"S-Sunny?!"
Setsuna was more caught off guard by the sudden nickname, but she just humbly accepted it with a bow of her head, accompanied by a sigh. Clutching her book, she looked down at the ground, and noticed that the group was leaving, while she had been stuck in a slight daze. With a quickness to her step, she caught back up, but mostly remained silent, as was her way, though, she did listen quite intently.
Following in the wake of Garnet's hospitality, by keeping that door open, she walked slowly inside the tavern, and looked around. her belly grumbled a little more, but only because it was enticed by the wonderful aroma of the kitchen.
"I'm unsure what I'll have...probably whatever they already have prepared..."
Setsuna trailed off as she looked at the growing mob of people beginning to bully another man, but what she heard, in her mind, they seemed to have a point to be upset. Still, she remained quiet, and watched for the time being.

Elias sniffed in the air like a hungry dog, completely goofy grin as usual, he turned his head towards the place they were heading. He didn't know the place, but it looked worthy enough for Elias to stop at, plus, y'know, free food. He thought for a moment, carefully planning what to have, a process that is long, confusing, and absolutely filled with red. So the details will be spared, at risk of becoming a jumbled unreadable mess.
A nice juicy steak, eh? That wasn't a red food, he must be so incredible that he didn't need to eat red food to keep his position! Probably because of his name, he got bonus points for just existing. Stupid Elias. What does that mean anyways? Ee Lie Us. A man named E lies to us? Oh no! He doesn't know any Es but what if he did!? That would be terrible, he'd be all 'lie lie lie lie' and Elias wouldn't even notice because he would be wearing a fancy red mantle just like everyone in his daydreams do.
No, Elias wouldn't be tricked so easily! He was an incredibly astute man, the Crimson Lie-Detector! That curly haired man over there was lieing! Elias could tell! He should go over there and confront him. Stupid people trying to lie to Elias. He was too smart for that.

A mob had formed over in the back of the room. Doggonit! Is a fight going to start every time I come to one of these places? He listened. He didn't agree with every bit of what the man said, but what was more important right then, was that there was a fight brewing right where his meal was supposed to be. This wouldn't do at all.
One of the angry men attacked, and Garnet thought he was doomed to wait until after this whole thing cleared up for his meal, but apparently the monk knew how to fight. He dropped the man with a knee to the gut.
"May the next blind follower please step forward."
The crowd looked like it wanted to suge forward, but the blond-haired monk drew out his tome, causing them to halt. Having light magic turned their way was not something that any of these people wanted turned against them. There was still a chance to stop it. Garnet spoke up to his new friends. "Food fights aren't my thing. I'm going to put a stop to this."
Garnet stepped just far enough away from Suna, and Red to be separate from them. If this went sour, maybe they wouldn't get caught up in it. "He's Right!" The normally hushed merc's voice boomed across the tavern, and most turned to look at him.
"Elimine may show us the way, but do you think she'd wish her followers to be witless? To be mere dogs, incapable of thinking for ourselves?" The scorn in his voice for those who refused think was clearly evident, much different from his usual speech patterns. His words now were laced with confidence, and an authority born of that confidence. "Those who refuse to think, do nothing but lip service to the Saint....More over, I seriously doubt St Elimine approves of fighting in the tavern. It only ruins good food, and Elimine wouldn't wish that on the poor innkeep."
There it wasn't exactly in line with the other man's "believe only what you believe" but it would be close enough to settle a few of them down. The last bit seemed to have confused them again though. Why had this red-haired swordsman had to remind them about the food! It ruined the fun of the barfight.
Some of the dozen or so people headed back to their tables, either laughing, or puzzling over what was said. A few looked thoughtful. Others seemed unconvinced.
"If you can't be persuaded to be at peace, then I suppose we'll have to take this outside." Garnet didn't need to crack his knuckles, or neck, or anything of the sort. His face and tone were enough to set the atmosphere for the bar.

