Orcleous charged forward hopping to take out the horse mounted warrior. The two remaining archers fired there arrows toward the Hero. The first one missed completely and found itself a nice spot inside of the soft dirt. The second one had better luck, and struck Orcleous in the chest. However the breastplate he wore to protect himself deflected the blow. The energy from the arrow however was enough to cause Orcleous to flinch for a moment. The hero however did not pause for long. He knew survival and meant movement. As the horse came charging toward him Orcleous thought he might have a field day. However after looking at the weapon the man was using and the way the horse moved Orcleous realized he was not attempting a charge, but rather moving in to toss his projectile weapon.
As the javelin cut through the air Orcleoud bought down his massive Warhammer Xigshaw. The metal rod slammed into the spear mid air and snapped it into two and slamming into the stone streets outside of the inn. The force from the blow kicked up a bit of dirt as the soldier rushed in to attack. Looking at Orcleous weapon the hero understood why the man was so brave. A normal person would not be able to lift the hammer and attack again. It was too wide, too massive, and too heavy. However Xigshaw as a magical weapon. The user received phenomenal power from simply holding the weapon. As he approached Orcleous pulled on the hammer with both arms. The massive Warhammer scuffled across the stone street making a familiar sound of stone being cleaved by metal. As Orcleous swung the hammer the eyes of the soldier opened wide.
The man rose his shield up in defense, but Xigshaw was too powerful for that. The blow first slammed into his spear snapping the lance into two and creating another hole in the street. However before the blow landed the soldier stopped his body from moving by pivoting his feet. This stop in momentum prevented his body from being hit by the hammer and as a result he was left standing after Orcleous attack.
"Sweat mercy", spoke the man as he witness the power of the warhammer up close. He was starting to understand just how powerful of a weapon Orcleous had in his hand. However the soldier had not time to gawk and awe. He needed to counter Orcleous before he lifted the massive weapon a second time. Rushing forward with his shield the soldier attempted to smash the circular iron wheel into Orcleous face. It was the most effective move at the moment. If it worked he could take the opportunity to try and stab the broken spear end into Orcleous throat or maybe fall back. However the attack did not work.
As he swung the shield Orcleous swung his arm. Taking advantage of the iron gauntlet on his left hand Orcleous deflected the blow with a well timed strike and the extra power of Xigshaw. As the shield moved to the side Orcleous brought his right hand forward, letting go of the legendary hammer, and slammed his plated fist into the man's chest. Such a punch would be very ineffective if it was done by a normal man, but Orcleous had a trick up his sleeve. As he let go of the hammer he lost the power boost awarded to him by Xigshaw. However that did not stop him from channeling the natural energy in his body through his arm. The force of his punch was multiplied and the blow sent the man flying back straight into the nearby wall.
" uppity soldier", spoke Orcleous as he grabbed Xigshaw. As he touched the hammer a arrow flew by and cut the side of his face.
"Just a bit more", spoke the archer as he began to take aim.

Rumis drew out his Silver sword. Kicking the side of the horse, it lifted up into the air as the moonlight reflected off the blade making it look like it's glowing. Bolting now, he had the sword ready to attack as the sword ran like lightening. The archer and Hunter released their arrows at the same time, both aiming for Orcleous's knees. When the Cavalier was in The Hero's striking range he jumped up onto the saddle and jumped up into the air using the bright moon to cover him. Aiming the sword down, the blade was pointed for dead center of the chest plate of his foe.
Back inside:
Claira slowly limped so she had her back to the corner. The thief and female swordsman tried to get flank Raven. Watching them both, she began to make her next few moves. The swordsman dashed at her bringing the sword down. Her reflexes kicked in and Claira angled her blade to parry the iron blade. Both of them pushed at each other with the old age test of might between them.
Drawing out his iron dagger, the enemy thief ran up to Claira and lunged. Hearing the clumsy Sprint. Claira would look into the other females eyes and smiled. Claira dropped her bone dagger and grabbed the handle of the sword. Placing a foot between her foes legs, Raven quickly jerked the swordsman spinning her slightly to Claira's left side. Then that's when it happened. The enemy thirds dagger stabbed his last ally inside the Inn. The blade pierced the heart. Letting go, the swordsman slid off the dagger making the last foe to back away.

