Story:Wei was born into a common family inside of the city state of Thria. His mother was a baker and his father was a member of the town guard. However his father had very high aspirations and constantly worked to reach the top of his position in the social ladder. However the man never got past the rank of Sargent, but his dreams of rising above his station passed onto his son.
Wei, looking at his mother and father as role models saw life as a constant struggle to reach the top of the food chain. His father constantly pushed to reach the highest position in the guard and his mother worked to be the best bakery in the city. The two of them built perseverance into there son and moved him toward the goals that drive him.
Wei, despite being the son of a guard, never learned to wield a lance. His father never had time to train him as he would volunteer for extra work to try and push his rank up higher. Wei's mother did not know how to fight and as a result she could not teach him. The only combat training Wei had was with his wood cutting axe, which he used to gain extra coin from the neighbors and keep the family home warm.
During his youth Wei would go to school while his parents worked at home. It was in school that Wei learned to read and write and he discovered the class order of Lycia.
At the age of 15 Wei decided he would leave home and go train. To his father this was simply his son trying to prove to himself that he was a man. However to Wei this was a opportunity to not only better himself on the battlefield, but also gain information. Information was power and Wei understood that collecting it was worth while.
