Grace thought Oichi as she looked at Oleg. She was not sure if he spoke the name or if she was imagining it. It had been some time since her mother had died , but she still grieved her. That grief on many occasions made her hear her mother’s voice, or thought she saw her face. Still it was worth a ask thought the maiden as she opened her mouth to speak. The poison still had some grip on her. She still could not speak which made things very frustrating for her.
As Oleg addressed the crowd their ire turned toward the hooded man. The man however remained calm throughout the whole ordeal. “I have no idea what you are talking about”, spoke the man as he looked Oleg in the eyes. “I have been coming to this bar for the past three weeks and at the same time each day. That was long before the fair maiden Oichi showed up. If me and one of the assailants just so happen to enter at the same time it was by chance. “
“Fredrick speaks true”, spoke an elderly man. His name was Yorgan, and he was a well respected patron. He had been coming to the inn for years and had built up quite the reputation. Now however he mostly just watch people come and go. The crowded settled down and the hooded man was in the clear. Still however he kept an eye on Oleg.

Oleg shook his head, sighing. "I would still suggest that none except me enter this room until Oichi is well. If anyone has anything against that, I can ofcourse come with you... But I did repel the potential assasin." Oleg folded his arms, waiting for the answer of the group.

There was a sense of agreement throughout the whole group. No one complained about Oleg guarding the room. Many of the patrons returned to what they were doing, but many kept an eye on Fredrick who returned to his drinks. Calm as a whistle Fredrick finished off his drinks and walked out the door. A couple of more zealous patrons followed him out, but the man simply kept a smile on his face. Not long latter those men were found dead in an ally.
Oichi began to recover from the poison. First came back her motor functions and then came her voice. It seems that the men choose the poison for that very effect. Too keep their subject quiet over all else. As her voice returned she turned towards Oleg. “Thank you”, spoke the maiden as she moved her fingers. Her range of motion was back to normal and she was no longer feeling sluggish.

Oleg sat down back to the chair, ripping the dagger off as he then smiled towards Oichi. "It's no problem. I have seen types like that before.. I'm sure you will be fine as long as you leave this rat arse of a town as soon as you can. Big fanbases are never great for women. Especially for young ones such as you." Oleg nodded, patting Oichi's shoulder a bit. His face formed into a big, wide, fatherly smile, his wrinkles slightly disappearing and his eyes gleaming. "Heh.. Besides, I'm sure your voice will get you far, yet you look rather young to be on your own. Where are your parents?"

“My parents”, spoke Oichi as a sad expression crossed her face. She stared at the bed for a moment before she began to talk. “Well my mother… she died. It was recent. You may not know it but there was a plague and a whole lot of mess going on in Mark’s Town not long ago. My mother, she, she was one of the victims. She died from the plague while giving me the only medicine that could save her.” Tears started to run down Oichi eyes as she told the tale. The story reopened her old wounds and the emotion from the first time came rushing back to her.
“My father”, she spoke while trying to stop the tears. “He was never around. I never knew him, nor did I know his name. In truth I never cared too. As long as I had mama”, spoke Oichi as the tears came back again. “I thought I… I thought I…”, the maiden broke down and started to cry. A few nosy patrons walked by and stared in the room, their eyes casted judgmental glares at Oleg.

Oleg chose to ignore the patrons, simply looking at Oichi as he thought. She looked like Grace. Grace did indeed live at Mark's town, yet Oleg thought she would have moved from the apocalypse wishing town. Oleg slowly decided to bite into the heart of the matter. "Can you tell me the name of your mother? If it does not hurt too much?" Oleg kept a calm voice, hoping to try and keep her from crying too much, he did not wish to be kicked out of the tavern.

“Mother”, spoke Oichi as she got control of her tears. She had pulled herself back together a bit, but still she felt the tears ready to pour out. “Well my mother’s name was Grace”, spoke Oichi. She wondered why Oleg was asking about her mother. Maybe he knew her from the time she was a mercenary. “She uses to be a mercenary back in her youth. Did you know her”, spoke Oichi as she felt the tears coming back forward. Talking about her mother seemed to bring back the pain.

Oleg looked at Oichi for a few moments, his mind grinding on the possibilities, but all led to the same conclusion. Why did she not move from Mark's town, why did she not tell him, send him a letter... He then looked around awkwardly, coughing as he was trying to discover a way on how to tell this without it being awkward. "Well... It just happens to be that... Me and your mother... Ehm... Let us say I was a part of making you... Eh... I was close to your mother... Eh..." Oleg looked around awkwardly. Nope, no way to rescue this. He looked to Oichi, waiting for her reaction.

“What”, spoke Oichi as the awkward level rose? It took her a minute to really realize what Oleg was saying. The maiden reached for her bag which was on a nearby desk and ruffled through it. She pulled out an old pendent and a iron sword. “Do you know these items”, she spoke as she waited for a response.

Oleg looked to the pendant and the sword, slowly nodding. "Yes, yes... I gave the sword as something she could use for her job. The pendant was for.. Good luck and selling it if she had hard times." Oleg nodded, scratching the back of his head.

Tear started to fall from her eyes again. She looked at Oleg and then whispered to herself. “Mama I found papa.” Still however she had cried enough. She whipped the tears from her eyes and stared at the aged man. “My mother’s last wish was for me to find you”, she spoke. “I personally never cared, but for her sake I thought I would look for you. Well I am Oichi your daughter”, she spoke.

"My name is Oleg." Oleg did not have much ideas on what he should have said. He had no idea about her existence, and he already had one son who had gotten it rough and had probably even died! What would he do with a daughter? "Well... I will let you sleep... Do you need anything? I'll be leaving tomorrow.* Oleg coughed awkwardly. He had no idea on what to do with her. Take her with him? Leave her be? Try to forget meeting her?

“No I am fine”, spoke the maiden as she pulled herself out of the bed. “Whatever they used on me has run its course. I will probably leave today. I don’t want those people coming back. In truth I have no idea what they wanted from me, or me for.” Oichi was a bit shaken up right now. She just found her father, which was a good thing, but she also just narrowly escaped being kidnapped. She wanted to leave now, but her father was here. Still she could always track him down again later, and getting out of the town was her first objective.

"Well... I'll get going. I got a long journey ahead." Oleg nodded, standing up as he smiled towards Oichi for a moment, walking outside as he looked to the rainy sky. "I guess you got a sister." He chuckled for a long, long time, as he then started walking out of the town. Life has a strange way to connect people.

Oichi said her good byes to everyone in the Inn and prepared to leave. Unknown to her she was being shadowed by a man. The maiden got on her horse and rode off. The man instead of getting on a stead and following pulled out a mirror and waved allowing the light to reflect off and alert some people else were. The assailants had not yet given up, but decided to choose another spot to attack.
