Asri headed to the back alley, she found its location after asking to a woman in grocery store. Her top priority was to get the permit quickly, she couldn't bribe all the guards in this town, right? This city was strange, that what Asri were thinking. Weapon permit? What the hell was that?
Soon, she arrived in the back alley. This place looked really different with the other side where the rich peoples lived, scary men were everywhere. Those men looked at her as she walked deeper into the alley. She was used to it because she had a same life with them, living in the shade of a glorious city. Her life in Lycia was full with crimes, golds, and blood. In Pherae she was kinda famous for her dirty tricks and sharp mouth.
"You there." Asri called out to two men who were playing cards, they used barrels as chair and table "Do you know where I can find weapon permit?" She asked as she approached them. Those men looked at each other, then they seemed like discussing something. Whatever it was, Asri knew she wouldn't get the information easily, it was always like that in her life.
"Hehe...You wanna know?" One man stood then leaned to the wall. "I know, but I forget where. Maybe you could do something to make me remember, woman?" He licked his lips in a disgusting manner. The other man just laughed and stared at Asri.
"I knew it would happen..." Asri sighed.

Asri offered five gold coins to the men, she thought it would we enough to buy the information. But she was wrong, they laughed when they saw the gold coins in her palm, then the man who sat on the barrel said, "Make it ten." Asri noticed their eyes grew wider and their breath became faster, they seemed excited. "Greedy bastards..." She muttered under her breath as she slipped her hand into a small bag in her waist. The thief had left most of the treasury in her room in the inn, she would be a good target if she carried them here.
"Here..." She said. But when the man was about to take the coins from her hand, Asri pulled her hand. "Not so fast." They grumbled and grew impatient, they were whispering for a few seconds before the taller man turned to Asri. "Alright, there is a weapon shop in the south side of the town which provides weapon permit, more expensive but easier and faster. You won't miss it, the shop is full with blue color." The man chuckled, then he stretched his hand and opened his palm. Asri nodded and handed the coins.
"Yeah! Let go, pals! We can buy ales with this money." They seemed happy enough, they were busy discussing what they would buy and didn't notice that Asri pulled out her sword, it was too late for them to stop her. Asri used this chance to stab the tall guy from behind, pierced his heart with one strong thrust. Surprised, the other man tried to pull his sword, but Asri was faster, she swept his legs with a low kick. The man fell with his chest against the ground, the thief hopped onto his back, pinning him to the ground. "You made a mistake when you tried to bargain with me." She smirked as she put her right arm around his neck and her left hand on his forehead. The man's life ended with a crack sound.
Asri took back the coins and started to walk, leaving two bodies on the ground.

"So? Is this the one?" Asri arrived in front of an old building, the weapon shop. They were right, everything about this shop could be described by one word, BLUE. The thief wondered who painted this shop?
Asri entered the shop and looked at the wares. At least this shop had a lot weapons, and some could be considered as a creative made. She was glad the weapons weren't blue, it would match the wall and floor but she would get irritated, not because she hated blue color but because she couldn't stand this hilarious all-blue shop. Walking toward the cashier, she saw a woman around her age was writing something behind the desk.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't see you, miss. Can I help you?" The woman saw Asri from the corner of her eyes and quickly hid the paper then greeted her with a smile. Asri couldn't guess what she was writing. A love letter? Or something illegal? She just shrugged and leaned on the desk. "Do you see it?" she said as she threw her sword into the desk, the sword spun for a few times before the woman stopped it. "I don't want to buy weapon because I already have one. What I wanted is something else..."
The woman nodded and gestured to a door behind her. Asri understood, she took her sword back and made his way to the wooden door. "Feels like old times," she muttered.

Asri was descending stairs. She could see another door in the end of the stairs. This place was in underground, below the weapon shop. She was used to this kind of situation, in Lycia, she visited a place like this everyday. Of course, it wasn't a place where normal citizens would go. The thief had a dark life in Lycia, she was one of dangerous criminals there. Killing and stealing were parts of her everyday life.
Asri finally arrived in front of the door, she examined the door for a while, the wood looked old, this place probably had been below the shop for years. "I want to know how they kept this place secret from the guards in this city. It probably was bribing," she thought. Yes, no matter how strict the rule was or how dicipline the soldiers were, there was always them who could be bribed. The guard in the gate was a good example.
She opened the door slowly, inside was a room, rather small compared to the shop. It was full with papers, cupboards, and briefcases. Then she spotted an old man sitting in the corner, he didn't seem to realize that he got a guest. Kinda annoyed, Asri walked toward him and stopped before his desk. "I believe you are the one who makes the unofficial weapon permit, right? If yes, get one ready for me." The man looked up at her, he seemed tired. "Ah yes, not just weapon permits, I can make and duplicate all documents made by the government."
Asri frowned when she heard his statement. "Are you serious? Then it will be a great help. This city seems to have annoying leader who made ridiculous rule," she said. For Asri, all rules were ridiculous and annoying, she never followed rules made by other. Asri crossed her arms and asked, "How much?" The question was direct, she wanted to solve this matter quickly.
Actually, she wasn't sure why she were trying to help those two. Would she get reward for her action? She could have leave them when they got arrested.

Asri left the shop and its "secret" shop with a sour look. That man put an unbelievable price for his paperwork. It wasn't worth the risk she had to take for staying in this city for long to save those two. Now, she wouldn't be bothered about them anymore, the thief had decided to leave the city. Those two men should find a way out by themselves. "Huh, I hope they are going to be executed. Especially that stupid boy," Asri thought. "He gave me much troubles. What were he thinking?"
The thief left the city easily without anyone who stupid enough to bother about weapon permit and such things to stop her. Seriously, why people needed weapon permits to enter the city. She never heard a weird rule like this.
