"Shut UP!" Ryu hissed, drawing his sword and advancing menacingly. "I won't tolerate you ruining this... I haven't had a hot meal in WEEKS now."
Ryu spun the blade, and pointed the blade straight at the girl's neck, an expression of pure and complete malice on his face.
"One more yell, and I will kill you. Hey, pal, watch the door. I'll 'deal' with this one," he snarled.

Rogus nodded, sending a sympthetic look to the girl. He'd take hold of a sturdy chair next to the unconscious body of the neophyte, placing it under the Seminary's door handle at an angle to to hold it for a while. As an extra precaution he'd grab a candle, ready to light the wooden door on fire to discourage a quick response.
"You see scamp? You might get hurt." His brow furrowed at her annoyed.

Ingrid's heart was racing. She was about to die as no one seemed to show up to her rescue. She sighed, accepting the fact that she was going to fight the thief to the death, her own being the most likely.
She left a last sigh out while closing her eyes, trying to remember the little sword-play her father hat taught her, first thinking of every possible approach the thief would take. Throwing her sword at her? covering with the doorway and capturing the arm. Charging with downward strike? shortening distance beyond the sword's effective range and blow to the stomach with the bottom of her sword. Upward attack? Circling around and cutting behind the leg. Horizontal slash? backstep with a thrust, thrusting? side step and retreat with wide slash.
She had her options, and hopping she wouldn't mess it up she yelled again.- Help! it's a robbery! call the guards!

"DAMMIT!" Ryuzaki exploded, "That's IT."
Ryu advanced and brought his sword up, hissing. He quickly feinted left and then broke right, slipping behind the girl, whose stance was absolutely terrible, and brought the blade up and touched its point to the back of her neck, gently and softly.
"Don't move, missy. I hate having to hurt my own kind. But you're an exceptional kind of stupid. Now, not only will you have brought more worry and angst to our job, but you've also signed your own grave. I'd advise you to pretend you had a nightmare, so that when the acolytes that are undoubtedly coming arrive, I can dissuade their fears. Maybe if you SHUT UP, I'll give you some coin.
Do as I say. Remember... I gave you bread. You owe me, you little piece of moral-bound trash. I would have thought you not to be a Sacaean... Betraying your own kin? You dishonorable fiend, I ought to kill you where you stand... Be grateful for your life.
Pal! Check on those Treasury guards, and stow that sleeping girl in case we get company. We have to calm this down before it's too late. And I sure as hell aren't abandoning such a lucrative venture..."
Ryuzaki pressed his swordpoint a bit harder, his face contorted in rage, and his eyes flashing like torch flames.
"Are we clear, girl?"

Rogus nodded, sending a sympthetic look to the girl. He'd see the book-worm acolyte waking his compatriot gently, murmuring a few words to him. He'd know the two would provide a significant obstacle if the conflict wasn't resolved quickly.
"Hurry, those two are coming." He'd say with venom in his voice, "I'd prefer not to meet my end here...". He'd look toward the candle, seeing that the heist would now be thoroughly ruined, and that he was out of chairs to block the doors, he'd wonder if now would be the best time to make an escape.
Rogus drew his lockpick once again, and closed the door quickly. Taking his most prized possession aside from his cloak, he'd thrust the lockpick into the key-hole, and lock the mechanism, afterward breaking the pick off within the mecchanism to thoroughly provide a barricade. The treasure was now un-obtainable, but at least they could make away with their lives.

This is it...- That was the last thought she had before pulling what probably was her only chance of survival for another instant. She dropped to the floor, letting the gravity take her as far from the sword as possible while turning around face up and unsheathed her sword, firmly thrusting upwards aiming to the thief's belly and hoping that he would impale himself while trying to catch up her.- Waah!- she would let out a desperate battle cry as soon as her back landed.

Just as the move was made, the door to the seminary cracked, light spewing from the cracks for a moment before dimming. The cracks enlarged again, as more light magic was used against it. Likewise, the two acolytes had given up their attempts to open the door from the inside, and the door exploded sending a blast of wooden shrapnel into the chamber.
Rogus, being the closest took a large splinter to the muscle of his right arm. The blast easily would halt any further action from the two fighting, or trying to.
"GAH!" He screamed in pain. His sword arm being punctured shallowly by the wooden projectile. His instincts wouldn't allow him to dwell on it. The man dashed forward, sending a kick toward ingrid's sword as he passed, making sure it was well placed enough to knock it from her hand. In a blur he'd grab Ryuzaki's shoulder roughly and attempted to pull the man from the doorway, whether he was dragged or not rogus would continue, finding the nearest place to slip into hiding. His vision dazed, yet his mind racing, he'd immediately form a plan of escape.

"Wha-" Ryu managed as he was roughly yanked aside.
Quickly taking stock, he noticed the onslaught of light magic on the doors, and saw that the path to treasure was once again open. He HAD to get some treasure, dammit. As he shrugged Rogus off, he lifted his right hand and flicked his index finger outward twice, signaling "GO." He grabbed a candle-holder and threw it against the seminary door, and threw another at the advancing acolytes from the treasury. As he dodged out the door, he offered one last gift to the girl on the floor:
"You better run, because I'll KILL you next chance I get!"

Ingrid turned around and saw the two thieves making their escape. Somehow she survived harmless what just a second ago was going to be the night of her death. With the help of one of the acolytes she got back up.- I'm sorry.- She said to the man that helped her up.- They tricked me to help them in, so all of this is my fault.- she picked up her sword and sheathed it. Even though the thieves entered because of her it was her that stopped them from stealing anything and thus, it was the better moment for her to run away with her honor clean and her stomach still empty.

