Name:Ljusolf
Class:Shaman
Age:23
Born in:Etruria, Delfia
Appearance:A tall man, standing at 6'1, with long, black hair, blue eyes, a slim physique and a feminine face. He wears a simple purple hooded robe that covers most of his body. He also has an hourglass shaped birthmark on the nape of his neck.
Personality:A bit arrogant and self-centered, Ljusolf rarely speaks, and when he does, he will most likely make unnerving, disdainful or plain weird comments. Even though he dislikes fighting and violence in general, Ljusolf has no remorse whatsoever about killing, should he thinks it is necessary to further his own goals. For some reason, he also has a rather effeminate behavior.
Story:Ljusolf was a born in Etruria, his family wasn't poor, but they did not have the most luxurious lifestyle. His father was a merchant and his mother took care of the inn they owned. It was always amazing to Ljusolf when adventurers stopped by, he would never go to bed before listening to at least one story about the mercenaries' adventures.
Even before turning six, Ljusolf took great interest about the mysteries of life and death, the creation of the world, the dragons, magic, time, even the universe itself! everything intrigued him to no end. It was not long before he joined the Magic Academy of Delfia. Whenever he could, he would spent hours reading, gathering information thanks to the academy's huge supply of it. He soon began studying the dark arts. Scholars and others students looked down on him, they said he used such magic with malevolent intentions. Ljusolf calmly retorted such accusations, saying that no power in this world was truly good, nor was it truly evil. It all depended on the one who used said power. Men, however, can be easily corrupted, and Ljusolf knew he was no different. Could he trust himself with such power?
One day, sometime after the thief Kraft rose to power as the Prophet of St. Elimine, Ljusolf started questioning the meaning of these battles and why humanity fought against itself. He was seventeen when he decided to start something he simply had to accomplish. He wanted to learn more, to see more, to know more. He wished to understand the very foundation of all that was, is, and will be. But it was obvious the academy would not allow such things. He did not had enough information, experience or confidence. He then made his decision. Should this experiment fail, he would leave Etruria. In 1290 AS, everything looked perfect. He tought that the key to having all of his questions answered was finally within his grasp. The point is, he tought. The spell he had prepared was unstable, he never tested any of the "prototypes", it was the first time in his life that he truly felt fear. He was uncertain. Would he succeed? Was this the right thing to do? What is right? What is wrong? For a single moment, he stopped thinking and activated the spell. A blinding light then filled his laboratory. Teachers and students alike ran when they heard the screaming. Ljusolf was sitting in the ground, hugging his knees. As soon as he looked to his peers, he knew what happened to him should not happen with anyone else, he would not sacrifice those who had nothing to do with him.
He abandoned the Academy. He gave his parents a goodbye and a letter explaining his motives. As soon as he entered the house, he disappeared from Delfia. He then decided to quit the research. However, his wish to learn more about the world only grew as he walked through the plains. The first course of action was to find people who could help him. Ideas took form in his mind as he saw a spider in a tree. He put his index finger and thumb around the insect's head and crushed it. The spider, however, still moved, before finally dying. The thought then came to his mind. "A spider can move even without its head". He laughed and turned around, moving on. Now, his journey begins anew.
