What was your oringinal goal and what happened to it?

What I mean by this is when you made you character what were your goals for said character.Also I would like to here what ended up happening and why.

I'll start.

Valin (The "cursed" knight)

Story: I wanted him to have this tragic past which left a deep mental scar that leads him to be both always down on himself and self sacrificing. I wanted his story to be about a man who overcomes his past and see's himself and his actions as truely noble. My plan was to have him join the Illian military 1) Its tradtion of female soldiers as well as having Pegasus knight makes a good parallel to the character in both class and personality. and 2) I like the concept of a merc bases econ. I never intended to explore that fact that hes really a noble.

Personality: I hate to say it but like most of my characters Valin started as a tragic hero. Its what I write its what I roleplay. That said my goal was to eventually make him an up beat guy how is still shy but easy to get along with. I made him sensitive about his red eye because its a truely human response to shun diffidence and in a midevil setting like this someone like him would have been blamed for all the misfortune in the area. I planned that he would never truely over come this but more except that he really cant get rid of it.

What has happened:
Valin story has really become the story of Butoregas rival. This probably because he's the only guy that rp with me (Hint Hint Nug Nug...Some else please rp with me) I don't mind the story really because its lead to a story of how one response to a harsh background. Valin came out of it becoming a marter for "Good" more or less where he questions vigilance and warfare to solve problem and fight to overturn it.(I.E. Every Gundam Plot.) He remains a good guy but he still is the only one who can't see that. What Valin Has discovered is that Buto has had simalure hardships that led him to be a freedom fighter who in his mind is fighting for "Good". The key difference between the men seems to be the drive. Valin's is sorrow Buto's is anger. The side characters in Valins story seem to propechuate the grimness in the characters life and he as of yet had a break from it.

What I thing will Happen
A)Valin and Buto can come to an understanding an work together to Kill Alexander(End Boss for Buto) and end his warmongering. Hopefully Valin finds peace of mind and starts a family (Already has an adopted son which is Buto's Alt......Need more PC's to play with ._.)

Or

B)The two have a final fight and the survivor Kills Alexander(Sorry Buto but after meeting him He's became a Nemesis to Valin.)

Klain (Crazied Hero)

Story: Klain The Hydra is my main dark elf Character in a book I'm writing for Black Liberty(Warhammer novel department). Both characters are good guys deep down the problem is their completely of their rocker. What I want to happen it that he becames a kind of roaming anti-hero(I say Anti-hero because he live for the next fight.)

What I think will happen:
He's going to become somes hero and/or someones Villan

[Butorega]

I will go next then.

Butorega

When I first created Butorega I wanted a heartless brigand that traveled around elibi burning villages and looting gold. I wanted a character that was known as a legendary slaughter. He was suppose to be the scourge of the universe.
What happened: Yunneth and Aurek

I always had Butorega with a code. So when he met Yunneth and Aurek his code made him help them, as they were on the same team. However along the way he twisted as I made him more of a human like character. Still I attempted to salvage it and made him burn a village, but then I ran into valin. Then Butorega became more a rival towards Valin than a ruthless brigand. The more I rp with valin the more I began to dig into Butorega. The character kind of took a shape of his own. His reason for the way he is. The reason for his actions and ideals started to get pulled back and revealed a lot sooner than I had planned.

Another change was with Yashi. At first I was planning on making Yashi show up as a swordmaster and cause Buto some trouble. You know family and all. I was going to have her try to bring him back home. However I ended up using Yashi early with Aurek and Yunneth and set yashi down as a bishop. From there Yashi became my tag along character for all of my alts. She is like the staple for one of my characters. Yashi will show up in there story at some point and will have a definite meaning in their story. The only person who has not had this treatment was Euphemious, and in truth he is a bit of a dead character.

Euphemious

I created Euphemious to try and explore another side of Rp. Euphemious and his two cousins were quite interesting at first, but then I made Shugo. Shugo kind of sucked in all Euphemious shine and made me kind of push him into the dark

Shugo

Where do I begin with Shugo. Shugo was originally going to be my character I build up for my own personal satisfaction. I wanted a character that has been in war since he was ten and would be the lord of battle/ walhart Jr. In the end I ended up pretty much doing every crappy thing I could to a ten year old and making him react to it. However Shugo is still on the same path I planned for him. Just a little bumps here, but he is still good. His killing instinct is finally coming out. It showed itself when I made him kill bones.

Orcleous


Orcleous was created because I wanted a swordsman. His past was just made on a fly really. Being a farm boy was just a perk. Now Orcleous gets interesting when I was hanging around the chat. Jya spoke about an assassin Npc I had on my topic with valin. She lamented that there were not enough assassins. Then somehow some way this led to the cult of the Green Wraith started. Orcleous became my addition to that idea. He is a young man who is striving to be an assassin, or more like in love with the skill and danger of the work. He attempts to sneak around, but fails because he is green, and fights with no real idea of how he is suppose to. Orcleous is learning how to sneak and how to kill. Once he gets things down he will be a opponent to fear.
