And, I must say, it's REALLY lacking when compared to the original. In all aspects, I guess. The music isn't as catchy as it used to be, and it's quality even seems lower. The graphics are probably the biggest step down. I'd rather have good 2D than crappy 3D. Then, comes gameplay. It's more or less the same, but I seriously hate the camera. It's extremely close up, with you, your items, HP bar and all taking about 1/5 of the screen. Seriously.
Other than that, there's apparently no dream-hunting, and the game seems more "comedy" oriented. Still, as a stand alone game, it is not that bad. My opinion might change once I've played more than one hour.
Oh, and I was thinking about getting myself a hold of "The Granstream Saga"(also for PSX). Anyone heard of it?

So little interest...
Anyone ever played The Granstream Saga(Aerious, Matt, I'm looking at you two)?
Also, I must say that Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow is perhaps one of the best DS games(if not the best).

Can't say I have. Can't. Say. I have.
Sounds familiar though.

I played Granstream Saga. From what I remember of it, it was a pretty bland game.

Hmm...I still might check it out, though. Right now I'm TOO into Castlevania - Dawn of Sorrow and Castlevania - Portrait of Ruin(both for DS). Emulators FTW.
Still, couldn't play much of either. Tests are a real nuisance.
