Name: Aella Ishtari
Class: Cleric
Hair Color: Prussian Blue
Eye Color: Cadmium Green
Age: 23
Appearance: She is 5’6”. She has a thin, almost unhealthily so, but toned body. Her hands are quite rough. Her face is thin, as well, but always seems to have a smile plastered on it. Her skin is lightly tanned from a large amount of time spent in forests and traveling. Dirt smudges are an ever-present pest. She usually keeps her hair down but puts it in a ponytail when she is treating a patient.
Clothes: Aella has the typical white clerical robes which are almost always covered with stains from her explorations for medicinal herbs. She has one shirt sleeved and one long sleeved, each of which she accessorizes stylishly with different colored sashes. Currently, her favorite sash is a burnt orange masterpiece. She also loves chokers and armbands. She finds them stunning additions to her wardrobe without interfering with her work. She normally wears hiking boots.
Personality: Aella is extremely dedicated to her work, even to her own detriment. Whether she is helping a patient or trying to concoct a new serum, she will forgo eating or sleeping until success has been achieved. She becomes extremely serious whenever healing is involved. Outside her practice, she is quite bubbly. Finding new herbs for medicine is a hobby of hers, leading to many escapades into strange places and digging through a lot of dirt which invariably ends up on her robe and face. She has a strong desire to help everyone, even those who would do her harm. Fortunately, in most those instances, she ends up doing worse damage in the end. When she isn’t working, her voracious appetite must be sated. Despite terrible medicine-making abilities, she is a capable cook, especially in the stew department. She also sleeps a lot in her down time. She has been known to sleepwalk.
Born in: Etruria
Story: Aella grew up in a monastery. It was the only life she knew. She had many Fathers and Mothers and Brothers and Sisters. They were her family. Life was good. It was an order devoted to the healing arts. They covered everything from staves to acupuncture. Aella’s favorite was the chiropractic disciplines. Even from a young age, she was able to learn the information extremely well. She was something of a prodigy. Unfortunately, her application was terrible. She had a habit of dislocating bones in chiropractitioning or accidently piercing arteries during acupuncture. Several of her medicines actually made people sick. There was even one incident of a heal staff blowing up in her face. Despite all these setbacks, Aella was determined to help. She loved her work and simply worked harder to do better. Little by little, her efforts became less harmful and more helpful. During this time, she continued to learn more healing techniques though she wasn’t able to use them. By the time she was 20, she had learned everything the monastery had to offer her. She still needed practicing but the other healers were getting tired of fixing her victims. In order to develop herself further, the head Father decided it was best to send Aella on a pilgrimage to learn more and help people on her travels. She just wasn’t allowed to tell people where she came from. Excited for the opportunities, Aella was not put off by her leader’s obvious shame in her. She has been traveling the world for the past three years, learning all she can and trying to hurt as few people as possible.
