After a few days of Travel. Lisa and Victor reached to the Village of Wyvern's Claw. Many travelers and merchants warned them not to go into the town, saying it was haunted by the past villagers. Not taking their advice, they came to the town hoping to see some sort of life. But there wasn't any. It seemed that the villagers had up and left or just simply disappeared. A few of the buildings were falling apart due to the weathering and elements. There was twelve home like buildings, a school which was runned down, an old smithing shop, a merchant vendor, and an old tavern which had a sign on one hendge that said, "The Wyvern's Pub." With a symbol of a Wyvern's foot on it. Darkness was spreading across the land as Victor went out hunting for food. Lisa was walking around the dead town, looking for a place that they could harbor down. Most of the homes were up a hill away from the center of town. A shiver went through her like a winter chill had pass through her body. It was an erie place.
Finally finding an average size home that was made for a family size of four, she allowed Victor to have the master bedroom while she took a smaller room. Lisa lit a fire in the fireplace to warm the place up. As it was warming up, she would go through some of the things inside them home. Finding papers, she decided to sit down and read them. It was the personal journal of the home owner.
'Fall harvest, day 8.
There was rumors that a group of mages were passing through the town looking for someone or something. No one really took mine of what. But it was strange that mages were here. I came across the group when I went to the pub to unwhine myself after a long day in the fields and forest. They weren't all just simple good going mages, one was what looked to be something more. This person was a female and she carried a staff with a human skull on the top of it. I had a bad feeling when I saw it and decided to skip the pub tonight. What are they here for and who is this female that leads them?
Fall Harvest, day 10.
My son Jeorge was talking to one of the mages. He was trying to find out about the Arcane School. But the mage simply had a blank expression only asking him, "Where is your grave yard?" An odd question to ask a 7 year old boy. I'm starting to get worried about the town's safety since we lost two hunters and a guard yesterday night. They just seemed to have, the best way for me to explain is Vanish in thin air. No traces of them, no tracks, Nothing! How much do you want to bet that the female magic user has something to do with it? I'll write more later. have to go to the Town meeting tonight to talk about what is going on.
Fall Harvest, day 15.
More villagers are going missing, and so is my wife and son. I don't know where they are or how they are doing. I just hope they are far away from this village. We hear strange sounds coming from the woods where teh cemetary is at. The village guards have been locking the gates when the sun goes down so no one can get in or out without them knowing. '
She kept reading til she saw that the journal just ends without a reason why. The last page said.
' Our town Alchemist looked over the bodies that were found outside the walls and had strange markings looking to be runes. But he wasn't able to translate them, that a dark magic wielder would be able to read them.'
Lisa was starting to get worried that they came to a town of death and that it was waiting for more victims to swallow. Her eyes looked up from the papers towards the door way when she heard something moving outside. Dropping the papers, she stood up with lance in hand and went outside to see what was making the sounds. Victor wasn't yet back from his hunting which was starting to worry her.

