Roland smiled and opened his mouth as if he was about to say something, but he was interrupted by a violent shaking of the ship. It almost knocked the slightly drunk man right off his feet, but he managed to keep his balance amazingly. He went to open his mouth again, to say something... but Guinevere opened hers first. It was like he time was slowed down for the simple sake of her vomitting all over his shirt. His GOOD shirt! No!!!! Why did the world hate him so!
He did his best to supress a twitching brow, a frantic and forced smile on his face. The kind of smile that someone has after they have a knife to their back and was commanded to smile. After the episode he slowly went to say something again, and she vomited. Again. The smell was unbearable, he felt the warm regurgitated food all over his chest. It was enough to make him puke back. He resisted, with a bit of effort, but not without getting the nasty taste of bile in his mouth. He was tempted to ask if she was done, or if he should go get his shoes for her to fill up. Instead he acted like it didn't bother him, it did. It really really did. On the bright side it sobered him up. Wait, that wasn't a bright side, he wanted to be drunk. But he wasn't quite drunk enough for that.
I hate the world. "It... it's alright... Gwen. It isn't your fault." It kinda wasn't, she couldn't control the tides or her seasickness... still his fancy shirt! Atleast it was just the shirt, not the pants. He pulled a handkerchief from his pocket, and using it as a shield for his hand, unbuttoned the soiled shirt, pulling the jacket and it's undershirt off. "I was saying..." He picked up again, trying to futilely wipe the vomit off his clothes with his handkerchief. He'd need a bucket of oranges to clean this.
"The good thing that came from this is..." The shirtless mercenary muttered, focusing on his clothes but giving up with a sigh. "I'll clean it later." He mentioned. "I finally got a chance to talk to you without being interrupted by... Hi Inigo." Him.

Saffra had had her fun. Even under the water, and through the sounds of the lurching sounds of wood, Saffra released it, but not as carefully as she had when she took hold, and let the boat lurch a little more than she had meant, her claws having gotten stuck on the very bottom of the boat as she meant to surface. Regarding the marks in the boat's under-surface, Saffra just gave a grimace, or as much of one as her dragon-features allowed.
Almost on cue with Inigio's predictions, a wave was given off as Saffra surfaced at the boat's side. She was not afraid of being seen, and being known. She had lived a long time in silence and seclusion, not telling anyone. Aerious had warned her against this, but as far as she was concerned, this was still a part of Lycia, wasn't it?
Water dripped from her horns, and snout, and took to looking over the boats crew. There was nothing subtle about this. She had been spotted earlier, by hearing the cries of the drunkard, and had taken them as a ruse being up. She however, did not know the man was intoxicated, and that no one would have believed him. What dumb luck.
Immediately, Saffra smelt the vomit, and looked towards Inigo, Roland and Guinevere, and let out a soothing, motherly chuckle. That was the way she was, and how she talked. Like a mother to a child.
"Oh dear...how unfortunate for your poor shirt."

That's right. Mernatel, Knight of Bern, Intoxicated, could defeat a pirate at arm wrestling. Usually his Bern pride would not be so enthralled, after all this man was Lycian. But he eventually, shouting his pride, made his way to the upper deck where the Etrurians, a Dragon and a fellow Drunk were. Just in time to see the Dragon change.
Normally Mernatel would of been surprised. Although he liked Dragons, wyverns, and lizards with wings. Things of that nature. The drunk Mernatel was not surprised at all. He walked over to that group of people a drunken grin on his face.
He introduced himself, "Hello Miss, I'm Mernatel." Woah that's alot of vomit! That sounded good to say in Mernatel's mind. "Woah that's alot of vomit!" he said as the sober bit of his mind spoke up. Mernatel I think you're drunk. He said thinking it was just in his mind, "I am drunk or I wouldn't be talking this calmly to a Dragon." He looked up barely realising his words had been aloud.

Guinevere was starting to feel better as Inigo rubbed her back, still not such why he was saying she had done good, but she really didn't care at this point. She pulled herself off of the side and slumped to the ground. She saw Roland trying to clean his shirt and felt a wave of guilt. She wanted to apologise again, but didn't think opening her mouth again would be a good thing. She just let her godfather rub her back for a little bit before she heard a loud noise and a large shadow fall over her. Looking up, she saw a dragon tower over her from the water. Her eyes widened at the sight. She had only seen one dragon before, and that was back when she had first met Rayl. But still, it was a shocking sight, even moreso when she started to talk! She opened her mouth to respond without thinking, but then she remembered why she had been keeping it closed on this stupid rocking ship. Poor Inigo, he never stood a chance being right next to her, helping her like he was. She was able to gasp an apology to him before sealing her mouth again, but he was already covered and the damage was done. This was just not her day.

