Rogus would stroll through the crowds of the Lycian city, his vigilant eyes keeping a nobly dressed man in his sight. Pushing his way through a few bothersome townsfolk, he'd reach his mark. Using the hustle and bustle of the townsfolk as a ruse, he'd clumsily bump into the man, using his iron dagger to cleanly cut his mark's purse.
"Watch where you're going!" the well-dressed man scolded, continuing on his way without waiting for a response. Rogus acted embarrassed for the townsfolk who saw the scene. He gripped tightly to the light coin-purse, disapointed, and muttered to himself as he walked away toward a tavern unhindered.
"Looks like you dropped this, good fellow... I'll hold on to it for you."

Ingrid was sitting alone in the tavern, fixed in her own thoughts about what she done. She ran away from her tribe in Sacae looking her own way of the sword and all that she had found was an empty stomach and an empty wallet. She sighed at the sad looks of a lame bowl with what pretend to be soup (boy does she likes soup) and wondering just how was she gonna pay for it.- Maybe i'll chop wood or wash the dishes or something of the sort...- she mumbled hopelessly to herself.

Rogus pushed through the door to the tavern, his cloak flowing behind him, noticing it was rather empty save for a few drunks and a young girl. He threw the stolen purse in the air, catching it as it fell back down as he sauntered over to the bar.
"Get me a tankard of mead." He'd order to the bored looking bar-keep. He'd take a seat at the bar and glance over to the girl. He'd let out a slight snicker at the pitiful look she gave the bowl in front of her. He would turn back again to the bar-keep to receive his drink, then emptying out the purse to count its contents.

Ingrid turned at the guy that walked in as if he owned the place. Was he really going to drink all that mead?. She grabbed her sad bowl of boiled water and sat next to him?. Want some? it's so much i think i won't finish it on my own...- She said that obviously making fun of her situation tho her eyes did looked sort of sad about it.

Rogus, noticing the child's clothing would snicker at the sight of a proud sacaen poking fun at her own situation. Taking a sip of his tankard, he'd pick a coin off the neat pile he'd made.
"That's dish-water, scamp." He'd grin wildly.
"I appreciate your kind gesture, Sacaen," Rogus took another sip from his mead, "But i like my soup that is actually soup." Flipping the coin he had picked off the pile into the air as if it were a game, making sure she saw the gold. He flaunted his stolen wealth to entice her to ask for his charity. He'd wait for the reply, continuing to flip his coin.

Ingrid stared at the coin for an instant.- so what are you celebrating so expensively?.- she asked while taking a seep from her bowl of boiled water. she really didn't minded being called scamp, she was to some extent but the attitude of the guy had some space for improvement.

"Another day as a free man, of course." He'd chuckle, setting the tankard down, and gathering the gold back into the stolen purse, "Don't Sacaens enjoy the freedom of the plains? Well, I enjoy my freedom to drink."
He'd keep one coin in his hand, flipping it between his fingers while watching the girl drink boiled water from a bowl. ~Savages~ Rogus thought, the word his father had used when speaking of the plains-folk, watching this display seemed to give credit to the stereotype. His lack of interest in her plight growing by the second, he decided to set some bait for her to take.
"A pretty young plains-girl like yourself need not eat like a bandit, you know." As he said this he'd flick the coin again, drawing attention to it, hoping that this time she would be tempted to ask for his help.

I would had a better meal if i had the means.- she replied sorely.- Do you pity me?.- Her eyes where fixed on the man's eyes, she was trying to figure out where was he going with this chat.

His blank expression changed to a wicked grin in an instant.
"I'll be happy to buy you a meal, even a drink." He'd wink, tossing her the coin.
"All I ask in return is a simple favor." He'd note that their hair coloring was nearly identical, close enough to pass them off as relatives, if not siblings. All that remained in the way of the plot brewing in his head were her sacaen clothing. He'd account for that, remembering the clothes lines hanging behind houses within the city, he'd be sure to "gather" the items he'd need from them. The plan in his head was nearly set, all that required was her consent to a small degree, and knowing that Sacaens are an honorable breed she'd have to accept according to his knowledge of the people. ~I'll tell her a lie anyway. She won't interfere too much.~
"What do you say? I promise, its nothing too difficult." His voice would soften, becoming almost fragile as if he needed her to say yes. Of course, this was an act, but he'd seem sincere enough.

She hesitated for a moment before answering.-Are we talking about mercenary work?- Most any kind of work would do right now. being this hungry would push her to most anything.

Renly walked trough the dark alleys of the city, going to the back door of the local tavern as he sneaked into the tavern, making his way to an empty table as he ignored the few curious looks from the drunkards. SLowly their gazes averted as Renly then opened his dark purple book, beginning to read it as he murmurred to himself. He had read the book thousands of times, but he always longed to read it one more time, just to hone his skills.

"No, no... Nothing as barbaric as that!" He'd change his expression to that of a more serious nature, "All you must do is play a role for me. You see..." He'd sigh, burying his face into his hand, his act must play out perfectly.
"The woman i love is to be wed on the morrow to a lord, in the chapel of this very city." He'd make sure she was following along before continuing, "The noble will be sure to bar my access to the ceremony, and the only way to actually be within the chapel before the wedding is to spend the night there..." He'd give a short pause, and looked back at the girl.
"They won't allow one such as myself to stay the night, i don't have the right look, but if i had another with me... Say my poor, ill baby sister perhaps. I'd be able to stay the night."
He'd notice the robed man enter the tavern from the corner of his eye, wishing he had been talking in a lower voice, as the newcomer likely heard every word. Even so, he thought that the man wore robes akin to that of a practitioner of ancient magics, and thus was not worried that he had any affiliation to the city's chapel.

Ingrid kept quiet for a moment. He calling mercenary work "barbaric" seemed true to a certain point, but she couldn't help to feel that he was calling her the barbarian, plus, even if it seemed to be a fair cause it would force her to lie.- That would be lying, and we Sacaens don't lie, can we find another way?.

"You need not lie at all..." He'd reply with an airy tone, "In fact, I'll be doing all the lying. All you have to do is act sick."
He kept his irritation to himself, does she not want a hot meal? Inwardly he'd fume, his impatience building. Outwardly, however, he'd keep the sincerity plastered on his expression.
"However... If you insist on finding another way, I am all ears. I'm rather desperate..." He'd feign sincerity once more, lowering his eyes and closing them.

Ingrid looked down to her plate meditating, trying to come up with a plan but nothing clever came to her mind.-maybe you could disguise and sneak in while i distract them, then i wouldn't had to lie and you would be able to enter, right?.