After the fall of his comrade the horsemen had decided to charge Orcleous. It was a smart move. Orc was a strong warrior, but even he could not match up to the speed and attack power of a horse. Not to mention the archers backing him up it would make for a very difficult fight. However Orcleous was not a noob, nor was he a fool. As the horse came charging Orcleous dashed toward the right of the horse and jumped out of the way. The arrows missed his legs as his body landed toward his right shoulder. Quickly on his feet Orcleous rolled over and got back onto his legs. Fighting in the open was not going to work. Orcleous was going to need to limit there lanes of attack.
The Hero decided to dash alongside the inn and make his way back into the building. He did not worry about Xigshaw, none of them where worthy and he was sure the holy hammer would not aid them. Before the horseman turned around and made a second pass Orcleous used the hilt of his sword to break a nearby window and hop into the building. As he hit the ground a arrow flew by over head and slammed into the wall in front of him.
"When I get my hand on those archers I am going to cut off there middle fingers", spoke Orcleous as he lowered his head and moved out the room. If he still had his tower shield this would be a thousand times easier. Alas he left it back at home in Bern. It was hard enough carrying around Xigshaw. Orcleous was regretting his choice. Still he could take these clowns. He just needed to break up there strategic plan. Orcleous walked out into the hallway to smell of blood and fighting.
"Claira", he shouted as he moved to investigate.

She was leaning against the wall next to her in the front room.putting her weight against the wall and limped down the hallway. She was chasing the injured thief. Then the sound of glass smashing was heard. With a death grip on the dagger, she was ready to attack until she heard Orcleous's voice. "claira"
Smiling, she slid down the wall as the shoulder steel pauldron scraped the wall taking chunks out. She called out, "I'm in here...the fr-" two arrows fired into the room from the Windows. Covering her head, she now somewhat crawled to the staircase , and took cover.

"D@#$ archers", shouted Orcleous as he moved toward Caira's voice. Orcleous needed to figure out if she was ok and then moved to his ounter attack. The hero had no range weapons, which he really needed to fix, and had no idea were any of them where. Still he could find a way to turn the battle to his side. All he needed was a chair. If he had a chair he could use it to knock the rider off or maybe even block a arrow. Though the likely hood of both was pretty low. It would take timing and placement.
As Orcleous turned the corner he saw something moving toward him. Instinctively he turned his body dodging what was a knife. The thief attempted to stab his blade toward the hero's throat, but Orcleous was a step ahead of him. The hero deflected the blade with his arm allowing the blade to stab into the metal of his gauntlet. In a furry of rage Orcleous pushed forward and slammed his body into the thief. Smashing the theif into the wall Orcleous slammed his forearm into their face over and over again.
Trying to fight back the thief free the knife from Orcleous gauntlet and stabbed forward with the weapon. The blade scuffled across Orcleous breastplate drawing sparks as it cut against the steel. Naturally Orcleous took a step back, which gave the thief room to move. Picking a target the thief aimed to stab toward the gap between orcleous unprotected thigh. However Orcleous was a step ahead. With a strong backhand Orcleous slammed the metal of his gauntlet into the temple of the thief sending them falling over. Now with a free moment he pulled his silver sword forward and stabbed his opponent in the chest with his blade.
"Dang nabit", shouted Orcleous. "You could have told me somebody else was in here", he shouted as he began to look around.

On the staircase around the next corner, he heard Claira say. "I would have if I knew where he went...think I scared him. Come around and you will see. Probably nothing compared to your skills...but still...hahaha."
Ripping her shirt around her waist, she tied it around her wound on her left leg. Laying her head against the wall as more arrows kept being shot into the room. After a while, the arrows stopped. "Raven...come on out here. You give up and your friend will not die. If not...then we will cook you out." Rumis yelled.

"Ah crap", spoke Orcleous as he saw the wound on her leg. That was going to be troublesome. For the moment she had stopped the bleeding, but Orcleous worried about her ability to move. There goes his plan to use her as a distraction so he could take out the archers. He was going to have to deal with them alone. "Here I have some", spoke Orcleous and then the leader of the band of slavers started to yell. Great, this is just what Orcleous needed. "I have some medicine and bandages in this bag", spoke Orcleous as he reached into his back pocket and pulled out a small bag in which he held his medical supplies.
"You talk mad S#$% for a corpse", shouted Orcleous back! The hero then turned back toward the young thief. "Stay here and keep a eye out for any of them coming in from the back. I am going to take out the loud mouth and his archery friends in the front." The swordsmen then sheathed his sword and unbuckled the straps on the side of his breastplate. Taking off the hunk of metal Orcleous drew out his silver longsword and rushed up the stairs. Moving into a nearby room on the second floor Orcleous tossed a chair throw the window giving the idea that somebody was trying to escape out the back way. Once he did that he rushed over to the opposite side and threw another chair through a window. The hero then stood in the window seal and grabbed hold of a gutter running from the roof. Using it as leverage he hooked the top of the roof and pulled himself up. Now on top of the builiding Orcleous began to look around for the archers. They may not have known it, but Orcleous use to be as assassin.

