Viada is viada, and heath comes too late and underleveld. Which is why I did not suggest them.
Lucius is mad beast. One of the best magic users ever. Canas is canas, and has a monopoly on dark magic.

First, it's Vaida. Second, IIRC, Heath actually has good max stats. If trained, he can become as good as a maxed Eliwood or something.

Heath is good yes, but you get him at level seven unpromoted after dred isle. Most of your party should be at 17-20ish range. That's a whole lot of underleveledness. He's a good choice for afas drops, because of his low level though, and good to get your exp rating up in say HHM. But his HHM bonuses aren't that great, and Vaida gets better. Vaida would be of more use in HHM, from her high defence, and better bonuses. But well, she's still not all that stellar of a unit.

Vaida scares me. Shes good and all, but I dont really like her character. I use people who not only are good, but have a good background personallity. Dont ask why, I just think that in a real war, ppl with good personalities would get along better, and therefore fight better. Think of the supports, but only everyone ahs them, not only the people it shows can talk to one another (wow thats confusing.) as a finishing note, cookiesnmilk, that little animation on ur sig is really captivating, i wach it whenever im typing around it. did you make that?

Besides coming late, Heath is pretty much another Pegasus Rider growth wise. Vaida a good late game filler but you shouldn't have any slots left until VoD (she comes at CoD, barely has usefullness in Roland, is a liabilty in Sands of Time (archers, lot's of archers), well, I guess her movement makes her usefull in battle preperations).

Okay, I'm almost finished with the other team. On the last mission. Did a horrible job on the playthrough though.. Still don't see how having over 100000 gold at the end means I did bad on funds... whatever... So, I'm going to try and take on... HECTOR HARD MODE!!! I've never been able to finish, always gotten stuck. I'm going to try and take your suggestions, combined with my own knowledge, and pull through. I don't care about ratings right now, I just want to make it out ALIVE.
Eliwood/Lyn (maybe, I just did that one though...) Hector/Florina Priscilla/Raven Rebecca/Sain Lucius Canas Oswin Guy Legault (for theifness)
Going to try and get things set up supportwise too. I need the Priscilla/Raven support, haven't gotten it yet, and I have gotten the Lucius/Raven one. Did learn that Guy is actually good. Any suggestions? I'm kinda disappointed so far in that respect. By the way, I'm going to start on Lyn Hard Mode, that way I can build Lyn, Florina, Sain, and Matthew (necassary for the chapter where he and Hector solo). Possibly work on Erk (to survive to get Prissy). By the way, Cookies, that animation... is... very... distracting... in.. a... goodway....

Oswin x Hector is good for bonuses, and I think you probably need to get some for him. You don't need erk to get priscilla, you just need to visit the house, unless you wanted supports. Drop rebbeca, have sain support with priscilla. And put rath in. Rath can support with guy.
And funds is your total money + the value of all your items. So selling gems, actually hurts your funds more then it helps.
You have alot of sword users, and not too many axers. I'd recomend having sain skip swords, and after promotion focus more on axes and lances.

I'd recommend icluding Bartre and possibly Dorcas as well. You will want to shield your swordusers off from the pegasus Riders that turn up every often in HM.

Dorcas is more usefull in the beginng yes, and bartre sucks in HHM. His 3 speed base means that he's going to get doubled with the stronger begining enemies. You really have to baby him for a while. But, dorcas gets worse over time, because of no speed increases.

well, dorcas always dies whenever I do HHM. EVERY TIME. I mean, I'm on the mission where I get back Lyn, and he's already dead. Died on the Merlinus episode, same place he died last time. Just can't keep him alive. The pegasus riders go down whenever Rebecca pegs them, and most of them can't stand up to Guy. Already having Sain focus more on lances, just using swords when he needs to. Did find out that leveling Erk was a good idea. Having a magic user help a lot (Lucius will take his place soon). So does using Marcus (though I'm about to the point where I"m going to let him go). I actually don't have the Raven x Priscilla support, and thought I could go ahead and pick that one up on this go through.

Yeah, erks good early game, but he just ends up inferior to lucius, and Canas has dark magic.

High critical rate + Killing Edge, I bet.

He's weak though. The only way he can do good damege is by using the killing edge. And I don't like wasting uses of those on him, and it does knock off one AS as well as 2 avoid. <_<
