“I think I understand”, spoke Orcleous. “Making plans so you don’t have to pay with blood, but Yashi. It is not just that she is overbearing, but rather the fact she reminds me of my mother. Normally that would be a good thing, but for me it just gets under my skin. I will however take your advice. I should be a bit more grateful”, spoke orcleous as he walked beside Lisa.
As they arrived at the gate Victor made a comment about the door. “I doubt that they were in that much of a rush”, spoke Orcleous. “I think it is more like they are inviting us in. No better place to set an ambush than in your own lair,”
“For once I am going to have to agree with you”, spoke Yashi. “This is obviously a trap. However the necromancer is in there, and if we do not enter she could easily escape and spread to a new place. So victor lead the way”, spoke Yashi.

Nodding his head, Victor would lift up his small shield to cover his chest as his sword hung low in his grip. As he walked into the tomb, holes in the ceiling made it possible to see inside. It was a church like building as he could see of it inside. Benchs lined up in rows going towards an altar in the rear of the building. Just behind the Altar was what was left of a door which was smashed to pieces leaving only the hinges. 'That must be the staircase leading down into the basement.' The room was massive, it had large standning pillars that held the roof up in rows as well on either side. Pointing towards Lisa, he'd point her to his left side as Orcleous would take the right side. "Yashi, you stay behind me."
Victor slowly walked forward. His eyes scanned the area for anything off. So far, nothing. Not even movement was heard from ahead. This wasn't sitting well for him, but soon enough action would happen to each of the advancing units. Lisa was passing the fourth Pillar when all of a sudden, something bursted up from the floor and tried to get a hold of her. Everyone would hear her scream for a moment and then a splatter sound. His eyes quickly looked over towards her and saw her lance going through the head of the creature. Raising her thumb up to show that she was ok. Two more creatures bursted out of the floor. One in front of Victor and one infront of Orcleous. Victor's undead creature was a bit bigger then the ones that the young one's had to face. This one had more muscle mass to it meaning it's going to hit alot more harder. His sword glided through the air hitting it hard in it's left arm. Looking at it, it would slash at him with it's right hand. The claws hit his shield leaving deep scrapes into the steel and pushing him back a bit making his sword pop out of the wound. It's left arm now hung there now able to move. It advanced towards them as he would begin his assault to make sure that it doesn't reach Yashi.

The creature’s sudden appearance caught Orcleous off guard. When it attacked the boy did not even have his guard up. The beast slashed through orcleous outer robes and scrapped up against the crimson under underneath.
“What in the world is that thing”, spoke Orcleous as he swung his sword with one arm. The beast jumped backwards and attacked again with hits claws. This time Orcleous was able to block with his sword. Even still the pressure from the attack made him buckle a bit. Finally Orcleous was able to side step the monster and let its attack follow through. The beast leaned over as the novice was able to get in a strike.
“Die monster”, he shouted as he stabbed forward with his sword. The blow seemed to have little effect. The monster just simply attacked again. Its assault was relentless. Orcleous was beginning to thing the beast was unkillable. Then he thought of the beast that had attacked Lisa. As the monster struck he rolled dodging its attack. He then turned around and stabbed forward with his blade hoping to hit the beast head. The blow barely grazed the beast. The monster rushed in and struck the boy again in the chest this time sending him back a few feet straight into the pillar.
As he slammed into the stone pillar he dropped his sword. He beast did not waste a moment in its assault. The monster pounced on him bearing its weight on the boy. Orcleous now desperate pressed against the beast with his legs preventing it from taking a chomp out of him. Orcleous stretched out his hand and grabbed his sword from the floor. With all his strength he grabbed the blade and stabbed it into the skull of the beast. The monster twitched for a moment and suddenly stopped moving. Orclous pushed the beast off him and stood back up. “Who else want some”, asked the novice trying to regain his dignity.

The massive undead being came charging into Victor. His sword slashed into the torso of the creature leaving a hole in it. Taking his foot, he pressed it against the undead who was still trying to get him and Yashi and pushed with all the muscles in his legs. The creature went back a few feet as it stumbled. When it stopped, it quickly regained what it lost but it would meet it's fate. The Mercenary would point his sword at it, jumped into the air doing a flip and struck the creature's massive head with his sword. The head split in half making it fall to the ground skidding up to Yashi's feet. Landing on the ground, victor would see that everyone had killed their creatures. Standing up fully, he'd stretch a bit. Looking over to his right, he'd hear the novice speaking up a bit. But before Victor could say anything, sounds started to come from the holes in the ground and from the door in the back. Three more creatures crawled up, lesser things than the bigger one that he was forced to kill and a few more came out of the door. it was now 8 to 4 and they were against the odds.
"Get in close everyone, we attack them head on as a group. Yashi, if you got any tricks up your sleeve's now would be a good time to do it." A voice came bellowing out of the doorway infront of them. "Now your in my Lair. Your souls will be devoured and your bodies added to my collection of puppets to command. Prepare to die young foul beings of Bern!" The creatures made there march towards them.

