Monk Training Start! (For Delroy)

Delroy had been meditating for almost a month. He was stubborn, and would not give up. Finally, he heard the call. "Come, my child." Delroy opened his eyes. An ancient priest stood before him. "You have powers, yes? Do you heal the wounded and brave, or do you smite evil with Holy rightiousness?" "Father, I belive I smite." The priest raised an eyebrow. "Then, attack me, and start your training." Delroy was confused."But... father, I do not wish to harm you!" "Attack me! Do not worry, I will not fight back." Delroy sighed, gathered his energy, and the "LIGHTNING!". The light shot from his hand, and hit the priest right in the chest. The priest winced for half a second, Then laughed. "AGAIN!"

Delroy repeatedly bashed the priest with attacks, but all his attacks barely harmed him. Delroy became mad, and finally he unleahed a blow unlike the rest. He felt the power of countless dieties coarsing through his viens. His pale eyes grew white, and his hands moved of thier own accord. The odd necklace he had found was white hot, and a giant beam of light enveloped the whithered man. The priest stood up, and took a swig of his vulnerary. "You.. have been marvelous. Your skill amazes me. It is unusual in one so... unrefined. You will be tutored by me, and shall be granted full scholorship." Delroy thanked the man, and walked to his room where he slept soundly.

Delroy woke up wondering where he was. He looked at his bed side table where a note was waiting for him, along with a small pouch. Training for today will be delayed. Here is a gift for your troubles. Do not wander out of the area. Curiosity swept delroy as he opened up the bag. Out fell a ruby the size of his fist.

Delroy returned from his shopping, and was wandering the halls of the school aimlessly, when he over heard his master talking. "...ost a waste, talent like his being drafted into the army. The poor idiot beig raised for slaughter." A new voice emerged, cool and smooth. "But it is the way it must go. The ignorant farmer thinks he's special, and then dies... what's his life but a fill in for the next recruit?"
Delroy's eyes widened in shock. He ran to his room, grabbed his things, and in a minute, was gone.
