Ryuzaki smiled a small smile. He could test the man, and if everything was okay... Well, he could always disappear later if he needed to. There was nothing keeping him, after all, and perhaps, he'd be able to get back at that girl. What a little nuisance she was, and an insult to Sacaeans. The thought made him grimace inwardly.
Addressing the apparent leader, Ryuzaki drew his sword nonchalantly and kept the point in the earth, signaling that he wasn't about to attack.
"All right, I have an easy way to determine your colors," he said. "Take a drink, man in black. Out of my pal's cup. Then, if nothing happens to you... My cloak and blade will join this 'expedition.'

Oleg took Rogus's cup, taking a long sip from in, infact emptying all of it as he then placed it down, swapping it with his own untouched and filled cup, giving that to Rogus as he the took the cup he drank from, refilling it. "There we go."

Ryuzaki searched the man's face for a long moment, analyzing him, and waiting for any sort of reaction. Nothing.
Sighing, he sheathed his sword and stalked over to an empty chair, crouching on his haunches on top of it and wrapping his arms around his knees.
"Fine. I'm in. What's the gig, boss?" he queried.

"Thanks chum!"He'd raise the glass to the others, and take a sip from it, feeling fancy, he'd swing his feet upon the table casually. He liked how this was playing out, besides the girl being there. She had tried to get him killed after all.
He'd look toward the map on the table and speak to Ryuzaki without facing him, a grin firmly planted on hiss face."You know, i'm sure a glass of wine would calm ya' down partner, it does wonders for that high-blood pressure as well." He'd snicker cheekily at his ex-partner's paranoid view.

It was time to start an adventure. Find a way to get stronger, maybe make some allies. This town was quite different from any he had seen before, not that he had seen many. The only places his father had taken him was the tiny town near his father's cabin and various tribes in Sacae. This place had much more to do; Asking around a bit he was directed to the tavern to look for an adventure. At the tavern he was handed a parchment for a group that needed people for an expedition, it seemed quite convenient. Time to check it out.
Arriving at the place shown on the parchment he braced himself, he had no idea what would await him inside. Putting his hands in his pocket he walked into the building. "Is this for the expedition? He asked leaning up against a nearby wall.

Oleg looked to the newcomer, slowly nodding to him as he motioned for him to sit down. "Welcome, welcome... And yes, this is the place. Sit down, and the wine has been tested and proved to not be poisoned." Oleg nodded once more, motioning for all the others to sit down as well.

"Welcome, welcome... And yes, this is the place. Sit down, and the wine has been tested and proved to not be poisoned." A n older man clad in black said. He appeared to be the leader of the group since he as the one to address him.
"hm." With that he took a seat near the girl that appeared to be about the same age as him. Placing his fingers in his mouth he let out a loud whistle signaling for his dog to come in. After the call had ended a strong but majestic dog ran in and sat next to Kyle. "There there" Kyle spoke to the dog as he began to pet it's head.

Ingrid Sighed and then nodded. If Oleg insisted then there was no point in keeping the hard feelings away for the moment.
If it can't be helped i guess i'll cooperate with this thieves, but i'll keep my eyes on you!- She said trying to sound strong, although she knew the thieves would only mock her.

Before Oichi could speak another guest came in and then another and another. It seemed there was a bit of history between a few of these people, but she did not bother to ask. She instead sat quietly watching them and listening to what they were saying. None of them did not seem to bad of people, well except the guy without a shirt. He looked a bit rugged.
"So I think it is safe to say that you three have history", spoke Oichi toward Ingrid.

"Well you see it began as a simple love triangle between my fictional wife and a noble." He snickered, sipping more wine.
"Then the girl decided to wake up from a nap she wass taking, and called an entire monastery of monks to obliterate us with holy light." He'd say simply as if it were a minor event. It wasn't of course, but he had an act to play, hopefully it would end amusingly.
"Then of course, my friend and i outsmarted them, and escaped unscathed. Well, for the most part." He'd chuckle, "I think i may have gotten a bruise from falling from a window."

Oleg bluntly ignored the speakings of the others, leaning forwards as he gently slammed his hands down onto the table. "Gentlemen and ladies, if I could get your attention to the map here?
Oleg pointed his hand onto a small dot near a rather river surrounded area. "I have gained information that in this place, a bandit group known as the Roarz bandit company hid all their loot. Unfortunately for them, they got captured before they even had the chance to use it. After cajoiling and bribing officials, I finally got their map... And this is where you go in. You might ask, "Why would he ask people to help and share when he could go there alone?" Well. Traps, and the common troubles of traveling alone. I need specialists to help me along."
Oleg took a faint sip from his wine as he then continues. "I have a small caravan prepared for this, but the rest is up to us to do on the field."

"That's IT?" Ryuzaki laughed incredulously. "You need a personal army to avoid some traps? By Elimine, this is gonna be a cakewalk... So they dumped it all in one spot and left it for us, huh? That's nice of them. Well, boss, what do you need me to do? Chop some heads? Open some doors? Pop some locks? Whatever, as long as it nets me a little lining for my pockets... Heh, heh, this is gonna be fun."
Arising from his crouch, Ryuzaki jumped off the chair and looked intently at the map.
"Buncha rivers. Well, this'll take some swimming, for sure. Where is the loot? Is it a building, or did they dig a big hole?"
Ryuzaki was fired up... Another chance for loot... Eventually, he'd find it. And once he did, he'd be unstoppable...
Arising from where he was hunched over the map, Ryuzaki looked at all the faces.
"I know the honorless little Sacaean scamp, and my pal over here," he said, patting Gus's shoulder amiably. "But who are you all? You can call me... Near," Ryu said, discreetly flashing Gus the 'play along' thieves' sign.

"I was not finished. The area has a lot of natural life inhabiting it nowadays... And rumors of undead themselves being there. Along with sources of mines, magical wards and some of the bandits staying behind. This needs more work than a nearby tavern whore, you can believe that."
Oleg sat down once more, sipping his wine.

"Undead?" Ryuzaki questioned, resuming his crouch on the chair. "Hold the introductions for now, good folks. Undead? What in Elimine's name is an undead? If you're dead, you're dead, right... Right? What the hell is "UN" dead?"
A note of worry entered his voice as he twirled a strand of hair nervously.
"I don't like things that refuse to die. I really don't. Someone please explain what an undead is..."

"Walking dead. They've been around for some time, and I helped a local order to deal with them once... Main point. Cut their head off and you have everything dealt with." Oleg nodded, finishing his cup in a long sip.
