We all know the 360 phailed. The ps3 don't have too much for it. Hell it even copied the Wii mote abit. Wii has everything going for it.

Nintendo always wins when it comes to originality. But Sony always gets the BEST games out there. Devil May Cry? Final Fantasy? Castlevania?

I'm sorry, but for $500 dollars, I'll get my friend a Wii, and we'll play games over the internet.  Still, I've heard people were waiting in line for the Playstation 3 starting Wednesday. :/ Maybe it's both the Playstation 3 AND the Wii, but I'm not sure on that. |

The question isn't which you would buy but which one will be most succesfull. Have you seen the news? PS3 launch was most succesfull.

No it comes out Sunday. Alan should of said so far. All the ps3 has is hype. They should of learned from the psp mistake about price. The psp cost more then the DS, the games cost more then 80% of the DS game. Then the DS had alot of great titles while the psp had a handfull. The psp started off good becuase of pure hype then people started to trade them in left and right for a DS. Was the psp foreshadowing of what will happen to the ps3?

I'm going to go with yes.
I've talked to every gamer I know, and they're all waiting for the PS3. Most of us don't have the money to drop $500-$600 on a multi-media system like what Sony's giving us. Heck, even Sony has admitted that they have made a media system, not a game console... From what I've heard, there will be an extra attachment available for $100-$200 dollars that will turn the Wii into a Blu-Ray Player (My father read this in a paper somewhere, So it's the only thing said here I don't have direct evidence for). This means that the whole "blu-ray" thing won't be a PS3 only thing. Also, Square-Enix, one of the major players behind the PS2's success, has openly declared that there are going to "make things fair." in other words, everybody's going to get FFs and other games now...
Between Price, the unique control system, the downloadable games, back compatabilty with Gamecube (that's one of the main reasons I'm drooling for it), and the promise of some Square-Enix, Wii will rain supreme.
Now, if only they left the name "Revolution"...
What were they thinking?

To download games on the Wii you need to spend Wii points for it.

Hmmm... and how would one aqcuire these 'Wii points'? If it's merely playing the games online, that should be a since for me. ^^

All I know it cost one penny for one Wii point. I think you can only buy them. But them being so cheap it shouldn't matter too much. $5=500 Wii points.

They sold them all out because there wasn't many to sell. And Wii gets DVD support, not blueray. And DS is getting the good castelvanias and such. |

Also from what I heard SE will be spreding the FF games to all systems. IIRC the blue ray for the Wii might be the controller only.
I found out where you get the Wii points, you buy them like a gift card from stores I think.

Strange, I never heard before that the X Box 360 failed mostly likly that I am not a big fan of X Box. That would also kind of explain why my school if raffling off an X BoX 360. Hehe my friend gave me a ticket out of mercy just to give me about a 1/1,000 chance to win. You never know though, most of the time in raffles the person that had very few tickets wins. Come on 698542 so I can give it to my X Box nerd cousin for Chistmas and he will thank me forever since he is still in college and does not have a job. Come on 698542.