Lisa had a tight grip to the Iron lance. She walked around the building trying to see if there were any tracks, but of course wasn't any to speak of. So she went back inside and grabbed an old Lantern that had a half stick of a candle. Taking a small twig, she put the one end into the fire until it lit. Then she lit the candle and made her way to the village center. She was hoping that she would run into Victor down there. As she walked, she had the bad feeling that Something was watching her from the distance. Instead of walking, she ran down the hill. Looking at the buildings, no lights. Victor wasn't yet back from the hunt. 'How long has it been? 3? no, 4 hours?' She went into the Vendor's shop. Cob web's covered everything that was inside the store.
The light brightened the store greatly. She was ablet o see everything inside it. On the back shelf as she four bottles that weren't broken. THey were Vulnerary, so she grabbed two of them and placed them in a sack that she had picked up along the way to carry a few things with her. Her eyes saw a box. So she opened it and saw that their was money in it. Dust had covered them and filled the air as soon she opened the box. Cough a bit, she walked back out to catch her breath. *Snap, crunch* Her coughing stopped as her head popped up like a deer hearing danger near by. Her eyes scanned the darkness, but couldn't see anything even with the aid of the Light in her hand. 'When he gets back, I'm telling him we are leaving.' Running back towards the house, she got into the building that she took refuge earlier and slammed the door shut. She slid the dinning room table over towards the only door there was to get in. The fire began to die down and darkness slowly crept into it like the shadow of death. Her heart was pounding inside her chest. Her back was against the wall next to the fire place, she felt somewhat safe next to the flames. She quickly fed it more of the logs which was inside.
Curling up in a corner, her eyes began to fall heavy. Trying to fight it, but she lost the battle in the end. She fell into a deep slumber. The next morning came, the warmth of the sun warmed her face. Lisa slowly woke up and saw a disturbing site. The door that she had the table blocking it was wide open and the table was back in it's original postion. Fear swept over her as she sat there looking at the open door still. "Who...Who was able to open that door without waking me?" Standing up, she walked back outside. No footprints, no hand marks or even claws at that matter on the door. This place, this village was to creepy to be in. She grabbed her things and quickly started to make her way to the village and towards the gates when she heard somethin that made her stop in her tracks. The sound was someone laughing behind her. Slowly turning around, she saw a female standing infront of the pub and in that persons hand was a staff with a human skull on it.
"Your a...." The female nodded her head and finished lisa's sentence, " Necormancer hahaha" This person didn't even look over 28 years of age. Backing up slowly, she saw some creatures walking out of the pub. It looked like people, the village people. But they had a blank expression on their faces. A sharp pain went through her arm and when she looked down, she saw two arrows that were not in the best condition were sticking out of her arm. Looking back up, she saw two archers aiming their bows. "What do you want?" The female laughed again and then answered, "To watch the world Burn" Seeing the Necromancer's arms lift, she saw a fireball coming at her. She wasn't fast enough to dodge, her chest arm got heavily scroched. The red was now black from the attack. A few soldiers crept their way towards her who was now on the ground from the force of the attack. She quickly stood up and defended herself. 'Man I wish Buto and Victor were here!' As she faught back, the necro kept firing fireballs at her. Using the enemy as shields, she advanced forward towards the Female enemy.
"You got a nice spirit to you young female of Bern, but you will die today and be my personal slave." That sickened her, so she ran her lance through the guards torso and ran it towards the magic user. Arrows hit the now lifeless body as she gotten closer and closer towards her mark. Then even more magic hit the body til the point that their was nothing left. Her iron lance went into the necromancer's body hearing a horrible hissing sound. The dark magic user used fire again and pushed Lisa back with her lance now slid right out of the body. Lisa was starting to get banged up badly. If she kept getting hit like this she might as well just die here and now. So she decided to swallow her pride and ran out of the town, but not before taking an arrow to her left thigh.
An hour and a half trip later,
Lisa limped her way into a small Village. People were busy with their everyday life. Their eyes looked upon Lisa as she managed her way into the village. She would say a some what question before collapsing to the ground, "Where is...." most of the people of the village stayed away from her not knowing what to do since she had multiple arrows sticking out of her body and her armor was hot. Without knowing, Lisa had stumbled into Littlerock. Laying on her side, she was out cold with blood slowly coming out of her wounds.

Orcleous had wondered his way back to Bern. With his armor hidden under thick robes and his face hidden from view. Orcleaous was sure he would not be discovered by Lord Wales agents, and besides he was not even on the side of Bern Wales operated on. Even so the young novice took special care to hide his face from view and not to draw to much attention.
Littlerock it was a small little town that held no connetion to lord Wale, nor his organization. It was a well enough place that seemed, well how would you put it, eerily peaceful. Bern was a cesspool of violence and this little town seemed to be far from it. Though that was a good thing. Though Orcleous would wager that this peace would not last long especially since the village did not have walls.
“Hay look it is a injured woman”, shouted a man catching Orcleous attention. He knew the peace would not last long, but this was rather fast. The young novice moved through the crowd to see what was going on.
“Excuse me”, a voice rang over all the others. Orcleous turned to see a gorgeous woman with two bright orange braids rushed through the crowd with a healing staff in hand. Immediately the young novice was smitten as he stared at her rushing to treat the woman’s wounds.
“These are bad”, spoke the woman as she pulled out the arrows and immediately closed the wounds with her staff. “She is going to need some rest and more medical attention”, spoke the woman. “Can someone give me a hand”, she spoke.
“I can”, spoke Orcleous as he walked out of the crowd. The villagers stared at the young man with queer looks. He was covered from head to toe in robes and carried a sword at his side. He was more likely to kill the poor woman than to help her I their eyes, but the orange hair maiden did not seem to mind.
“Here grab her legs”, spoke the maiden as she lifted the woman by her torso. To orcleous surprise she lifted her above her head with ease. She was very strong despite her delicate look. The woman had her carry the injured lady outside of town and to a small house near the outskirts. The house was made completely of stone that included the room. “Hold on a second”, spoke the woman as he popped open the door and set the maiden down on a flat sofa. She raised her healing staff once more and ordered Orcleous to bring some water out of the kitchen.
By the time orcleous got back the woman had seemed to revive the maiden.