The rocking intensified a bit, as Grayson walked in. "I thought it was just normal waves until things picked up like this. We should probably see what's going on up there." Aaron said, aiming his thumb back up on deck.
Inigo's remarks set Aaron at ease a bit more. At least they wouldn't be so proud that they wouldn't except aid. At least that was what it sounded like coming from Inigo.
Aaron climbed to the deck, a little behing his mustached companion, but still there soon enough to catch sight of Gwen's redecorating of Roland's shirt. "Uhh...." Aaron's sickness threatened to comeback at that, and he elected to stay near the center of the ship.
"Oh dear...how unfortunate for your poor shirt."
Aaron heard the voice, but didn't recognize it. "Where did that voice come from?" Man, if he was sick enough to be hearing things....
Just then, he heard Mernatel talking some more nonesense about talking to a dragon, and walked over. "Mernatel, you were right down in the hold. No more drinking for you. Ok?" Then the mage looked down and saw the Draconic head in the water, and his mind kicked into overdrive, pulling up all the things he'd heard in the past, about dragons. It mostly involved tales of the scouring, dragon slayers of years past, Crowley's legends, and most recently, some rumor about Pherae granting acceptance of dragons.
It was an incredible sight, which he counted himself lucky to see, but he was also fairly scared as well. "Are you... You're a dragon. I'm not sick am I? I'm just..." Aaron was so amazed, stunned, and half a dozen other descriptors, that mostly his mouth just hung open. "Wow... Her scales are so beautiful." Trust Aaron to be overcome with wonderous events and beautiful sights when he ought to be panicking. Actually, he didn't even notice Gwen's resurgence of tossing the salad.

Suddenly, people were panicking infront of him, rushing to grab weaponry or just plan running in circles in panick...Inigo stood there blankly, before catching a whiff of something in the air...two things actually, one was the smell coming from the-
ughh...These were fine leather boots imported from Sacaen leatherworkers! He'd be much angrier, but given gwen's condition, he'd chastise her later, the second smell he couldn't place, until he felt water dripping onto his head, and slowly...SLOWLY looking up did he see the maw of the dragon...and then it spoke...
If it could, Inigo's mustache would be frowning along with his mouth, as his right hand made nervously for the rapier at his hip: of course it was a foolish thing to do, but COULD YOU BLAME HIM. He'd heard rumors of dragon sightings, and there was that recent declaration from Marquess Pherae and dragons given amnesty, but...they were just outside Pheraen waters...
...suddenly he was feeling sick also, but managed to keep it in as he turned around and backed slowly away, reaching for Guinevere's arm with his free hand, watching Aaron and Mernatel with wide eyes," Yes...yes, they are beautiful, now lets find a way to be rid of it, shall we?"

"Yes, it's a pity. These were my dress clothes too, but I'll survive." He spoke with the voice without looking away from his shirt. With a small grumbled he continue. "It's alright though, I know a great homemade stain re...move...er..." He turned his head as he spoke, only to find the person he was talking to was a dragon. "A dragon. You know... I really should be more surprised." He said with a sigh. Maybe he was drunker then he thought? Nope, everyone else saw it too, well then.
Gwen upchucked again, this time on Inigo. Well atleast something good happened today. "So, Ms. Dragon. I'm assuming you're a miss from your voice, is there anything we can do for you?" Freaking out would do nothing useful at a time like this. If she wanted, she could capsize the entire boat and kill them all, it was times like this it paid to be polite. There had been word that dragons have recently started to be seen again in the world, so the fact one existed wasn't too much of a shocker. He just hoped it was a nice dragon, not one who would viciously murder them and eat their corpses.

Wyatt learned many things on this voyage. One was when sailors say they want you to work for the trip to pay your ticket, holy hell do they mean work. Even in the year working for Master Sirus, he'd never been this tired in his life. Lifting boxes, moving crates filled with what he suspected were weapons, rolling barrels. They wouldn't let him line handle, afraid he'd kill himself, or worse, break the ship. But that didn't mean there was any lack of work to do. Stories may have showed sailors as a relaxed and friendly lot, but boy did they have a rough job!
Another thing he learned is that the effects of sea sickness are drastically lowered when you are closer to the water line. And so Wyatt sat in the hull of the boat, taking a brief break from his work. It was done, for the time being. He knew they had some passangers, but he hadn't seen them yet. He'd been down here working since he boarded.
At least until the ship took a rather heavy lurch to the side. Commotion on the deck caused his attention to be drawn from his rest.
"Hey newbie!" One of the sailors shouted. "Get topside an' secure the cargo!" He commanded. Wyatt was to his feat with a small sigh.
"You got it!" He responded with more energy then he felt, bolting up from the hold. He climbed the ladders and emerged into the bright sunlight, squinting for a bit as he tried to get his bearings. There were a lot of people on the deck, probably the passengers...and there was a lot of commotion too. His eyes slowly adjusted, and the first figure he saw he was surprised to say he recognized.
"Aaron?! It is you isn't it?" He asked. Dumb question, of course it was. It may have been a bit, but he would never forget his first adventure. After all, he'd nearly died.

