Family. Family. His head began to buzz slightly. It wasn't enough to make him lose control. He simply lifted his hand for a moment to the palm of his head as he groaned quietly in pain. He blinked rapidly as his vision briefly blurred before re-focusing on the dancing orange lights of the fire. The ashen haired shaman lifted a hand to run his fingers through his hair as he exhaled slowly. He shifted his gaze to Mila before a moment before smiling softly, and nodding. It warmed his heart slightly, despite his cold exterior, to know that she was willing to travel with him to atleast attempt to help. Such kindness of late was foreign to him. His amber eyes were still bloodshot, but he wasn't entirely drained. He shifted in his spot where he sat as he looked upwards for a moment. He chuckled again.
"I suppose we should stick together. Misery loves company they say..so maybe we can counter it out by some law of the universe unknown to us, eh? Stranger things have happened I'd wager. " He chuckled again as he shifted his gaze yet again to the fire. It was thought. He spoke up a moment later though as Mila mentioned night terrors. "I'll make you a deal. I'll watch over you while you sleep, incase you have night terrors. You watch over me while I rest..and try to sleep..incase I have another major headache. Hmm..though stories? Stories...stories.."
Stories? That wasn't such a bad idea...
What stories would he know though? Most of his that he had been told were of great druids, or stories of outcasts that were no doubt other stories altered to better fit his family's life style. Well..there was one he could think of. He grabbed one of the sweet-rolls and nibbled at it quietly while he shifted in his grassy cushion. "Okay so...in Nabata, back before the scouring..there lived this Ice dragon...~" The tales continued off through out the night. Sleeping wasn't so important when he had a friend to speak with at-least.