As he told her to watch for others to sneak in she laughed as she pointed to the two dead corpses in the front area. "Oh, you mean those goons? Yeah...your a bit late." She looked at the medicine band fresh bandages. So applied the medicine and fresh dressing of bandages.
Her eyes looked up when she heard the first window break. About to yell out, she then heard the next window being smashed out. Shrugging her shoulders, she dragged herself to the floor then crawled over to the soldier's body. Taking off her shirt, she put on the soldiers breast plate to give her some protection. Reaching over, she grabbed the iron sword from the Myramadon. Sliding up her scarf and putting up her hood again, Claira slowly stood up. Going over to the dead female, Claira cut off the long black sleeve and slid her right arm into it. Fitting her arm like a new skin.Putting on her elbow armor back on to her right elbow, she even put on her other shoulder the black steel pauldron. She started to look like mix of Soldier and Assassin.
The archer started to go around the Inn to see if someone was trying to escape. But ran back to the front when he heard something that was smashed. Rumis was now gone. No signs of his horse, but he still was there with his Silver sword. He was stalking the side of the Inn going for the back door.

Pshaw, the coward did not even have the balls to actually set the place on fire, thought Orcleous to himself as he looked down at the people below. The hero walked back a bit and took a running jump onto a nearby building. It was shorter than the inn, but high enough up that he would not suffer any great injury from landing on the roof. As soon as he hit the roof he rolled and slid down the side of the building. Moving with speed Orcleous circled around from the nearby building and moved back toward the front of the inn. Taking advantage of his faster speed orcleous crossed the street and moved to the buildings behind the archers location. Now that he was behind there position he could try and sneak up on them.
Looking at the situation Orcleous was going to need to take out the archer who had the highest chance of hitting him first. It was hard to tell because they both looked about the same in terms of skill. However the one on the right had the sturdier looking arrows so Orlcoeus chose to eliminate him first. Being quite was important when one attempted to attack from stealth. However Orcleous leaned that speed matter far more than silence. Moving silently could only get you so far. People seemed to have a sixth sense toward danger or luck itself would screw you and make you misstep.
"Alright lets go", spoke Orcleous to himself as he took a deep breath and dashed forward at full speed. His sprint caught the attention of the archer who turned around, but by the time they raised there bows Orcleous was already too close to the first one. At full speed Orcleous slammed his body into the man. The charge was joined by Orcleous sword which pierced the man in the stomach. The silver sword stuck clearly from the man's back as Orcleous held him up standing by strength alone. The second archer fired toward Orcleous, but the hero had used his friends body as a shield and blocked the arrow. Abandoning his silver sword in the man's gut Orcleous rushed forward drawing his steel sword from his side.
The young hunter pulled back on his bow, but Orlcoeus sword came first. The hero brought down his blade and cut clean through the shaft of the bow. His assault caused the arrow to be thrown out of place and the hunter weaponless. The man attempted to run, but Orcleous hawked him down and placed his sword through his back. Dropping the man to the ground Orcleous walked back over and picked up his mighty warhammer, which just happen to be nearby. "Welcome back", he spoke as he sheathed the iron sword and strung his weapon over his shoulder.

Hearing men being slaughtered outside, she looked out the window with her new make shift outfit. Only two? That can't be. Where's the leader at? Claira asked. Trying the door, she saw it was locked. "Really? Ugh...." Taking her picks out again, she began to work the lock when she heard the back door slam shut. Then the armored boot March to her. "Son...of..a...you killed two of my experienced units. But you know the saying Raven...An eye for an Eye! Now Die in honor." Rumis said to her as he kept his advance to her. Putting her picks in her pocket. She unsheathed the iron sword and yelled,
"Giant Giant! Where are you?!?"
She slid away from the door to one of the windows.
"Stop running Raven. You die tonight." Rumis said in a low voice as he lifted the sword in a fighting stance.