Aaron heard another voice speak to him. This one familiar.
"Aaron?! It is you isn't it?"
Reluctantly, the mage turned from the dragon, only to see the last of the ghosts of his first mistake standing before him, whole and alive.
"Wyatt? What are you- Look at you! You've got some real muscle on you now." The shock of finding one of his old companions drove out some of the thoughts about the dragon nearby. Not all, but, well, what was Wyatt doing here.
"The last time I saw you...." Laus. Right before the fire. "I'm glad that wasn't the end of you." Aaron moved towards the man, offering his hand. "How'd you get here?" The Green-haired mage cocked his head to one side, quizzically, wondering what could have brought the young smith onto a boat bound for Bern.

She sure did draw attention, and why wouldn't she? She's a rare, well, uncommon sight around the world. She would address them all at once, once she figured out on how to get onto this boat without sinking it...Blinking at the railing, she raised her wings a little, after pushing off a bit from the side of the boat, and with a powerful flap of her wings, she went into the air, but then quickly continued the flapping her wings so she would not fall back into the water. Once out, she moved over the boat, and allowed her human to take form while in the air, only with her wings remaining.
She landed aboard the boat, and tucked her wings in against her back, and grinned a little, her yellow eyes looking back and forth between the others, still a little amused with the whole vomit trend that everyone seemed to be wearing.
She was first going to address the boy in the green hair, but he seemed a bit distracted once another came aboard from below deck. She recognized the young fighter, but their meeting had only been very brief. Did she ever get his name? No matter. Her eyes went over Mernatel, and chuckled, recalling what he had said.
"I think dear, you may perhaps be both of those things.."
With a warm smile, she now looked at Gwen, Roland and Inigo. Only the men spoke to her, and she decided to start off with Roland, since well, they shared a common concern.
"No, there really isn't. I just need to rest, is all.."
That was when her eyes met Inigo, and in no manner of subtlety, watched as he was prying for his Rapier, little good it would do him, but she continued in her softspokeness.
"Hmm...rude of you, but then again, it's only what I deserve. You may try to forcefully see me removed if you wish, but atleast allow to me rest. It takes a lot out of me.."
She didn't mention what at all, there was no need to concern them about such private details. Again, her eyes went to Ingio, and then she started to laugh.
"If your mustache was a little thinner, I would have mistaken you for someone else, sir."
With a nod, she moved herself away from the rest, as she had promised to leave them alone, in exchange for her own relaxation. There was a staff in her hand, she clutched it firmly, if not possessively, and as she sat up near the bow, she laid it across her lap.

Aaron had suggested they return to the deck of the ship as Grayson entered the library and quickly departed up the stairs. Grayson gave a soft sigh and shortly after a sharp tilt of the ship followed by more violent rocking slammed him into a bookshelf. Pushing books off himself he stood back up, noticing the ship no longer swayed as it did before. Screams and frantic footsteps could be heard from the deck and Grayson decided to heed Aaron's advice and head up top.
The moment he peeked his head out of the doorway to the deck, he found himself tumbling forward out of awe. A gigantic winged beast he had heard of only in stories now hovered over the ship. As quickly as he noticed it, however, it had transformed into a woman and landed on the deck. Grayson fumbled to get up as he ran over to the woman, wide eyed and amazed. After reaching her, he threw questions at the woman at such a fast pace that it would easily make him difficult to understand.
"Such a marvel, you are! I must know, what are you? How did you turn into that thing? Can I do that as well? Can anyone transform into a giant beast like that?"

