Ok... Hi guys I'm new here, my name is Treysin. My friends normally call me Trey. I guess it's a nickname.
Name: Treysin Gallows
Class: Mage --> Sage
Affinity: Light
Hair Color: Golden Blond, moppy like hair that comes down to about his shoulders, preferring to keep his hair long he gets annual or biannual trims.
Eye Color: Hazle
Age: 18
Appearance: A tall trainee at 6 feet. While he isn't considered ugly, he has seen better times. Because he has a few scars on his forehead and body. He weights only 160 lbs generally he is described as underweight. He can be described as frail and weak, but he actually is normal muscle mass for his age. His slender build makes it easy for him to get in and out of tight areas like crevasses. While he isn’t exactly strongly built he has a vast pool of knowledge with magic and is often seen with a book.
Clothes: Treysin wears brown boots, as well as a black pair of pants. He wears a dark red shirt that has been wrinkled, and torn in several places that have been patched sorely. Above that is a dark blue cloak given to him by his father. While it is old and patched in several places, yet he still wears it.
Born in: Badon, Lycia
Story: Treysin was born into a poor family that struggled to survive. His father was also a mage that was retired from it as he aged. Soon he forgot entirely about it, but remembered when Treysin said he'd wanted to go into learning magic as a young kid. Constantly nagging his father, who always said that he was busy, never got any true experience from him.
As he was growing up Treysin was picked on for being poor, though he never really let it bother him, his mother and father always told him to keep positive, and so he did. Until one day he was forced into a fight. He wasn’t doing anything wrong the other kids just attacked him without warning. Treysin defended himself fairly well until his opponent pulled a small knife on him giving him his scar on his forehead. The wound was not grievous, but still deep enough to scar.
Soon after being nursed back to health, Treysin decide it was time to learn magic on his own. Seeing as how his father would not teach him, he became more studious and focused on this then anything else in his life. When he turned 16 he left for the capital to study Anima magic in more depth. He tried to write and visit his family whenever he could but the studying would always come first. His last letter would be the last one his mother would see. After learning about her death Treysin returned home to see his father as a broken man. Sure he understood that the only woman in his life had died, and yes he felt upset, but he knew that he had to suck it up.
Upon his return he continued to study in the arts, still containing no actual experience in the magic arts. One day Treysin was scuffling around town going to his normal spot where he relaxed: a stream. The stream there was a small trip from the town so often times it was abandoned. Once he reached there he sat down on a rock like normal and began to read. Soon being too involved in his book he failed to realize the man that was approaching him. “You seem to be very interested in that book sir.” The man said placing his hand on his shoulder, “May I ask what you are reading?”
Treysin now realizing the man flew back in precaution, into the shallow of the stream splashing him and the man as the book landed on his head. “W-who are you?” Treysin asked throwing up his hands in defense, “If you’re here to rob me I have nothing to take.”
The man simply sighed and helped him out of the water before speaking, “I’m not here to rob you, and I just wanted to know what you were doing that is all.” Looking at the book he continued, “You seem to be studying magic. Have you any experience?”
Treysin sat there for a moment, what he asked was confusing to him. A complete stranger was asking him if he knew magic. He responded with a simple shake of his head. After that the man returned his book to Treysin, and turned away. “I’m willing to teach you some if you wish. You could become my student, you know.”
Treysin sat there befuddled; he didn’t know how to respond to that kind of question. “I… Don’t know…” He finally answered as the man walked away, along with any chance he had to learn magic, “Wait. I want to learn magic… Let me come with you!” And there he began to chase after the cloaked man.
Afterwards Treysin began to train under his new master in his magic arts. He learned the basics of it, and spent time to try and perfect it. Nearly killing himself several time in the process.
