Well, it's almost 1:00pm, so I think I'm just going to stay here for a while. Maybe take a look at the market," Katara said, "this part of Lycia is nice. It's quiet."

"It's ok, but I rather be in Sacae right now. I'm going to be looking at what's some of the shops and find where exactly we are. I'll catch you later Katara, oh when we meet up later let's just go to the inn I pointed out before." Kenshin waved as he started to walk off.

Katara waited and watched Kenshin leave. When he was gone, she wnet up to the room. There were a few beds, a table, a dresser, and an icebox. The perfect place to store food until she needed it. Katara strolled through the market, looking at the vendors wares. She decided on chicken for the soup, it was less expensive and looked good. She had also bought some potateos and carrot, just like she needed. After grabbing some surplus celery, she saw a strange cloth hut. She walked over and in through the shaded cloth.
"Hello, child," a woman said, " whould you like Nina to read your foutune?" "Yes, where is she?" Katara asked. "Nina is right here, child," the woman said, luaghing and pointing to herself, "sit down and let me take a loook at your palms," she added. Katara sat in a cushy chair in from of the table Nina sat at. She held out her palm. Nina looked at her palm and traced some of the lines and fingerprints patterns. sShe pointeed to a long, half-circle one near her thumb. "this one mean long life, child,' Nina said. She kept looking, and them let go. "I see a great romance in your future. A strong man he'll be, one of great mind and heart," Nina said, "but I also see great strife. A death of someone close to you, closer then the man you will romance with, draws near if you are not weary," as she wnent on with her perdctions, Katara began to think about it. But she drove the thought out of her mind. "Thank you," she said as she left. "No prolem, child," Nina said, smiling.

Kenshin was walking around the town looking at the shops there was. He found what he was looking for, a pub. Kenshin looked around the room and found what looked to a bard. He aproached him "Are you a story teller?" Kenshin asked. "Why yes I am." the man replied. "Ok, do you know of any of the recent events?" The man looked like he was pondering on something. "Why yes, Ostia was attacked and destoried by a single man from what I've heard. Some says it's Roland."
Kenshin's eyes grew large. "How far is Ostia from here?" The man took out a map. "Well we're right here and Ostia's here so you don't have to worry about him attacking." Kenshin nodded. "Thanks for the information." The man smiled "Don't mention it, but now you owe me a favor since I gave you information." Kenshin started to head toward the door. "I'm sorry, we never agreed on anything so I owe you nothing." The man snapped his fingers, seconds after two big men were gaurding the door so Kenshin couldn't leave.

Kenshin flipped his sword as he took it out. So he would strike with the dull part of the blade. "If you two don't get out of my way you'll both end up on the ground." "Har har har, your a puny little man yet you think you can beat both of us?" Kenshin's eyes scanned the room. He started to back up. "Ha look at that, he's scared of us."
Kenshin stood waiting for them to get closer. From nowhere there was a peirceing pain in his left shoulder. "Forget about me?" Mocked the bard. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU GUYS THINK YOU'RE DOING" Shouted the bartender who owned the place. The two men who were blocking the door got around Kenshin so the three had him surrounded. Some people who didn't want to be there just in case they got hurt during the fight ran out of the building.
"I wanted to avoid getting blood on my clothes since it would be rude to meet somebody looking like this. To think I was going to let you guys escape with your lifes too." Kenshin attacked the bard, as he swung his blade he turned it back the way it should be. The bard blocked Kenshin's sword with his dagger. Kenshin turned hitting one of the guy's bodygaurds, causeing him to stumble backwards.

OoC:Just incase anybody's wondering it's not the class bard, it's story teller what bards really was.
Turning around Kenshin blocked the dager. One of the other two men swung his axe at Kenshin, jumping out of the way Kenshin avoided the attack. An arrow hit Kenshin in the left arm as it flew past one of the guys attacking him. "I'm sorry" said a trembleing bar tender who was trying to help Kenshin.
Kenshin barely had enough time to get the arrow out before they launched another attack. Kenshin did a backflip avoiding the axe, he then sprung forward apon landing and nearly cut him in half with his sword. An arrow flew into the back of the guy Kenshin just hit killing him.