Lisa laid there on the sofa. Sore then anything. When she came through, she tried to get up to fast and a sudden wave of dizziness hit her. The only thing she could get out was. "...Hot...armor, off." She tried to get the straps off, but to everyone's around her, she was trying to claw it off like an injured animal. "Need to...hide...Necro..." Lisa then fell back onto the sofa past out from exhation. The armor was still hot to most to touch, but the straps to her chest plates were intact and were just meerly warm. Laying there, she began to have a nightmare of the necromance finding her and making her into a servant to be killed again. Through out the time of sleep, she tossed in turn, mummering in her sleep. "Necro....finds....death..." What she was saying wasn't making much sense. The arrows that came were old and all but rotted. The tips of the arrows were spirraled and rusted iron. An Old style used back in the days of Old.
A man came to the door with the things that Lisa had dropped on the ground. Her bag that had the two Vulnerary and her Iron lance that had what looked to be black sludge on the tip and shaft of it. "These are the young woman's things that she dropped. Thought you'd want it here when she came through."

“Here you go Ms. Yashi”, spooke the man as he handed her Lisa things. “Thank you”, she spoke as she set the stuff down on the floor near Lisa. “We need to get that armor off”, spoke Yashi as she stared at the maiden. She looked at Orcleous for a moment and then gave him an order. Take her stuff and put I in that basket. I need you to take it to the kitchen and place it under the corner table.”
“Umm, right”, spoke Orcleous a bit confused. He gathered her things and rushed to the kitchen. As soon as he was out of sight Yashi began to move to get the armor off the maiden. She had already seen this type of armor before and knew full well how to remove it. She pressed on despite the heat of the steel and removed it in time for Orcleous to return. Her fingertips were in pain, but at the moment she did not care.
“What is she talking about”, asked Orcleous as he lowered the cowl that covered his face.
“Sounds like magic”, spoke Yashi as she soaked a rag in the water Orcleous brought earlier and pressed it against the maiden’s forehead. “Mr…”, spoke Yashi as she fished for Orcleous name.
“Oh it is Orleous “ ,spoke the novice.
“Well orcelous”, spoke Yashi. “Go into the kitched and bring me back the plants in the small pot near the window. It should be useful in defusing the poison in her veins. The arrows seemed to have been rusted. “Immediately Orcelous rushed off into the kitchen and brought back the plant. The maiden grinded it down in a cup and pressed the medicine inside of the reopening wounds.

Lisa laid there as the planet did it's work. As they waited, they would hear her speaking in her sleep and moving every now and the as if she was in a nightmare that she could not dare wake herself up. "Victor....run...necro....mancer....Wyvern's Claw." It was still fuzzy to everyone's ears for they didn't know what she had seen at the dead village.
It was starting to become nightfall as Lisa began to stur from her nightmarish state. Slowly sitting up, she placed a hand over her chest as she heaved for a few moments then grabbed an empty bowl near her and threw up some bile. THe poison was beginning to come out, and in the worse way for her. She was throwing it all up into the bowl. When she finally stopped and was breathing heavily, her eyes would scan the room she was in. When she saw Butorega's sister, she jumped up and all but landed on the ground hard again saying, "Please, don't hurt me anymore." She moved towards a corner. To her, she thought that she saw the necromancer again to whom that was going to finish her off. Her body shot out pain through out her body for it was to sore to move yet. Placing a hand on a wall, she tried to get a grip of reality.

“Calm down”, spoke Yashi. “You are in no danger here. Orcleous please get her things”, spoke the orange hair maiden. During the time Lisa was unconscious Yashi and the young boy had familiarized themselves.
“You were found unconscious at the road leading out of town”, spoke Yashi as she picked up the bowl of throw up. “Orcleous there”, spoke Yashi as the young novice came back into the room, “help me carry you here.”
“What up”, spoke the masked man as he handed Lisa her things. The young boy then removed the mask covering his face and allowed her to see he was a normal human just with darker skin.

She slowly reached for her belongings and when they were in her hands, she would bow to them both. She'd lean against the wall now a bit dizzy, but not to the point of blacking out. "H-how long have I been out? And if it isn't any trouble, can I have a cup of water miss...?" She didn't know her name yet, so she felt a bit odd for just saying Miss. Lisa would examine Orcleous, a masked figure carrying a sword on side. Covered all the way to no one could see who he is unless he did what he just did which was removing the mask to reveil himself.
"I'm sorry if I caused....any trouble. I was in Wyvern's Claw Village, a good distance from here with my Companion Victor. We lost our home and traveled all the way to see if he had any relatives living in the village. When we got there, it was completely empty. Not even animals were living there. Victor went out hunting for food since we haven't eaten in two days. I was left alone in the village, the next day...Some....Thing attacked me..." She paused for a moment as she would lower her face down and look at the floor.

“It is Yashi”, spoke the orange hair maiden as she handed her a glass of water, “Yashi of Littlerock. She brought a bowl of apples along as well in case Lisa was hungry. “It has been a couple of hours I think”, spoke Yashi. “However I do not know the time between you leaving Wyvern’s claw and arriving here. From you wounds though. I can safely assume it was not that long.
“Wyvern claw is not far from here”, spoke Orcleous. “If what you said is true than whatever that attacked you might come to Little rock.”
“I doubt it”, spoke Yashi. “This village has a reputation for bloodshed. Not many people come here looking for a fight.”
“Bloodshed”, spoke Orcleous with a bit of surpise.

