(Some where over Nabatan/Lycian skies)
"Hey Aeros, did I ever tell you that your the only person I've ever let call me 'Tut' besides my brother Manis?" Tuatara asked while digging through Bob. "Do you have any Family?... I can't find that family portrait I put in Bob before I left Bulgar!!... Where is it?...I gotta go to the bathroom."
OoC:Yes its kind of random, but I thought i should put more than the story about Tut's name.

Aeros had, from the moment he had consented for Tuatara to join him those years--had it really been years?--ago, been resigned to the thief's overly talkative, neurotic personality. So it was no surprise when, while Manuel and Komodo rested during the long flight, Tuatara sat near Aeros' head, making small talk. Did the manakete need to know about Tut's family? Of course not. Might it be interesting? Possibly, but they weren't exactly in the best position to have a conversation: Tuatara sat behind Aeros' head (which he had been asked repeatedly to stay away from during flight, but which Aeros was resigned to let him stay). Never-the-less...
"No, I don't know about your brother Manis, I call you Tut because Tuatara seemed like a ridiculous name when I first met you. Whether I have a family or not is irrelevant, since I have roughly eight years of memories, none of which have anything to do with any other manakete but Aerious and the dragon I fought five years ago. The family portrait needs to wait, since rummaging in the satchel could knock you off. And no, you don't need to go to the bathroom, or I'll drop you on purpose. We'll be setting down in about five minutes, once I find a good place." It wouldn't be the end of it, but ignoring Tuatara's questions would do nobody any good, so answering them made sense.

"Manis was all about being the greatest swordsman, caring more about the use of his sword than his speed or strength. So...whats this Rayl guy like that you wanna go see after we get Manuel home? Hey, where do you think Bob came from?"
Talking about Manis and Bob's where-abouts began to bring back old guilt and memories that he wished he could forget. But talking about them made him feel like a great weight was starting to lift of his shoulders.

Something about Tuatara's voice suggested that Aeros humor him. He didn't mind talking about Rayl to him, either, since the manakete fuzzily rememberd the thief being unconscious and rescued by Rayl... "I'm not sure if we will see Rayl, it depends on what news we get. If it sounds safe or he's close by, we'll see. But he's the one that rescued you outside that city you stole the chickens from. Some of the others were for killing you and leaving you in the city, but he convinced them to dump you in an alley instead." It might not seem particularly generous worded that way, but Tuatara would take it with a grain of salt. "If you have to, tell me about Manis and the sack." One thing he refused to do was refer to the satchel as "Bob", but it didn't matter.

"Alright, I'll tell the story but its kinda long." Tuatara cleared his throat. "I made my way through a crowd and stopped in front of a stall with lots of people surrounding it. A man was showing off a bag. It was a magic bag the man said, and people watched as he pulled large items out of it. "This bag can hold whatever you want on it, any size or shape, one-hundred or two-hundred, any color. And depending on the owner, it changes shape," the man announced. To show it was true, the man had his assistant drop a very large poleaxe in and the crowd watched it disappear. "Lies!" Someone called out. The assistant then pulled the axe back out. Then he handed the bag to the assistant and it changed from a dark bag to a burlap sack.
"The Mayor of Bulgar himself touched this bag, and it turned into a golden bag made of silk!" the man said again. The crowd started cheering "Orpheus! Orpheus!" over and over. He bowed and a ring flashed in the sunlight. Now that's more like it! "Tut!" I heard. "Tuatara Yamen!" It was my family's servant calling for me. Quickly I rushed after Orpheus and prepared to steal the ring.
I followed Orpheus to his room and waited around the corner for him to leave. A few seconds passed before I got bored and looked through my pockets. I found several coins, jewelry, and other valuables belonging to other people. My kleptomania showed up around my fifth birthday. My parents were worried I wouldn't become a lord, like my brother was training to be, and become a filthy thief and ruin the family name. Then at age 11, I was on my way to becoming a professional thief. Just then, Orpheus left his room and I went to work.
When I got in the room after using my lock-pick, I realized the ring wasn't there, but on Orpheus' finger. So I decided to steal the magic bag. As soon as I touched it, it turned into a satchel. Amazed, I ran off with it back to my house.
'Where is it!' I heard Orpheus scream. 'Get that boy!' Orpheus yelled at someone. I looked back and saw a mere looking out the window to Orpheus' room and then to my surprise, jumped out the two story window and landed in the street. Without breaking a stride, he ran after me.
The man had a huge sword strapped to his back, and was covered by a shield that looked like a kite. And on his side was and axe, gleaming with death all over it. I ran from the man and through crowd after crowd. I ran into a side street and decided to stop after I thought I had lost the mere. Suddenly, the man ran off the street and after me. I took my sword out of my scabbard and tried to fight the man. My blade was met with the axe and I fought him for a while. I was a pretty good swordsman, not as good as Manis by the way this man fought. I thought Manis would be out classed. The man then hooked my sword between the blade of his ax and its handle. And my sword flew through the air.
I pulled random things out of the satchel and he took it and left. Then I went home. A couple of days later, I accidentally stole a family heirloom and my parents chased me out of the city and told Manis I had died. And then, Manis was the only person before you that I let call me Tut."
OoC: Jeez, I had to revise the original of this story because it was really long and it was in third person. Hope Y'all like it.

With Tuatara's rapid speech, the story took only a few moments. After it, the night was silent except for Aeros' wing-beats and the common night noises--the time had passed quickly. Manuel and Komodo still seemed to be asleep, amazingly ignorant of the tiny amount of space and the dragon's gradually tiring wing-beats. They would only sleep for short while longer, however; three passengers, even with two of them undersized, proved themselves more than the young manakete could handle for long periods of time, even for only five minutes longer. I have to pay this debt, but I never counted on picking up an extra passenger. After this, though...no use. I need to sleep. Flying exhausted his dragonstone, anyway, so the time had come to make camp. "Wake up the others. Try not to knock anyone off or jostle around too much. I'm landing." Without waiting for an answer, Aeros spiraled gently down to the sparse forest that stood between Lycia and Nabata. What a story to end day with. If only I had a story of my own to tell. What happened happened; memory played only a small part of the manakete's life, and this was one part. The events that came next would come the way they were meant to.
