Name: Antebi Saragid
Class: Cavalier -> Paladin
Stats/Growths: Sain
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Blue
Age: 19
Appearance: Standing at just about five and a half feet tall, this young woman, Antebi, is of slightly above-average height. Her long, straight, unkempt brown hair is tied back in a haphazard ponytail that has a habit of coming undone on a semi-regular basis, sending it falling back down in front of her bright blue eyes and slightly boyish face. The thick plates of armor that cover her body and protect her from harm also prevent all but the most general speculation about her body type, though it's probably a safe assumption that she's got something of a sturdy, athletic build.
And what is a cavalier without her horse? Antebi's partner and companion is a swift, strong breed of courser with chestnut hair and the name "Artemis", from an ironic nickname her rider received as a squire.
Clothes: There is little attire on Antebi's form not obscured by the thick padding and bright, emerald green plates of steel armor.
Story: Antebi was born the daughter of a blacksmith, who thankfully suffered very little for being raised by only one parent. The majority of her childhood friends were aspiring squires, and several of the knights were like uncles to her, so it was little surprise to anyone when she expressed interest in taking up sword and lance herself. Neither an eldest nor an only child, the burden of continuing the family trade was not on her shoulders, and her mother gladly approved her training.
Years passed, and Antebi learned the ways of chivalry, of horsemanship and combat, and the interplay between the two, with but a single notable interruption: the war and subsequent destruction in Ostia. Tales of suffering innocents, and thriving evil in a formerly great house spurred her to redouble her efforts. So many people had died completely helpless, with no one to stand for them. Next time a crisis rose, she swore, she'd be ready, and she would protect the people in need.
She did not have to wait long. Word of the prophet of St. Elimine invading Sacae reached the young woman's ears, and she knew that this was it. Her training was not yet totally complete, but she wasn't going to sit around for two seasons drilling sword thrusts and parries while the plains burned. She would grab whatever she and her mare could carry, and ride northeast. And she did.