Thanking Yashi for the glass and bowl, the glass titled back and was now empty as she downed it rather fast. Grabbing an apple, she began to chomp away as the two began to talk. But the sound of munching stopped as she would slowly looked at Orcleous. Putting the bowl of fruit and the apple down, she picked up her lance and pointed the tip at him saying, "You see this black sludge on it? This came out of a guy and a woman that I impaled. The woman was a Necromancer, but it seems she is content in staying there for some reason since it seems to me that she turned the whole village into undead servants of hers. I was lucky enough to get out of there in time....I hope Victor got out of there as well. Wait, Yashi is it? What was it I was told to say to you?....ugh....your hair...Looks like gum balls? I think"
She paused again, then looked at her lance and would say as well. "That, did not come from a living person, I can tell you that for sure. And the scourch marks was from one fireball attack of hers."

“Her hair looks like gum balls”, spoke Orcleous with surprise. “What a weird thing to say.” The young novice turned around to see the orange hair maiden eyes wide open. She seemed a bit shock at what the woman had said.
“Have you met Buto”, spoke Yashi as she walked up to Lisa. Orcleous had no idea of what was going on so instead he focused on the sludge that Lisa had produced at the end of her spear. Orcleous in truth had no idea of what it was. He was just a simple farm boy who been through a few things. “One thing for sure was that this was magic.”
“Umm who is Buto”, spoke Orcleous trying to join back in to the main conversation.
“OH that is my brother”, spoke Yashi. “That line was something he would say to me when we were younger.”

Lisa would nod her head and would explain a bit, "I met him a couple of times. Each time he saved me life from death's hand. Once in Dragon's Peak, My home town and then the second time back in Ilia at Hawk's Ridge where the place i was staying was attacked by a group of Mercs." Her eyes would go back to the Novice and would say, "Yeah, magic is a dangerous thing when your facing up against it...not including the undead that she spews around her." She'd shiver a little and then take the apple she was eating and finished it. By the time the sun was fully down, the bowl was empty of Apples. Lisa would look over it and felt bad for eating all the apples. So she took out one of the bottle of Vulnerary and placed it on the table as payment for eating so much of Yashi's food. Looking at her armor, she would contemplate on putting it back on incase she decided to go back to the village of the Damned and look for Victor.
Lisa looked out the window and watched as people were starting to get ready to go to slumber in their beds. No one expected much to happen now since the sun was down. Lisa remembered the journal that she read. Everything happened at night.

“I am glad to hear it”, spoke Yashi. “I was worried about my brother. The last time I heard about him I did not here pleasant things. Maybe they were wrong.”
Orcleous leaned against the wall and began to look out the window. “Your brother is nice and good, but I think we need to focus on the problem at hand. I may not be the strongest, nor the smartest of men, but allowing a necromancer to roost is not a good idea. Who knows how long will it be before he decided to come to your village.”
“Yes”, spoke Yashi I think you might be right. Ms. Lisa is there any chance you can lead me back to Wyvern’s Claw. If you got out successfully then that means you went through a gap in the necromancers undead security. “

Her eyes would widen as she hears the two talking. "The only reason why I was able to get out of there alive was because I was already near the only gate to the village. The journal I was reading was stating that the village was over 100 in population. I killed three there, so...*sigh*." They would watch as lisa would pace back and forth thinking as she was trying to figure out what they could do. Then the thought of Victor came to mind. She would stop and look at the two and nod her head saying. "Sure, I'll take you back there. I'm not promising you that i can protect you Yashi. But hopefully we will be able to meet up with Victor."
She would gear up, but before she put on her chest plate, she'd take her lower part of her shirt and would rub off the scourch on her armor. After a bit, it came off the best it could. Strapping and adjusting, she was finally ready. Taking her bag over her shoulder and her lance in hand, she would wait at the front door until everyone was ready to move out.

“Protect me”, spoke Yashi with a bit of surprise. “I think it would be more the other way around”, spoke the maiden. “From what I can tell you both are green when it comes to fighting.” Orcleous gave a low grunt as he realized that Yashi was able to read his skill level. “Let me just get my old tome from the closet. I have not practiced light magic in about two years so I may be rusty.”
“You’re a bishop”, spoke Orcleous with some surprise. “The maiden did not seem the church going type, but then again you don’t have to be a saint to know magic. The young man put back on his mask and tossed lisa her vulnerary. You are probably going to need that.” Yashi walked out the door wearing what looked like a swordmaster robe. Instead of a blade she had a large pocket holding a tome and her healing staff attached to her back.
“Ok I just need to do this”, spoke the maiden as she left a note on the table. “Then I am ready to go.”