"Great now I need to get my sword", spoke Orcleous when he heard the word giant being yelled. "What the", spoke Orcleous and then he remembered that the last guy was still around here. Still Orcleous did not like the idea of being called a giant, he was not really a big person, but he figured something was wrong. Moving back toward the door to the inn orcleous saw the leader and Claira in the same room. "Oh crap", shouted Orcleous as he rushed toward the door. To his surprise the door was locked, which was weird because he never locked it. "Great", spoke the Hero as he gripped Xigshaw. The hammer gave him some of its power, but it held a bit off from top gallon. Xigshaw was still the jealous type though Orcleous had more than enough for what he needed to do.
With a firm kick Orcleoud knocked the door off the hinges. It made for a very dramatic moment thanks to the force being far greater than necessary. The hunk of wood flew black like a person in one of dramas done on stage. Walking through the door Orcleous held Xigshaw in both hands. The massive weapon straddled across his body as he turned and looked toward the leader.
"I suggest that you drop your sword and surrender", spoke Orcleous. "Your men are dead and your chance of complete victory is gone. If you drop your sword and surrender I will stay my hand." Unknown to him Orcleous had no intention of letting this man live. He had caused Orcleous far to much trouble and as a bonus he was a dirty slaver. Orcleous just needed a bit of information out of him first and then he would send him off to the other world. Well that and he was closer to Claira than Orcleous was to him.

Rumis looked at the two but he started to back up to the hallway. Making it one on one. And also to make it hard for Orcleous to use his hammer due to the size of the hallway. Claira saw what he was doing. Staying close to the outer wall, she walked fast as best as she could to cut Rumis off from getting into the hall. Since he was now more worried about The Hero.
Rumis: "Her brand has special meaning to boss. She only one to have Raven bra...where is Raven?" His eyes scanned the area, but didn't look behind him. Her sword was aimed at his back and when he backed to far, he felt the sword cut into the armor" What?!? How did you get there?"

Orcleous watched the man like a hawk. He was aiming to move into the hallway because he thought Orcleous could not kill him there. What he did not understand was that Orcleous was as deadly with his iron sword as he was with his warhammer. All Orcleous had to do was simply put the weapon down and kill him with his sword. If things got desperate orcleous could just knock out the walls and kill him anyway. Though he was not so sure on how the structure of the building would hold up. However Orcleous did not have to do anything. Claira seemed more intone to the situation than the fool did. She had cut him off before he could reach his destination. The man began to talk, but soon realized that the maiden had moved. When he began to panic and look around Orcleous jumped into action.
"What, how did you get there", he asked. Orcleous did not even give the man the opportunity to attack or bleed to death. The moment his eyes moved off the hero Orcleous dashed forward dropping his warhammer and drawing his sword from his sheath. In a single motion Orcleous pulled out his steel blade and slashed. The hero cut the exposed throat of the man and removed his head from his shoulders.
"Word of advice, keep your eyes on the birdy", spoke Orcleous. The hero chuckled a bit as he laughed at his own cleverness. The man's blood stained the floor and the inn had suffered some major damage. "You know your friends play rough", spoke Orcleous as he looked at Claira. The hero then began to walk toward the door. "I will be back in a moment", he spoke, but his mind stopped him. "You know what never mind. Come with me for a bit so I can get my silver longsword. I don't want anymore surprises."

Claira heard the pun said as the man's head fell off. Then she chimed in. "Don't lose your head over it. You should see how and what they do to children. It make your blood run cold for the rest of your life." Looking down at the dead leaders body, she picked up the silver long sword that he was using. Whisteling loudly to get his attention, she held up the sword.
"Take this one. I don't think it be long til another party comes looking. And besides, we need the energy for our journey Orcleous. I need to be trained fully, remember?"
With the make shift outfit, she didn't need to worry to stop somewhere to buy or get herself a' free' shirt. Walking with a bit of a limp, she came up to him and handed him the sword explaining.
"Besides, it's to big for me anyways. The only good it has for me is either sharpening my blades or cutting up fire wood"

Orcleous gave off a long sigh. He really liked that sword. Still both swords where practically identical, but well one was his. Still they needed to leave as soon as possible. Though Orcleous hated the idea of leaving the blade in the man's gut. However time was of the essence. "Fine", spoke Orcleous as he walked over and took the sword. The hero placed it into his sheath. The blade actually fit perfectly, which was good. If it had been off by even a inch he would have refused it.
"Right, well we need to get out of town. I am sure the inn keeper and the guards will be by shortly. He is going to be ticked once he sees what I have done to the upper level. Then again I can care less about him. That scumbag probably sold us out." Taking a look at the maiden Orcleous realized that they where not going to go too far with her limping. It was about time for him to do it, but he had been putting it off.
"Well before we leave I need to stop by the local stables", spoke Orcleous as he pulled out his coin purse. Tears almost flowed from his eyes as he soon realized that his coin bag was going to get a lot lighter. Still a horse was a good investment. Orcleous could carry more weapons and finally stop having to chose between bringing his tower shield and comfort. "I need to get a horse, and a big one", he spoke.
"So is there anyplace in particular that you want to go", asked Orcleous to the young maiden. Sure she was running for her life, but he was sure she had a place in mind she wanted to visit, or was heading next.