As lisa was moving into a line formation, she heard the voice again which was the Necromancer's speaking to them all this time. Lifting her lance, she prepared for combat once again. All the creatures that have come into the upper level of the building started to come in and she would lunge her lance forward impaling a head shot. But the creature behind it push it closer to her making it harder for her to swing it off. Doing what victor did, she'd kick the dead corpse off her lance making it slide off and making it fall backwards onto the others that marched towards them. It bought them a little bit of time for them to either Plan or strike, or something that she would rather do, Run. But it was not time for running, it was time to kill. Since Lisa and Yashi had the upper hand on these creatures of being able to strike from a distance before they reached them, she used the length of her Lance to her advantage.
Trying her best, she'd aim for the heads of any creature that came towards her or even swung it at the legs of them to try and slow the march down. It worked for a bit since now there was a gap of space between their line of Defence and the undead march. Victor would be swinging and hacking limbs off these fowl disgusting things. Arms flew across the chapel like room and heads rolled in pools of blood that has collected onto the floor below them.

“Well now that you mention it Victor”, spoke Yashi. “I think I have an idea.” Yashi held her tome in her left hand and held her staff in the air with her right. The pages of the book began to flip rapidly as a ball of light appeared above the staff. “Behold you undead fiends. Behold the power of the sun”, shouted the maiden as a bright light radiated from the staff. The creatures began to wail in pain as the brilliant dawn filled the room. “This would be a good time to finish them off”, spoke Yashi while struggling to hold the spell. “I spread the magic around so it won’t be able to outright slay them, but you should be able to attack with ease now.”
Without wasting another moment Orcleous rushed in. It was like the maiden had said. The zombies were practically paralyzed by the magic. Their senses were being overwhelmed by the light. Even with the zombies being paralyzed they were still hard to take down. It took Orcleous three slices to get through the neck of one of the monsters, and on a second his sword got stuck in its skull.

Lisa and Victor both charged in weapons striking. A gap was somewhat made as the two would strike anything that was not alive. Blood was spraying everywhere and the light from outside was slowly going down. She'd rush over to Orcleous who was having troubles getting his sword out of a creatures skull, She'd put the lance in her left hand and used her right hand to pull the sword up and out of the skull cavity. Both of them fell backwards since the floor was now beyond soaken wet with blood. Standing back up, she'd help the novice up and would charge back into the fight stabbing a creature in the head. Pulling it out, her eyes would see the necromancer lifting up a tome of her own. "You defile this place with your stench of light....now, let the darkness show you how it's really done!" A Bolt of lighting shot out of the doorway and struck the staff's head making the crystal explode from the emense power hitting it.
As fast as it exploded, the light went away. Their advantage was now over. But the enemy forces was now down alot. Two more came crawling out of the darkness as the Necromancer would enter the now make shift arena. "You all will die tonight..."

“It is already dawn”, shouted Orcleous as he charged in. The novice jumped and rolled on the ground to cover the distance between him and one of the beasts. Now with a lower angle Orcleous popped up and stabbed his sword through what was the monsters eye hole. The beast stopped and fell to the ground. “Hay this time it did not get stuck”, spoke Orcleous as he turned to see another zombie attack him. The beast claws slammed into his chest knocking him back.
“Orcleous”, spoke Yashi as she attempted to blast the monster with her tome. The zombie rolled out of the way, a surprisingly quick move for the lumbering beast. Yashi blasted again, but once more it moved. “Stay still and die like a good undead”, spoke the maiden as Orcleous began to stir again.

Lisa was still stabbing and swinging. But one of the few creatures that was still left managed to get past everyone and pinned her against the wall. Her lance not able to strike because she was using it to hold the creature back from biting her throat. As it got closer to her throat, she yelled out. "VICTOR!"
Hearing his name, he turned his head and saw Lisa about to become an undead meal. Quickly weaving in and out of everyone, he'd take his sword and slide it between Lisa and It. Brining the creature close to him, he'd lift it up and slam it behind him. A Loud crunch was heard as the head of the zombie couldn't take the weight of the being on it and caved right in. Standing back up, he'd see The necromancer now in the middle of the room with the two undead. These undead were much different, in their hands were books. His eyes widened as they lifted their hands. "Everyone duck!" Victor grabbed a hold of Lisa as three balls of fire went flying. One at Victor and Lisa, one at Orcleous and one at Yashi.

