OoC: Just to say this this isn't a solo thread.
Ic: Selibas rode Lightning at the head of the Aurumiaf. In their day of travel together Selibas had grained into the minds of the people that theirtribe was a thing of the past. They were not Aurumiaf, they were now Sacaen. Only Sacaens, no tribe.
Selibas rode Lightning at the head of the Sacans. They were nearing the Sumis, so he sounded the command to slow, by saying In Time, three times. Once was Full speed, and twice was march. Selibas saw many of the Sumis pick up their swords and start alarming others. Which was when Selibas dug his heels into Lightning's sides. Selibas raised his right hand, and grinned when he made out Dale pointing a bow at him, his left eye closed so that he could see straight down his arrows path. He grinned and lowered his bow as he saw his cousin. Selibas dismounted and right as he got off is horse and was surrounded by a mob of Sacaens. Then a gruff voice that Selibas knew all too well, sounded. "Move, I have to kill him!" Selibas laughed as the crowd parted and Chlane walked through Punching Selibas in the shoulder then hugging him.

Selibas had a rough dream that night. The Sumis had relunctantly accepted becoming one with the Aurumiaf. Selibas had split the warriors into groups of ten, 2 Sumis 8 Aurumiaf. There were seven groups, with two that were considered "special warriors" lead by Dale, and Lamifans friend Temuge. There were very few warriors in their prime here, which made Selibas sad. He had set aside Chlane, Trace, and two Aurumiaf Warriors to teach boys now turning old enough to be warriors. Chlane showed his deeply bellied skill when he taught the boys to fight in a style tha was not his at all, but strongly resembled the Myrmidon Selibas had fought in that bandits cave back in Bern.
Once everything was set in order, Selibas found a tree that always seemed to be present, tied Lightning to it, then went to sleep. He had a horrible dream. A white wolf was the smallest of his kind. He gathered all the wolves in his forest, he fought off a giant squad of eagles with his wolfpack, then moved on to a mountain, he led the wolves through caves, and fought Wyverns unprovoked, each time they found a nest, he seemed to be looking for one lizard-bird in particular. Eventually he found it. A large one, it killed almost all of the Wolves, until the small Wolf killed it from behind. The Wolf sat down to lick its wounds. That's when Selibas saw the eyes. They were the same as the eyes of the wolf who had saved him years ago, but they looked sad.
Selibas sat up, was the wolf him? Surely he couldn't lead Sacae to that?

Selibas was saddling Lightning for a longer trip. The horse shifted, unused to being saddled. This was the first time he had need of tieing his supplies to a saddle. He had his three swords at his side ready to make his way wherever the wind took him when a voice in the dark sounded, "The last time you rode off on that thing, you were leaving to establish yourself. I'm guessing you weren't finished"
Selibas said, "Tell the families I left to fight a dragon, there was a call for heroes and you didn't make the cut." They both laughed. Then Selibas said, "I'm not a strong enough leader, and they're not one people either. I can't lead Sacae, I know that, but I can set someone else on that path. But I'm not strong enough now." Chlane patted lightly on Selibas' chest, being tall enough to do so even with the boy on the horse, then said, "I'll pass the message, but the Sumis swore you an oath, they'll never serve one other than you." Selibas nodded in the darkness and rode off saying, "One day old Lion, I'll come back and beat you."
Chlane had a smile the next morning when Trace asked where he was, "The Little Wolf, has left to become the man Sacae needs him to be."