A man slightly larger than Nathaniel stepped in and took up for him. Nathaniel was quite surprised. Nathaniel decided he shouldn't drag an innocent man into his problem. So making sure the mob didnt notice he sent a ball of light toward the ceiling.
He said "My friend I'll handle this problem." He stepped toward the man in front and said, "Were both good men how about we settle this like the diplomats on their high horses?" Taking out a coin and not mentioning he was born a high horse son of a diplomat.
"Call it, you get it I'll leave this fine establishment. However I do, I stay." He said as he flipped it. It fell on the ground. It landed on heads.
But the globe of light played a trick on the coin so it shown as tails. All the men sat down at their individual tables and simmered in anger. He neede a way to repay the man.
Nathainel had no place to go so he went to the table the man had stood up from and didn't worry if he came too. He sat down and took a quick swig from his bottle of liquor. He said, "Thank you that was a great think you did. Would you like a drink?" He checked his bottle, too late. " Oh well suppose I'll have to pay you back some other way. I'll need your alls names and to know where your headed."

Erasmus sat motionless in a seat near the back of the bar, quietly flipping through his tome. The ancient literature would be indecipherable to a normal individual, but after his intense training with the acolytes of Delfia, Erasmus found it relatively simple to understand.
He had arrived here not too long ago, and had decided to rest his tired limbs. He had decided against ordering an alcoholic beverage, since even a small glass could affect his judgement. Instead, he ordered a glass of water, which sat on the table half empty in front of him.
The young acolyte's mind was ablaze with various incantations, attempting to memorize each and every one of them. As Erasmus continued to browse his tome, he overheard a heated conversation nearby.
Violence? Intimidation? Verbal assault? Surely St. Elimine would disapprove of this. How blind and blackhearted these people are. Erasmus's thoughts seemed to echo throughout his mind. The acolyte was tempted to intervene, but he was not one to act rashly. These people call themselves followers of St. Elimine? Such disrespect. How dare these wretches defile her glory...
As Erasmus finished assessing the situation, he noticed another man speaking. This man had red facial hair, and he seemed angry. Although Erasmus couldn't hear all of his words over the shouting, the young acolyte was able to grasp a basis of the red-haired man's statement.
"St. Elimine may show us the way... think she'd wish her followers to be witless? Those who refuse to think..."
The red-haired man's words seemed to swarm Erasmus's ears like a horde of angry wasps. Although some parts seemed muffled, the young acolyte knew that this man was indeed a follower of St. Elimine.
As Erasmus watched the following events ensue, he contemplated whether or not he should intervene.

Setsuna was quiet for the most part, other than a few discontented sighs on her part. In no way was the monk's trick subtle to her, she knew what he did, and wasn't all that impressed that he had gone back on his word with that misguidance...not good etiquette at all.
Setsuna did her own thing, seeing the long blonde hair of the man sitting in the corner, she felt her heart leap. He looked so serene, like a true acolyte of faith, perhaps an angel or something like that. She was a bit smitten, since he seemed more proper to enjoy the benefits of being close to Elimine by serving her word. Smiling, she made her way over to this man, and took a chair from a table to his side, and pulled it up to his.
"Hello."
It was a simple greeting, casual and to the point. She set her own tome on the table, and rested her hands upon the large book. Looking back over her shoulder at the rest of her party, but it was brief. If she was unwanted for company, she would do her part and leave the man alone, but for the time being, she indulged herself, keeping a small smile upon those narrow lips, trying to forget what just happened in the back of the tavern.

