Syana nodded silently as Aidan spoke. It made perfect sense not to go risking their lives after an already stressful day. Rest and pick it up in the morning. With the speech ended, the mercenary slipped her sword off and leaned it up against a nearby rock. It was nice to be without that weight for a little bit. She stretched in place for a few seconds, limbering up her aching body, before looking around.
Her eyes drifted over Aidan and Lyar before setting on Saturos. She gave a silent sigh. They needed to talk, she needed to apologize for earlier. She moved over to him and tapped his arm with her fist again. "Hey, uh... Can we talk for a little bit?" She nodded her head away from camp. She liked the other two well enough but really didn't care to be overheard.

Saturos tilted his head inquisitively. What could she need to talk to him about that they couldn't speak about around the others. Nevertheless, he placed his rucksack on the ground next to the fire and followed his mercenary friend over to where she was nodding.
With an awkward shift, the myrmidon focused in on Syana. "So, what's up?" he asked.

Not taking her eyes off Saturos, Syana took a breath and began. "I wanted to apologize for earlier. The whole me being bitchy to you thing. It was a stupid thing to be mad about and I'm sorry." She knew she'd probably have to say what got her mad in the first place and that's why she wanted them to have their space. It wasn't the apology she didn't want the others to see, it was what followed. Not that she was embarrassed by it, but she though they deserved some privacy for the time being.

Saturos sighed. Good, she wasn't mad with him. "Oh, it's alright," he replied, scratching the back of his head. "Everyone has their days. I actually assumed it was your..." The myrmidon paused awkwardly. "Well never mind that. I'm just glad you're in a better mood." He grinned and patted Syana on the shoulder, then raised his eyebrows inquisitively.
"What was it, then, that you were so upset about?" Saturos asked. "Did I, uh, grab you when I was drunk? Because, well, I've been known to do that occasionally..." It was true. In one Etrurian village, Saturos was known as the, well, the "bandit" to be polite. Too many drunk cop-a-feels, though that only tended to happen when Saturos got really drunk, which was a rare event in and of itself.

Syana raised her eyebrows. "My what, Saturos?" But already knowing the answer, she didn't wait and simply punched him in the arm. Not too hard, but enough to make her point. Her eyebrows raised again at his revelation. "No, you didn't try to grab a feel. But I'll be on the lookout for that next time." She drew herself up a little before going on. "No, what you did was tell me the alcohol really brings out my eyes. I will let you know my eyes are always this nice. I'm good looking all the time, dammit, not just when you're drunk. Got it?" She finished, narrowing her eyes threateningly.

Saturos squinted, chuckling sheepishly as Syana punched him in the arm. Her eyes? The myrmidon vaguely remembered something about eyes. Clearly Syana managed to take a drunk compliment the wrong way.
"Heh, I got it, I got it," he said cautiously. He didn't want to upset the mercenary any more than he already, albeit unintentionally, had. "I was tipsy. I had a little too much of the bottle. It's a vice of mine. Cut me some slack." Saturos stared back at Syana and her narrowed gaze. He chuckled a bit. "You know, you may be good looking all the time," he said, sitting down on a rock, "but you're extra-cute when you try to threaten me."

A little smirk grew over Syana's face as she sat down on another rock. "Extra-cute, huh? Is this your way of flirting with me?" She gave a little laugh and shook her head. "I know it was a stupid thing to get upset about. It just... I dunno. Got to me." She scratched the back of her head in a sheepish way. "Like I said, I'm sorry about that. Not sorry for the punch on your arm, though. You deserved that one, Casanova."

"Guess I did," said Saturos, rubbing his arm. He'd been called a flirt before. "You could call it flirting," he said. "I think of it more as defusing a bomb." The myrmidon gave the red head a bit of a nod. She was a fiery one, just like her hair. "Clearly it worked. You seem much more cheerful. Much less ready to bite my head off."
And it was true. He wasn't really sure why Syana had gotten so upset over such an innocent comment. Maybe it really was her...no, that was such a cop-out for men who didn't want to deal with their womenly problems. "Is that all you wanted to talk about?"

Syana kept looking at the myrmidon, a curious look in her eyes. "So... you only said that to 'diffuse' me, not because you meant it?" The look wasn't angry this time. More like... hurt. She gave her head a little shake and stood up. "It's fine, forget it." She brushed herself off lightly. "I need to... go set up a tent... or something. Yeah. Um... sorry for taking up so much of your time." She tried to force a smile but it only came weakly. And the whole time, that look never left her eyes.

Saturos tilted his head, a slightly frustrated look on his face. This girl. It seemed she only listened to what he wasn't saying. "Did I say I didn't mean it?" he asked, though he already knew the answer. He got up from his rock and walked over to Syana, putting a hand on her shoulder, turning her towards him. "I don't say things I don't mean." He gave her a slight grin. "Are you calling me a liar?"

A small smile appeared on Syana's face. "No, you're no liar. I'm sorry... again." She put her face in her face for a seconds, rubbing her eyes a little. "I guess I'm just having a rough couple of days. I'll try not to be so touchy or whatever in the future. Well..." Her smile grew into a grin and she gave Saturos a wink. "Until next week, that is. That's when it starts." Her grin grew wider. "You know, that thing you keep assuming is causing all this." She let out a whistle. "I can get really bad during it. So watch out big guy." She gave another wink.

Saturos chuckled dryly. Oh, that would be fun alright. That would be fun. "I'll stay on my toes, Syana," he said. "Until then, I'll enjoy whatever pleasant conversation I can get." The swordsman rested a hand on the hilt of his blade, looking over his shoulder at the others. "Well, what say you we head back to camp? It's getting a little chilly over here and I could use a nice warm fire."

Syana gave a nod. "Yeah, let's go." She smiled at the myrmidon as they walked back over to the fire. She was glad they finally had a chance to talk and was happy with how things turned out. As she sat down in front of the fire and started to warm herself, then closed her eyes and tried to focus. She didn't want to get all over anxious or whatever like she had before again. Not to mention she was kinda tired. Oh well.