OoC: Rayl/Lyar/Inigo, you used Lyar's account to post as Inigo...
BiC: Jade was sitting on his chair still when the boat shook violently, so he was able to keep his balance by holding on to both the table and the chair at the same time. The shaking had aroused him from his earlier daydream about the book though, and he decided that instead of continuing to fantasise about the book, he had better check out what had happened. Even more so because there was suddenly a commotion upstairs.
When Jade reached the deck, he saw a woman wearing red and white robes with large white wings folded behind her. Jade felt like he was still in his daydreams when he realised that he was not, mainly because of the smell of the vomit arising from various places on the deck.
Curiosity aroused, Jade fearlessly walked towards the woman... no... the manakete who walked over to a corner to have her "rest".
Then, Jade spoke up, "Hi! Are you a manakete? I believe I've read about them before! So, can you transform into a dragon at will? How does your Dragonstone look like? Heheh! I read all this from a book titled, 'Manaketes Abound' by Archsage Athos. In chapter 7, page 163, he states that most manaketes in the world now live in Arcadia. So, do you? But wait, the book says that perhaps manaketes don't exist at all. But they do right? Or perhaps he was trying to hide your existence. How many of you are there right now? Are...", and the stream of questions went on from Jade non-stop.

Wyatt shot a smile back at Aaron. "Oh man, you wouldn't believe the adventures I've had since the forest. Did everyone else make it out okayyyy?!" His tone changed drastically when he noticed the rather...large addition clawing around the boat. He instinctively reached for his maul, and then she took a human-like form. His eyes shot open, this was another familiar face, and he moved between Indigo and Saffra.
"Hold it! Wait!" He said, though the gesture was pointless. Indigo likely couldn't hurt her with that toothpick. "I think...that this particular dragon saved my life once." He said, eying her as if to get a closer look.
"Ma'am? Have you been in Laus recently?"

Gabriel had been in the captain's room all this time. He had adapted quickly to the rocking of the boat and had been sorting out details and explaining the situation to the captain himself. The rocking had picked up at some point, but not enough for either of them to fall.
"For the last time, you'll get the rest of the gold once we get to B-" he was stopped short by one last, sudden shook. While the captain had managed to grab onto his desk, Gabriel found that his nose wasn't as sturdy as he thought it was. It wasn't broken, but it would be bleeding for a short while. It took him almost ten minutes to get out to the deck, as the hit had messed up his senses. The captain was already outside by the time he took his first step onto the deck.
The day was clear, and the sea wasn't really any worse than it was when they set out. "Wh-what happened?" Gabriel asked to no one in particular, his voice somewhat distorted. He took a look around. Vomit, apples rolling on the floor, bottles of both water and what he could only guess was alcohol broken and lying all over the way. He wasn't sure, but he could swear he had seen that red-head before...that hammer! That damned hammer had almost cost his life! Before Gabriel could even get close to Wyatt, the young man had already made his way towards the front of the ship. The fall had made him far more disoriented that he'd be willing to admit.

Saffra's yellow eyes seemed to grow wide with the assault of the man with the impressive hair. After the first few rambled off questions, Saffra just continued sitting where she was, turning the staff over in her hands. She appeared to be tuning him out, yet she was actually paying attention. When Grayson reached an appropriate stopping point, Saffra then looked up, with a gentle sigh an warmed him with a smile.
She was about to answer him, but her eyes met that of a boy's, and she knew what to expect, and only lowered her gaze quickly, and softly chuckled. She should have expected this, she was rather ignorant to her own being. She was mythic in their eyes probably. She really should have been more...discreet...
"Now now now, lets get this cleared up before you two lose your breath. Now, for you, young sir." Saffra mentioned towards Grayson, "First off...I am what this young man has called me as. Second, well, he explained that as well.." Saffra's gaze for the child narrowed a bit. He had a little more information than she felt comfortable with. A Dragonstone was a very personal item for her, and those in her village felt the same. "I am able to transform into that form, because that is what I am. No one else other than my kind, to my knowledge, can do such things. Please though, mind your manners...I do not enjoy being considered a 'beast' as you say."
She didn't add that at all with anger in her voice. It was a pleasant, yet concerned mentioning from her. Most things could be solved with a gentle touch than with a heavy hand. Turning now to Jade, Saffra used her staff to pick herself up. Wings flexing a bit behind her, stretching a little so not to grow used to being kept in a single area.
"Hold. Hold...I know nothing about this book of yours...but...well..."
Saffra felt a touch uncomfortable. Really. Where did he get that book?
"I am a Manaketes. Though I haven't been referred to as one in some time. I simply go by Saffra. Really, I don't know how to answer anymore than that. A lot of us have never met before. I do not come from this 'Arcadia.' I come from the Western Isles, a small, humble town on one of them."
Ah. Looking over the two males, Wyatt addressed her, and she just chuckled, nodding in greeting to him.
"I'm not sure about recently, but I have been there not too long ago, when I was with...ah! Speak of Elders!"
She rose a hand and waved to Gabriel as he came up. He was more interested in Wyatt but that was understandable. They had known eachother previously.
"Guess he'll be attended to then.." Saffra spoke to herself now, quietly, though Grayson and Jade would hear her.
"By the way, what is both of your names. You have mine."