"Hello."
Erasmus was somewhat startled by the greeting. Looking to his left, he saw a young teal-haired woman sitting next to him, grinning.
The young acolyte shut his tome, then greeted the newcomer. "Oh, hello", was his response. It was a concise answer, as he was not prepared to meet anyone at the moment.
Erasmus was somewhat tempted to tell the young woman that he was busy, but something familiar caught his eye. She was clutching a tome similar to his, and her robes were definately Etrurian. He now knew why she wanted to speak with him.
Erasmus felt his face grow red, yet still retained his confidence. "Your robes... I know that design well. And the tome you're holding. It's a symbol of light magic. Are you... an Etrurian acolyte?"
With his heart pounding, Erasmus awaited the woman's response. Erasmus's question seemed slightly invasive, but he couldn't word it any other way. He had to find out exactly who she was, however, before he could proceed with the conversation.
Despite the heated events that were still taking place, Erasmus focused all of his attention on the young woman.

And there was, yet, another empty table in the far back; unnoticed, as it had been for the past few minutes, and there was nevertheless a soldier sitting by himself.
Or more accurately, Gezka was a ex-soldier of Etruria, and it didn't seem to his benefit to mess with these people now in the tavern. A load of them there were sure, and Gezka told himself it would be best to keep quiet.
His head - all but his mouth - was concealed under his scarf, which was a makeshift hood when needed. He lounged back against his seat, silently, and watched. His pale and worn armor to not glitter, thus, it did not attract attention. And so Gezka liked it... he didn't draw unnecessary attention.
Slowly and quietly, he pulled his hood down, revealing his one open, brilliantly shining cerulean eye, and the other that was still covered by a scar. Generally he kept it shut, as it still pained him to open it. Nonetheless, he quietly watched the group go about their business and wondered what in the world they could be doing here.

Somehow, things in the room settled down. Trusting things to the toss of a coin didn't seem like the best idea in the world to the merc, but, well, it had worked.
The blonde haired man man came over and joined them, asking their names, and complimenting Garnet on standing up. "I mostly did it to try and keep this place from becoming a brawler house. I've passed through plenty of those. My name's Garnet, these are my companions for the moment, Elias, and..." Garnet looked around. Setsuna seemed to have wandered off. Ah, there she is. In the back. "And that's Setsuna." He said, gesturing lightly towards the back before continuing. "No real destination. Just traveling." Despite his open-ness, Garnet still had to think like a hunted man. He wasn't expecting trouble just yet, but he still allowed himself just a hint of suspicion. "Right now, I'm just hoping for a short rest, and lunch. Care to join us?"
Thinking to himself, he found the man's reasoning a little faulty, or at least his wording was. Regardless, circumstances had set them together for the time-being. Idly, he waved over the tavern master from the bar. Once he got here, he'd order. He supposed the others would either order then, or look out for themselves. He'd still honor his offer to pay for the pair's lunches though.

Elias stayed uncharacteristically silence throughout the whole ordeal, mostly because... well... he simply didn't care. Which is surprising, since Elias cared about almost every little thing in the universe. However, Elimine was NOT one of those things he cared about. Her teachings, her church, her... blah, whatever. It was all just blah blah blah to him. So he stayed quiet, a bored glazed look in his eyes. It was surprising how much religion could destroy the fun of a bar fight.
When he heard his name, he didn't really acknowledge it and instead gave a small grunt. He was wanting to go to another bar at about this point.

"My name's Garnet, these are my companions for the moment, Elias, and..."
Gezka took note of this quietly, as he observed the group. So the red headed men were Garnet and Elias, and this Garnet seemed to lead the small group. Gezka smiled and chuckled upon observing Elias' lack of interest to the whole situation. "Hmmm..." Gezka said quietly to himself.
He shrugged his curiosity, and took a seat at the bar far from the others. He replaced his hood, shielding any identity, and double-tapped the bar table. The tender came, sliding a simple glass of cool water. Gezka sipped it slowly, savoring the taste of his favorite yet plain beverage.

