Name: Raen Class*: Archer Hair Color: Red Eye Color: purple
Appearance: A figure better suited to the shadows of a forest with a gaze that sizes up everyone and a determined expression fixed on his face. Roughly 6' and thin in frame, he has sloping shoulders and enough muscle to disappear up a tree or use his dagger, normally hidden in his boot, if need be. Clothes: Wearing a loose fitting shirt, chaps made of animal skin, and a bandana on top From: A Nomadic tribe around the region of Sacae
Story***: Raen had wandered around Sacae with the Earth Leopard tribe, the Manase, until he decided to settle down in the town of Falj(west of bulgar). Not long after, Raen became friends with Saru, another young warrior who came from the earth leopard tribe. The pair decided to head off to Delfia, but a week before setting off bandits raided the town and burned it to the ground. Raen was separated from Saru and now searches for him in the Sacae region.

Let me remind you, though, that your dagger is not "usable" per se. It may be used for things such as hunting animals, litting a fire, or things like that, but not as a weapon(this all makes it awkward, though. Why would you use your knife to kill an animal, but not a human?).
Sorry for the inconvenience.

What if you say the character can use it, but the character doesn't gain any experience?
Meh, just throwing out an idea.
EDIT: Or 1 experience, like a dodge? >_>

That's not for me alone to decide. And we haven't seen Kenshin post in some days now.

I know the knife discussion is rather old, but you could use it as an environmental type kill, such as rolling a boulder on someone or what not. There are rules in place for the EXP from that...

Of course. But it would be unfair, as he can get experience even when he doesn't have his weapon on him(for whatever reason), at any point in time.
Those that did not start with said knife would be at a disadvantage.