“Oh crap”, shouted Orcleous as he rolled to his right side. The novice was able to avoid the fire ball by a very thin margin. The young novice heart pounded like crazy as he took in his surroundings. Suddenly he heard a chilling scream as he looked up to see Yashi leaning against the wall. He clothing was a bit charred and her tone lay on the ground.
She was hit thought Orcleous. This was bad. That attack seemed to have done some pretty devastating damage. He was not sure if Yashi could talk another blow. Orcleous looked up to see the undead mage preparing to fire another shot. “Oh no you don’t”, shouted Orcleous a he rushed in toward the mage. The second mage fired another shot toward Orcleous. Right before the attack hit him Orcleous spent around dodging the attack and moving into a horizontal swing attack. His sword found its way into the first zombies hand cutting into its finger and its tome.
“Got you”, spoke Orcleous, but his victory was short lived. The first undead mage kicked him onto the ground and planted its foot on his head. The young novice struggled to get free, but the zombie seemed to have control The sound of pages flipping filled Orcleous mind as he heard the zombie prepare to blast him from behind. Then there was a flash. The weight of the zombie suddenly disappeared. Orcleous quickly rolled over to see Yashi holding her tone and a pile of ash covering his lower body.

The novice would feel a cold hand on the side of his neck as he would see a Very pale hand on it. If he turned, he would see the Necromancer standing before him about to use her very own Tome which was completely black. As a glow was forming in her hand, Victor would make the mad dash since he was close by and tackle their one foe. When he collided with her, her hand went up and shot out a Flux blast into the ceiling above a hole in which the two would fall in through. Part of the ceiling caved in leaving the novice, the bishop and the recruit on top of the next battle field that is to unravel rather soon. Lisa charged towards the back door and would see that everything from the door way on was pitch black. Their could be an enemy right in front of her and she wouldn't be able to see them.

“Curses she blasted my staff”, spoke Yashi realizing that that technique could be useful in this situation.
“I could go in and”, spoke Orcleous before he was interrupted by Yashi.
“And get yourself killed”, spoke the maiden. “Allow me”, she spoke as she walked in front of Lisa. “I am going to fire a spell the light should illuminate the room. Take notice were all the enemies are at. I will repeat this till you two reach the other side and then follow myself.”
“Fine”, spoke Orcleous as he stared into the dark. Yashi counted to three and then sent a blast of light straight to the other side of the room.

The light filled up the room as Lisa ran down the staircase towards the bottom. She only was able to get a quick glimpse of four undead halfway across the room since it was the same size as the room above. Holding her lance tight, she would listen carefully. In the distance, she could hear two sets of breathing, then something heavily dragging closer to the group as they were now in a small formation at the bottom of the stair case by now.
Lifting up her lance, she'd have the tip extended out away from her using it as a detection. If something touches it, she would know that the enemy was right infront of them. Waiting for the second blast to go off, the lance would move lightly towards the left. Orcleous and Yashi both would hear her pull her lance back and thrusting forward. The sound of the Iron lance piercing soft flesh was heard.

“Alright your turn”, spoke yashi as she looked at Orcleous. She shot out another burst of light and Orcleous rushed in. The first thing he did was rush toward Lisa. He saw her lance pirceing an undead, but did not know get enough time to tell were. The young Novice took aim at the creatures neck. If it was dead oh well, but if it was alive then he could take off the head. Orcleous swung with all his might and heard the sound his blade cutting through flesh. The flesh was soft.
“At least I did not hit Lisa”, spoke Orcleous to himself.

When Orclous was done thinking, he would hear her scream in pain. When Yashi did the flash of light, he would see that he did hit her. His blade caught her across the right side of her face. Clentching her teeth, she took out the one bottle that she had and splashed the Vulenrary across the wound. When it healed, they would hear movement again, but this time. It was right next to them. Lisa had been tackled at this point in time by one of the undead that was down in the basement while Orcleous would see a claw coming at him. Lisa would try and fight the creature off of herself as she held the creature up a bit with the aid of her lance.
The light from the doorway up above the stairs had now disappeared into the darkness of the night. The other two would hear the snapping of jaws as lisa grunted to try and get it off and again, she would scream as the sound of flesh being bitten is heard. "You bloody monster, just....DIE!" She'd take her lance and shoved it through it's skull cavity making the tip of her lance stick through it and into the wall behind them. Ripping it back out and pushing the creature off, she'd place a hand over the bite mark as the wound bled heavily. The vulnerary was now dumped onto the wound and the bottle laid in her hand empty. Taking the glass bottle, she'd heav it into the darkness hearing it shatter against a wall. Shuffling was heard going towards it.
