After listening in on the others suggestions, Alexia had a few comments of her own. "Alan, it might be possible for you to come with us. Chances are most of the fighting will be done in larger areas. After all, I'm not much use without Fleetfoot. Most of the castles on the continent are huge buildings, made for this sort of thing. I still think it wouldn't be a bad idea to use those Ilian mercenaries..." she glanced out the window, where you could just see a few pegasi diving.
OoC: FE logic, somehow, Heath and Vaida were able to be everywhere everyone else was. Therefore, the castles must be large enough to support multi-wyvern combat. Besides, who wants to split us up anyway?

OoC: XD. Since this is a FE RP, I too believe we should go by it's rules. If in FE, 3 Wyvers, 2 Myrmidons and 1 Hero could be in the same corridor, and fight to death, why not here too?
BiC: Matthias was quite reluctant to the idea of a frontal attack leaded by a small group. He perhaps hadn't caught the idea.
"Matthias, this isn't a suicidal mission. Being a small group, it's easier to go unnoticed while the fight is taking place, sneak into the palace, and finish the leader off. After that, the army's morale will go down. Most will retreat, and the ones still standing will be taken care of."

OoC: just like in Farthen Dur when Eragon killed the shade... was using real world logic on that, but whatever.
BiC: "Whatever the odds are, we have to do our best. I dont think that we can afford to lose this battle. If we do, bandits everywhere will think that no one can stop them, and they will attack everything in sight." Sokka said.

'I dunno if Hargus will be there. But that traitor Antony sure will. He shall pay for what he has done.' Alan said growing angry.

"Well, we might as well head out as soon as possible," Matthias muttered. "At least I get to use everyone as a body shield, thanks to the whole archer thing."
He grinned at the others. He might complain... a lot... more than any three other people... but he still was willing to fight them.

'Meh, i don't mind. But really will have to learn to fly first.' I chuckled gesturing at my wyvern.

"Well, when will we be going? Id really like to start kicking some bandit butt!" Sokka said.
He would not hold back. There would not be any bandits that got past him alive. He would do it for his mother, he would do it for Yue.

"You and me both kid, I don't know about the rest of you, but I've definately got a bone to pick with these fuckers," Matthias grated, glancing over at Alexia. for once, she let him slide. There were times where even she couldn't disagree with some harsh language.

This sort of thing took some planning, though most of the troops had been ready for weeks. Alexia shifted, wondering if the excitement Sokka and Matthias were showing was starting to spread. She wanted to blame the bandits for what happened to Calis, and she still harbored some anger about her family. Shifting nervously, her eyes went to Matis, who had taken the role of leader. "I think they're ready to attack at a moment's notice, m'lord. The troops would probably move just as quickly. We're all anxious to take back what was stolen from us," she glanced over at the men around her. "All of us..."

'Alright!' I said hailing the Santuraz soldiers. 'Men, here is where we show those squid-head sons of bitches that they could not have picked a worse enemy in the human race. We are going to slice the hell out of those dumb bandits until we don't have anything left to cut 'em with! And then, we are going to strangle them with their own-living-guts! (Pause) (Loud and precise) Am I right, fellow soldiers?' 'SIR, YES SIR!' 'UM HM, damn right I am. Now move it out, double time!' I yelled. (Sorry guys. I am a Halo fan.) I usually thought harsh language was below me but the soldiers were dying for action and they needed someone to follow.

Matthias could hear the pep talk Alan was giving the troops. Heck, he could've heard the pep talk had he remained in Ilia. Grinning like a mad man, he looked over to Matis. "Why I do believe someone is quite ready to kill some bandits, wouldn't you say, ole' chap?" came out of his mouth, in a false accent. Winking at Alexia, he headed for the door. "We'd better get our stuff together, we'll be heading out soon, I'd wager. Anyone who's that damn anxious probably doesn't want to stick around any longer than he has to."
OoC: hey, it didn't censure my last post... all these innocent ears... that and I really don't like cursing, ironically enough.

Alexia rolled her eyes. There was enough testosterone in the room to make even her a little anxious. Like Sokka and Matthias, she had lost family to bandits. Unlike those two, however, she had more discipline (sorry Sokka, but you're still a little fresh-faced). "i shall inform Marcus of the events, and prepare for battle," she stated, giving Matis a stiff bow. "by your leave my lord."

Sokka and Matis were the only ones left in the room. "I just want to say..." He handed Matis his sword and bowed before him. "I, Sokka of Santaruz, formerly or Sacae, pleadge my loyalty and my fealty to you, Matis of Ostia." And waited for The lord's responce.

Matthias quickly gathered his gear. Matis hadn't given the order yet, but he knew they'd be heading out soon. Seeing as he somehow earned a spot on the front, he definitely didn't want to go into battle unprepared. It took time and energy to make certain that your equipment worked properly. Moving with praciticed skill, he readied himself for the battle ahead. all he waited on now, was he direct order (hint hint)

OoC: Sorry everyone! I've been kinda...you know...busy these days. Also, Sokka, it's Matis, and Ostia. >_>
BiC: Everyone had just left the room, except Sokka, who had decided to take him as some sort of king. Something which he was not.
"No need for that, since I'm not who you should be bowing down to." With that, he helped Sokka stand up, and signaled Sokka to follow him.
Going through the courtyard, Matis saw Alan giving the troops some orders. Matis nodded at him, and shortly after, the troops took off for Santaruz. Since they were going in big groups, it would take them longer to get there. Matis and the rest were to depart that very evening, but since their group was small and way faster, it would only take them a couple of hours to get to Santaruz.
Matis led Sokka to the barracks, and told him to rest until the evening, and he would wake everyone once the time to go was right.