Kenshin looked at the remaining two, both unharmed. The bigger guy came chargeing in at Kenshin, he side stepped and brun his sword down cutting his arm. Kenshin had almost no room to move so the bard lunged towards him with his dagger hitting him.

Katara walked along the streets of the village as the sun satrted to get low in the sky. She suddnely heard loud noses form a nearby bar. Then, a flock of terrified people ran out. Katara grabbed one by the arm, "whats going on in there?" she asked him "A big barfight. They're actually using weapons!" the man said. "Who?" Katara asked. "these two big guys and a storyteller just randomly attacked the red-haiedr Sacean guy!" the man said. he wriggled free of Katara's gasp and ran away. "Kenshin!" she yelled, trowing herself at the door of the bar, which was shut tight. She kept hitting the door, with body and sword, until it gave a final heave and fell in. Katara entered the bar to see a seen of mass chaos. One axeman ly dead, while Kenshin and another man, persumably the bartender, fought the bard and another muscely guy with an axe. She took out her sowrd and headed towards the last axeman. She was behind him, so she had the advantage. Jumping up, she hit him on the head with the hilt of the sword, stunning him. "Kenshin!" she said, seeing the arrow in his shoulder.

OoC:I took the arrow out.
BiC:"Katara, I can handle these two." Kenshin rolled aross the table so he wasn't in a tight space. The guy flipped the table to make a path to get to Kenshin. Kenshin then did another backflip to avoid his attack then sprung forward gutting the man.(OoC:The back flip then springing forward is my crit) Once again the bartender had bad aim and hit Kenshin again. "Who's side are you really one."
The bard noticed he was going to be fighting three people so he dropped his dagger and got on his knee's. "Please, please don't kill me. I was told that you were an evil person and I thought I would repent for my past sins if I killed you" Kenshin kept his sword pointed towards him. "Who told you that I was evil?" "I think he said his named was Kc, he said he seen you kill a whole ship of people for fun."
OoC:Great, Kc gave me this idea and he hasn't shown up for the past week or so. I'll try emailing him in a few.

"KC? that traitorous--!" Katara stopped herself, "Kenshin, this man has been mislead. Sir, the ship was full of mages out for our blood," she added. "We should find KC before he gets all of Lycia against us," she finished.

"Are you okay?" She asked Kenshin as she got ready to leave.

"I'll be fine, you don't have to worry about me. Now go enjoy your day please, for me." Kenshin started to help clean up the mess he had created. Kenshin joked around with the bartender as he started to pick up a couple of chairs. "Where did you learn how to shoot that thing, I think you need to do something about the one who thought you how to aim."

Katara walked back to the inn, thinking about what the night's dinner with Kenshin would bring. When she got the the room, she stowed the food in the icebox and examined the kitchenette. It had a stove, a cutting counter, and sink, a a cupboard with some cooking utensils, including a large pot that would be great for soup. "Man, this is one good inn," Katara said.
Katara brought her bag into the bathroom. She reached to the bottom of it, pulling out something wrapped in white tissue paper. "Mother... if there was any good time for this, it is now," she whispered. Carefully unwrapping the paper, she revealed a beautiful dress. It was a blue color, with white laced hems and wide sleeves. Wait until Kenshin sees me in this, Mother, she thought. The dress fit perfectly. Katara spent the remainder of her time in the bathroom fixing her hair up. She tried a bun, pigtail, nothing seemed right. She finally settled on one long braid with loops in the front. When she looked into the mirror, she didn't see herself. She saw her mother's features. "If only you could see me now..." a tear slid down her face, smuding her eye makeup. "Oh..." she said, fixing it.
She walked out into the lobby of the inn, waiting for Kenshin to come. Then, a man walked up to her and said, "Sabrina? Is that you? Where have you been all these years? You look like you haven't aged a minute." Katara was stunned. Sabrina was her mother. "I...I'm not Sabrina. I'm Katara, her daughter," she said. "Oh, tell her I said hello," the man said, "My name is Othello." "Sir Othello, I am sorry... but my mother... passed... over four years ago," Katara replied. "Oh," Othello said. He looked said, "I always was too late... She had met Saul... I loved her, you know. It breaks my heart all over again to hear of he death," he said. "I'm sorry..." Katara said. "I guess that's life... Have fun, wherever you going all dressed up," Othello said. Then he left, the glimmer of tears brimming in his eyes.
