Class: Journeyman
Age: 16
Born in: Bern
Appearance:
Standing in at 5'7", Bree cuts a relatively imposing figure… For a 16 year old girl, of course. Her body is fairly muscular and tough from working with her father and cousins, but she isn't terribly bulky. The girl's hair is a tangle of scarlet curls which she rarely, if ever, even makes an attempt at brushing - the attempt would be mostly worthless, since it'd go right back to being a mess after a day of work anyway. Her hair goes down to her mid-back, but is usually worn tied back for practicality purposes. The girl's face has a few freckles below her green eyes and over her nose, giving her smiling face a certain degree of cuteness.
Although she clearly has some growing left to do, Bree is clearly a rather pretty young woman, if not particularly stunning in any way. She's rather average in the chest and hip department, her shoulders are perhaps a little more broad than could really be considered "desirable", and her arms are riddled with scars while her hands are rather tough from the hard work she'd done with her family… But her nose is rather cute and her smile could melt a glacier, which all adds up to one rather pretty young woman.
Personality:
After years spent with a family who loved to laugh and smile, Bree was left with a very similar attitude - she's always quick with a laugh or an offhand joke, and her main coping mechanism is to find the humor in a situation. Perhaps unfortunately, however, the "quick to laugh" is followed by its counterpart - "quick to rage". Bree loathes liars and thieves, but is also unfortunately quick to assume - if she feels that someone is telling her a lie, she is unlikely to be swayed to believe that they are telling the truth, even if that are telling the truth. The redhead is, however, a massive sucker for a sob story
She can be rather blunt - growing up with her family, if you wanted to say something, you said exactly what you wanted to say when you wanted to say it, and you said it loudly. Bree is also fiercely loyal to her family and country, which is part of the reason that she wishes to join up with Bernese Rebellion.
Story:
"A simple existence" is a good way to summarize Bree's life up until this point. Although she is the second eldest of six siblings, the household she grew up in was packed to the breaking point with children - after all, her father's five siblings and their children lived with them, with Bree's father's mother sitting as the matriarch of the family. The family was the largest in the little village by far, constituting half of the population.
Most of her uncles and their older children worked the fields as farmers, supplying both the family's own table and the village's stores with food, but Bree's father, as well as his eldest brother and his children, worked as loggers. Bree spent her early years amongst the woods they cleared, dreaming of the day she'd get her hands on an axe so that she could help too. That day came sooner than Bree's mother would have liked, as the redheaded girl had a hatchet stuck in her hands on her tenth birthday. The small village was barely touched by the wars that had gone on, but upon Ilia being placed in control of Bern, the village felt some of the effects of the war - life became a good deal harder for the village, as they lost a good share of the total crops they could pull in as taxes to the new government. As a result, Bree developed something of a grudge against this terrifying entity known as "Ilia" - and when a man from what he called the "Bernese Rebellion" came into their town in an attempt to recruit a few more fighters against Ilia, Bree was excited to finally find the opportunity to strike back at the mysterious mass that had robbed her village of so much food.
She set out from her village a week later, axe in hand, and looking high and low for any signs of this Rebellion in the hopes that they'd accept the teenage girl and her axe into their force.