Rogus followed his comrade, and fellow thief, leaving the church through the main doors was nearly as good as signing their death warrants. As he ran by the girl, he'd drop the coin purse he had stolen previously that day next to her. He may be honor-less, but she did what he had asked her to do... before she messed everything up.
One acolyte attempted to grab his arm, the injured one, but missed by a hair as he ran through the door. Rogus kept pace with Ryuzaki, but he held his arm tightly to stop the blood, and as anyone could tell its hard to run at full speed when in immense pain. He did, however, manage with much difficulty.

"Hey, Pal, catch!" Ryu said, tossing him a vulnerary.
"Get down, now, he said, and turned right, rolling under the carved bows and arrows and pulling the other thief with him. As the acolytes rushed towards them, Ryuzaki saw the nature of the trap: the 'stone' arrows were really arrows that fired across the narrow corridor. After one acolyte tripped the trap, the arrows whizzed, creating a perfect diversion.
"Quick. There's got to be a door here... C'mon, help me look!" Ryuzaki urged his compatriot, feeling the walls and the floor, looking for any sort of telltale signs.
Meanwhile, the acolytes were charging balls of light magic; fortunately for the thieves, the magic was interfered with by the arrows, rendering the thieves momentarily invincible. However, the trap certainly couldn't continue indefinitely. They'd have to disappear, fast.

Rogus would use the vulnerary provided to him, shuddering at the medicine's rapid effect.
"Yeah, I'm on it..." He'd reply in a detached tone. He'd eye the walls and floors carefully, looking for any sort of device to open a doorway. One of the carved bows caught his eye, its shape and shadow being slightly different from the others. He'd look to his fellow thief, then to the acolytes being slowed by the arrows. They were shouting curses apon the thieves for their dastardly actions, and seemed to be out for blood. This forced Rogus to push the bow carving... and it gave way. The ground shook subtly as a small opening was created in the wall behind them.
"Guess i have a knack for this." He'd laugh, his voice easing up. However it was not the glint of gold that shone through the secret door, but a couple small chests... and an open window about 8 ft. above the ground. In case he had not noticed, Rogus tapped Ryuzaki with haste and enthusiasm. Carefully, but quickly, Rogus entered the chamber, finding to his dismay that the statue was not in the room. However, the small chests un-doubtedly held something important. Before trying to lift one, or even escape, Rogus would first search for any mechanism that could close the door behind them.
"Grab whichever one you can carry!" He'd yell as he took hold of a lever that activated the door's closing mechanism. He'd pull hard, at first refusing to budge, but gave way after an extreme effort. One chest would be metal, ornately decorated, and would be much smaller than the other; a simple wooden chest that looked very sturdy, but much lighter than the metal one. They both had locks on them. Which to choose from would be up to Ryuzaki as Rogus was busy giving them more time to escape.

"Hey, Pal, gimme a hand here. I'll open this metal chest, why don't you take your lockpick and... Damn. Well, no matter. Open that chest any way you can!"
With that, Ryu pulled out his lockpick and bent over the metal chest. Quickly identifying the lock as an uncommon sort, but not beyond his capabilities, he began fiddling with the lock and pick, trying to depress the tumblers. A few times, he got close, but was unable to open the lock. Swearing in anger and feeling the pressure of time, Ryu focused on the lock, and carefully... carefully... There!
Clicking softly, the lid of the gleaming chest popped up a few centimetres, and Ryuzaki flung it back, revealing an old but well-cared for, gold-and-white, ornately decorated book, and a statuette of St. Elimine that glowed with a dull but alluring gleam in the flickering light. His look of worry fading into a broad, victorious grin, Ryu swept his cloak back and secreted the book in a hidden pocket of his shirt, and then stood up, leaving the statuette sitting in the open chest, winking at the other thief.
"Any luck?" he questioned. "Because I found your statuette, it seems."

As Ryuzaki turned, he'd see rogus holding his blade, standing by a recently smashed wooden chest.
"think i got it, mate." He'd grin, his blade would look fairly roughed up but the glint of gold flooded out from the ruined chest. Muffled orders would be heard from behind the secret door. Orders were being given to open the door, it would sound like the bishop's voice.
"Toss me the statuette, and grab what coin you can carry and lets go! If that Bishop gets through, we are done for.

Ryuzaki's face lit up in glee. Moving over to the chest, he snagged the statuette, which was predictably heavy, and handed it to the other thief as he brought out four oddly shaped coin purses from his belt. On closer examination, one would see that they were made from the furry skins of small game. Reaching into the wreckage of the chest, Ryu pulled handfuls, filling one... two... three...
As he began filling the last purse, he heard the voices reach a higher pitch, and heard the hidden door begin to grind open.
"DAMN!" he yelled, hastily filling the last purse and hooking them all back to his belt. In a swift movement, he jumped and drew his sword, stabbing the window and breaking the glass, which shattered outward, opening a portal and letting a draft of cool air in. Unfortunately, as he landed, he knocked over the candle-stand, putting the light out.
"Here, pal," Ryu hissed urgently, moving the ornate chest over to the window and slamming it closed. "Use this as a stool. Once you're out, follow me - I know a shady tavern where we can hide it out. The innkeeper isn't much for the law, and a couple coin will convince him we aren't there, and, once we leave, that we never were there. Come on. Go!"
