Name:Azia
Class: Archer
Age: 17
Born in: The Western Isles
Appearance: She is a bit short for her age, being about 5'3ft and 141 lbs. She is purplish hair tied together and dark skin. She tends to wear a shirt made out red silk, but she's got multiple colors of this as silk was cheap and it's works well for camouflaging. Although, she wear brown leather pants which makes it easier to move in. She also carries a cloak that she designed to work like a bag an arrow carry case.
Personality: She tends to act playful, but sometimes it may sometimes come as rude. She is straight forward and it quite shows in her archery skill as she is very aggressive with her aim and fire, meaning she tends to mentality time herself to improve her skill. Even though her deeds are rather looked as scornful, she sticks by a unique moral code and prefers to not injure another human without reason. Spending a chunk of her time with pirates did have her somewhat develop the lingo, but for the most part she talks formally as her mother taught her to.
Story: Is a talent a gift? Or a curse? For Azia, she doesn't know her which one define her talent. She was rather born with a keen eye in observation. It wasn't really known. At least, not until that faithful day. Around when she was 13, multiple small towns were having feuds with other small towns; hiring pirate crews to defend for them. The pirates took advantage of that trust and sometimes looted the towns they were defending. One day, Azia unfortunately caught a glimpse of that.
Azia was merely shopping for some groceries until the faithful day happened where she noticed a pirate standing over a deceased body on the floor. Azia gasped which triggered the pirate to realize her presence and rushed up towards her, holding her hostage. He could've easily slain her, but he heard chattering nearby and knew he wouldn't survive running to the docks as he was in the middle of town. So, he held onto her in an attempt to ward off the town members till he made it to the docks.
Once he arrived there with multiple village members following, he released Azia onto the ship and expected her to run out of it. Yet, she turned around, noticing a shadow in the sun being an arrow coming straight towards the pirate. She turned around and pointed at it and shouted, "Watch out!" The pirate was too late to evade and was struck by the arrow. Apparently a rival pirate crew was heading towards their ship. Some crew members prepared while a few helped the pirate to a bed within the ship.
Azia rushed out of the ship out the ship, but from the lower ladder all she could clearly see was deep blue water. Her heart was racing, noticing that the ship was sailed. The door was closed by the what was apparently the Captain. He walked up to her with a grim smirk on his face. He said, "Don't be alarmed, girlie. I want harm you. In fact, im willing to and have me' men to treat you like a lil' princess. But first, I wanna' test your special lil' gift." He said, placing his arms around her.
Azia, being obviously frightened still tried to keep stable under such a changing event. They walked over to the stricken pirate. "First, let's test yar' reaction to this." He said observing how his pirate member was bleeding out, so he pulled out the biggest axe out that Azia has ever seen. Without hesitation, he gutted his crewmate infront of Azia.
For some reason, something snapped inside of her. What she witnessed made her mind go blank. Not because of her witnessing the blatant murder of her former hostage, but the fact that the Journeyman was pretty much the same age as her. And she could tell the boy was as confused and scared as she was. She didn't know what to feel at the moment and the Captain could notice this. So he decided to rush her upstairs to the main dock of the ship. Once up there, he noticed the ships were already boarded to each other. He rushed over to the other side, like the Berserker he is and slaughter many people in his way while he attempted to cut down the archer.
Once he had done so, he made his way back to the other side, handing Azia the bow. "Now shoot, girl." She was a bit stunned to be put to battle. She had experience in archery before, but not against moving targets. She then silently said, "I have a name, ya' know." As she aimed the bow. "It's Azia." She fired the arrow, nailing the enemy pirate in the shin. After the resulting casualty, she was rather surprised her arrow hit from her distance. "Another!" The captain shouted. She was startled, but quickly lined up another arrow. Eventually the battle was won with few casualties.
Azia spent time travelling to various places with her crew for about 3 years. Her quickly became more honed. Yet, the war between the villages began to be known by multiple countries and one country decide to solve the nuisance by sending an well-equipped army to deal with the warring pirates, including the legendary Berserker. Yet, unfortunately he was found deceased on land, slain down by a powerful General who left him there to die. The reports didn't reach crew until a week later. The reports read when he died, he died with a smile on his face. Too bad the crew members ditched each other after a week of waiting.
Azia did the same, after reading the report. She returned to her hometown, only to find out it was abandoned. After hours of searched, she noticed an old man. He told details of what happened of a massive raid ransacked the town, killing many men including her father about a year ago. She was quite depressed after hearing about this, but knew this would happen eventually happen as her hometown was right on the shore in pirate infested territory.
Azia asked of her mother and was told she and some other villagers escaped into the mountains. So Azia journeyed through that area for about a year, doing odd jobs in between. Eventually, she had postponed her search and continued her journey through Elibe to gather enough money for her ordeal and possibly improve her own skill to survive in this harsh world that was forced on her.
