Name:Vita
Class:Myrmidon
Age:22
Born in:Lycia
Appearance:Vita has brown hair she wears in a high but messy free falling ponytail. Behind her left ear she has a feather ornament from her father. It is a simple solid black feather. Her eyes are green with her bangs just as messy as her ponytail. You would think it would interfere with her sight but she gets along just fine.
Vita stands at 5ft 5 and a quarter, the quarter is important to her as it keeps her above her elder sister. For clothing she wears some rather traditional styled myrmidon affair. Her gi falls to just past her hips, enough to retain modesty, but little more, for that purpose she does wear leggings however. Her clothing is a salmon color and she has a red coat she wears over that. The sleeves are loose and large. There is black trimming around the sleeves and down each side where it could be tied together. To keep her gi closed she wears a black belt that also carries her blade’s scabbard. She binds her otherwise generous chest. She covers her legs in thigh high boots broken in long ago for maximum mobility.
Vita carries herself with a nigh unshakeable pride. She stands tall and walks long and wears her feelings on her sleeve. She is very expressive for better or worse.
Personality:Vita has a very particular nickname in town, ‘The Empress of Waste.’ This was born from her propensity to frequently make frivolous purchases from any merchant that interested her. This all came from her father’s wealth naturally and as her waste grew greater began to cause further and further strain between the two, to the point she developed issues with him and general authority. She can accurately be described as a spoiled brat. She is demanding and always in a hurry to see things done. While this does give her an efficient drive she rarely uses it for important things and often projects it onto others, usually to their frustration.
Vita has other nicknames around town that will not be mentioned for censorship purposes due to her propensity to use seductive tactics on the weaker willed boys leading them to follow her and do her bidding. She has never felt shame for such tactics either. The more rumors and names spread the more she acted to their expectations, yet never in a way to make the rumors true. In her own way it was how she would spite them and something she prided herself on.
At home she has a rocky relationship with her family. Her elder sister is the ideal lady and warrior alike, which leads her to frequently be scolded by her. The two fight frequently where arguments lead into actual sword duels. The victors are a roughly 50/50 split between them. Vita with her natural but lazy talent and her sister who dedicated rigorously to it.
Her father on the other hand has all but given up on her entirely. To him she offers a cold shoulder and spiteful remarks off to the side. She knows it hurts him and that his pride keeps him from saying anything but she does not care. In her mind he cares more for his possessions and sword than he does for her.
In private she is still as boisterous in all things she does. She likes to think of herself as an artist and despite her father’s sword teachings she shirks them to develop her own style incorporating dance. She is very self-centered thinking first of herself and second of what should she do to make people like her more.
History:Vita’s life is one far from describable as difficult. Her father, while no nobleman, is wealthy from his sword school. He is renowned as a master of ten techniques and many wish for their sons to learn them from him and so pay well for lessons. The only catch is he will only ever teach each technique to one student and never two to any. His daughters however were meant to be the ones to take over his school with all of the techniques, and his sword to the one of them to prove the greater fighter and true inheritor.
To this end her early years did consist of harsh training with the blade and for strengthening her body. But as her older sister and her continued to maintain an even pace with each other she eventually decided to simply quit. At first her father was furious but in time she forced him to accept it. She turned to other past times out in town and the city where she wasted much of her family wealth.
When puberty hit she began to use what she had to further manipulate people into doing what she wanted. Her wasteful habits and behavior in society led to her essentially dishonoring her family name. Eventually it reached the point that her father could no longer ignore her behavior and kicked her out of his home, officially naming his ender daughter successor. Now left out on her own Vita has to figure out how she will actually survive. Reluctantly she realizes she does have her sword skills and so, cried. But then she picked herself back up and began looking for work.
