Name: Oya

Eye Color: Light Blue
Age: 16

Born in: Western Iles
Story: Oya is one of three triplets born unto Farkus, Butorega’s uncle, and a female pirate captain named Nya. The two meet each other off the coast of Bern and fell in love. When Nya had her triplets Farkus asked for her to retire from piracy, but the sea maiden refused. This sparked and argument between the two that was never resolved. Farkus meet his end in a battle before the two could reconcile. Nya never forgave herself for the harsh things she said to him before he left. Still however she had three kids to take care of. The fierce sea mom however still did not want to retire from her sailing days, and thus she brought her children onto her ship. Oya and his two brothers Troy and Farkus the second grew up around pirates and sailed on their mother’s ship the “Black Ghost”.
As soon as the three boys could walk they were trained as sea men. There was no room on the boat for extras. All three learned to navigate the sea and how to fight with the axe. Farkus and Troy grew up strong like their father. The fought like sailors and spoke like pirates. They were the pride of their mother. Strong, reliable, and manly that was the three words that were most used about them. Oya however was different. Oya was not strong like his brothers. Nor was he manly. As a matter of fact Oya was mistaken for a girl at one point. Many of the sailors referred to him as little missy rather than lad.
Oya took after his mother, not in attitude, but rather in looks. He was feminine and looked like a girl. His body was slender and muscle came hard to him. When others gambled and fought Oya read and studied. He always had a thing for magic, but dared not mention it to his mother. Magic was for the weak, and Oya did not want to seem weak. So Oya learned the way of the axe along with his brothers however his fighting style was different. When Farkus and Troy fought they relied on their power to gain victory. Oya, who was much weaker, relied on his technique and skill to bring him victory. Oya girly appearance made him the butt monkey of the crew. The boy grew up hard, and in response he became hard. Oya became very vindictive. He would do things to get people back who made fun of him and use the knowledge he gained from his reading to his advantage. One incident Oya poisoned a portion of the crew with deadly poison. He then made them bow and beg for forgiveness before giving them the antidote. His mother never even found out. The lad learned to uses the weapons that were given to him. He learned that knowledge was the greatest weapon of all and mad great strives to gain more.
When Oya was 12 his mother took him and his brothers to visit their grandfather. It was the first time they had meet the man, and there cousins Butorega and Yashi. The meeting was short, but the young lad had got a taste of Bern. All he really known up to that time was the sea. Oya had a strong drive to return to the main land and after four years his mother gave him permission to leave the crew. Oya left the sea behind and headed to the main land. His mind thirsty for knowledge and for blood.