Hearing her name by Garnet, Setsuna turned and gave a small wave, but after that, she returned her attention to the man at this table. Her violet eyes trailed over the book for some time, and then eventually looked back up to his, nodding in acknowledgment to his answer.
"I am indeed. I was trained by a priest in my home town. I'm not actually part of the Eturian cloister, however, situated in Delphi."
Setsuna couldn't help but blush, it was like saying that she was a messenger of the light, but with no real authority to do it. However, Setsuna believed she did, she was taught by someone who was, so why couldn't she? She had the good intentions.
"I just arrived with two others." Setsuna quickly pointed to both the red clad men, they were hard to miss afterall, being all red. "What about yourself? Oh right right, apologies, my name is Setsuna, I'm sorry for not first introducing myself."

Erasmus's predictions proved to be true. The young woman was indeed an Etrurian acolyte. She also explained that she was trained by a priest in her hometown and not actually a part of the clergy, yet still experienced.
Erasmus nodded, his lips forming a tiny smile. "Setsuna. I'll commit that name to memory. And mine is Erasmus."
The blonde-haired acolyte paused for a brief moment. He was tempted to ask about how she was trained, but he retained that question. Every teacher was different. As Setsuna continued speaking, Erasmus learned that she was traveling with two companions. These companions were revealed to be two red-clad men, one of them completely covered in crimson and the other was the red-bearded man who had so angrily spoke about how devout followers of St. Elimine should be.
Erasmus was then asked about how he arrived. "Truthfully, I traveled here alone. From Delphi, actually. My hometown, where I was trained. Ever since I completed my training, I realized that I wanted to witness the glory of the world with my own eyes, even if there is unrest in certain areas. Therefore, I am traveling all over Elibe, spreading the wise words of St. Elimine."
Erasmus completed his explanation breathlessly. That tiny smile formed yet again on his lips, somewhat timidly. After he caught his breath, he added in a request. "I would very much like to meet these companions of yours. I noticed you pointed out one person in particular. That man with the red beard... I overheard him shouting about St. Elimine and how her followers should conduct themselves. Judging from his clothing, he is clearly no acolyte. However... he has a certain diligence in him. If he is devoted to the divine hero, I would like to meet this man. And everyone else as well."

OoC: For future reference, Garnet is dressed as his avatar, having ditched his armor. That is, black/grey vest, and grey shirt.
BiC: After a moment, a server came over to collect Garnet's order. "I'd like a couple of "I'd like a porterhouse steak cooked medium, some potato wedges, and a dish of rolls." The server nodded, seeming to take it all in. "Now, do you have any non-alcoholic beverages?"
The man blinked at the red-headed merc. It wasn't often that he got someone as rapid fireas Garnet in his place."Well Sir, Lord Cornelian's orchards are nearby. We've just received a batch of apple cider. There's that, milk from the surrounding farms, water-"
"The Cider sounds delicious." The merc remembered drinking Cornelian's cider growing up, in his own town. "Can you take care of all that?"
"Yes, Good Sir. We'll have it out shortly." Garnet turned his attention away from the server, looking at the blond-haired acolyte.
"If you'll pardon my boldness, you've got some quirky beliefs, Monk." He still didn't have the other man's name, so monk would have to do. "What you said earlier, about believing only what you believe... Sounds like that's authorization to just pick pick and choose your beliefs." The mercenary couldn't believe that truth was so yielding.
He glanced over, at Elias, who'd seemed to get suddenly quiet. Garnet hadn't known the young man for long, but it didn't fit with the personality he'd profiled for the red guy. "You alright, Red?"
As he glanced around the room, Garnet glimpsed a man at the bar. That in itself wasn't unusual, but his hood being up was a bit odd. He didn't give much thought to it, but it still attracted a little of his attention.

Gezka sipped his water, letting his eyes drift carelessly around behind the bar. With his hood still up, he didn't worry about being spotted... but he had to be careful. If these were Etrurian militia, he'd be in big trouble.
But he felt as though he should trust what he felt about these men, and the fact that what he felt was no malice. He coughed quietly, not being able to hide his surprisingly masculine voice. He sipped his water again, but left the hood up. He spoke loud enough so that this man, Garnet, would catch the voice.
"You're a new face around here, yeah?"
