart slowly lowered itself out of her neck to its normal pace and stopped making a noise everyone could hear for miles. Wait, why had she even gone into the alley instead of where the man had gone? Maybe she just thought that Jule was too weak or something or other. Without a sound, she tiptoed through the trash, and climbed up the dead end's cracked and busted bricks, leaping on to the roof of the building the girl had been on not five minutes ago. Curiosity got the best of her as she slid down the other side and looked down on the streets below where only a moderately keen eye could be able to see her. Curiosity killed the cat, but the cat still had eight lives left, right?

Jya could have travelled through the rooftops to get to her next location but she chose to weave through the streets. Although rare, people tend to look up. She had practically exposed herself when she gave out the orders. To make up for it, she took the back way around the buildings.
She just hoped to make it in time to give back the dagger. Luckily she saw him as she made a turn into the opposite end of the building. She waved to indicate who she was. She even took the dagger out to show what she had took.
"You dropped this," she lied, offering the weapon back to him. However it was still a dire situation, they needed to get away from here. Sure enough, one of the faster guards had made it to the scene.
"You know we don't take kindly to thieves around here," he stated, pointing his lance at them.
"Let's go," she said, practically pushing him he had came in from. This alley didn't have a particularly good place to hide a body and there was too much attention on them.

Tuatara came hurdling around the corner, grinning like a madman. Now this is more like it he thought. The whole point of leaving Richter and Clair for a bit was to better his skills. Sure Richter had given him some pointers for fighting and he may or may not of promised Clair not to steal anything, but hey, what was he supposed to do? Thieving and sneaking was his job. And so he had decided he was going to get better at it so he could help them. At least that's how he saw it. Richter and Clair couldn't always save him and he wasn't magically going to get better at fighting. Might as well hone his other skills while he was at it. He wouldn't be useless.
"Hey I know-" Tuatara began as he trotted up to the woman beckoning. He was stopped by the sight of his dagger. "Sure I did," he replied sarcastically, swiping it out of her hand. "And you just happen to be the one to pick it up." He shoved it into the empty sheath with a click. "And don't I know you fro-"
"You know we don't take kindly to thieves around here," a random guard said. Tuatara frowned but immediately took position, dagger and a grin.
"And they do elsewhere?" He quipped. Guards were his favorite part. Except ones like Captain Saint, he seemed to take the fun out of things. "What's that-" His distraction was interrupted by the woman-girl pushing him back the way he had come. "Stop, I'm not done antagonizing the guard!" He attempted to escape but she seemed intent on retreating. "This isn't over!" He called back to the guard as they rounded the corner. "There better be more guards over here."

“Man she is fast”, spoke Orcleous as he attempted to keep up with the woman on the roof. He was running as fast as he cold and she was still leaving him behind. Luckily for him she jumped from the roof and seemed to be moving on the ground. “Come on Orcleous”, spoke the boy to himself as he speed up. As he ran he found himself amongst a group of guards chasing after the thieves. Quickly the boy jetted by them and caused a bit of confusion amongst the guards.
“Who the kid”, spoke one guard. “Is that the thief”, spoke Another. “No the thief is a woman”. “Wait I thought it was a man.”
Orcleous soon found himself near the alley were the woman had jumped into. There was only one person in front of him and that was a guard who was surprisingly fast on his feet. “We don’t take kindly to thieves”, spoke the guard.
“There she is”, spoke Orcleous as he saw the woman take off again. This time however she was with an orange hair man who was the thief that got stolen from by the female thief. It was all a bit confusing for Orcleous, but it was exciting and new. He had never felt such a rush as he did today. He wanted to learn how to jump onto buildings and pull things out of people’s pockets. He wanted to become what they were, but in truth did not know how. In his mind the only way to learn these skills were to learn from someone who already knew it. That or be thrown in jail a few times for failing. “Sorry about this”, shouted Orcleous as he rushed toward the guard.
“What”, spoke the man as Orcleous rammed into his back and knocked the man over? He did not waste a moment before sprinting after the woman again. The guard screamed a few curses, but Orcleous was to far gone to hear him.

She wasn't sure why, but a dark-skinned boy toppled the guard chasing after the girl and the man with the orange hair. The boy also ran after them. Today was just all sorts of odd, she guessed. She picked herself off of the rooftop and wiped some of the chimney soot and grime off of her arms. There weren't as many guards as she thought there was previously. About six or so, not counting the one that was blacked out on the pavement. Jule looked again the boy rounded the corner and disappeared as well. Jule looked at the slanted roof in front of her, like it was almost beckoning her to its alluring red-brown mud brickness. Only now did she realize she was on top of a two-story house. There was no way she could jump across to the other side, sadly. There were a couple of flimsy clotheslines to climb across to, though! With such a small constitution, Jule would definitely be able to shimmy across. She grabbed hold of the one on the right, and making sure it could hold her with a small tug of both, she leapt down and began to climb her way to the other side. Right, left, right, left, righ--
the cable snapped in her hand with an audible "crack!" It wasn't all that loud, but the young thief felt like it could be heard for miles around as she plummeted to the other side. The cable picked up momentum as she swung forwards, like a grappling hook, and instead of denting her forehead into the wall like she should've, the wall caved in with her as she rolled through, still banging her head on the it before it opened up. Yellow and black spots danced around her eyes as she stumbled through the first floor of some unfortunate carpenter's home. Someone yelled out something from up above, and stomped down the stairs as she looked for an exit. Her mind yelled head for the door but her body ran to the adjacent window looking down on the street the man with the orange hair and the woman with the black hair had ran into. A man charged at her from the stairwell, yelling something about his wall at her. The world was still a little tilted as she climbed out of the window into the street below. Or rather, fell out of the window. She landed on something gross and covered in wood shavings, probably the garbage from the house. She sat there for a few moments (or was it a few years?) and regained her bearings. Jule didn't see the two in the street, but she did spy a guard running down the street in front of her after something. She plucked the broken short sword she called a knife from her belt and took off, easily catching up to the soldier in the grey armor. He turned around just as she bashed him on the head with the hilt of the sword, not knocking him out by far, but dazing him for a few seconds. Without any forethought, she charged past him and around the corner where the pair should've gone into.

Jya mumbled something about trying to control herself, but it looked like she was bound to have to put up a fight. What was with all the thieves in one day? She didn't take the town to be so troublesome at first thought. However not everything is what it seems and trouble seem to follow her regardless. Why was it so hard to make a (more) honest living. No matter, she could not make a mistake.
"Stop!" one of the soldiers called out. If Jya had a piece of gold for every time someone ordered that, she wouldn't need to be stealing to supply her needs. Luckily he seemed alone in his act of justice, so it was easy enough to take him down, even though he tried to block out the exit. With a quick dart and a few steps on the side of the building, she pushed off and kneed the unsuspecting man on the face. With no time to spare, she half jumped and half ran into the next alley.
They needed somewhere to hide, but she wasn't familiar with the place to do so. However it seemed as though this was the best they could do for a small break as the yells seem to become more distant. It wasn't like they robbed the largest jewel in the world.
"My name is Jya," she said letting out a few huffs of air.
"Got any place to hide?" she asked, taking in what she can for the moment.

It seemed like forever, but the young novice had actually managed to catch up. He turned the corner to see the woman and the orange hair man talking to each other. He knew he had only a second before they would disappear again. What he said would have to count.
“Train me”, he shouted as loud as he could hope to grab the duo attention. Mainly the woman with the black hair and deadly glare.
