Ingrid was surprised at the mentioning of "Undead" she had heard many tales related but she never thought it was something possible, then again, chopping a head off doesn't sounds to hard to do with an iron sword.-Ok, i get all that but why would bandits hide their treasure if there are "undead" near the place. It just sounds risky and, well, stupid.

"Undead", spoke Oichi aloud. She was shocked really. She had no idea that her father was getting involved with such dangerous work. "Wait father are you telling me we are going to a place were the dead rise from their graves", asked Oichi.

"Because they weren't originally there. The place was a hideout for the bandits for years. Some say for generations. Undead have been rumoured to be there only for a few months. And yes, yes we are. Risk, reward, better life. Much better than grinding one spot forever, Oichi." Oleg nodded, looking to the map as he stroked his chin.

Carmichal, unlike the others in the room, had not taken a seat at the table. For one, he was not a big wine drinker. He did not care for the drink of fancy nobles, with its delicate flavors and nonsense. Give him a strong ale, however, and he was your man. He also wanted to observe the other people in the room and from what he could tell, there were a few people he would need to keep his eye on. The girl who had met him at the door seemed innocent enough, if not a bit naive, and her master seemed a bit shady, but was honest enough. The other two, an archer and the man's daughter posed no threat to Carmichal, so he passed over them. The two men he had seen outside, however, were trouble. He could tell just by looking at them and seeing the glances they kept making at each other. They knew something that he didn't, and that made Carmichal very uneasy. However, it would be remiss to let them know he suspected anything. Regardless, he was forced to the table when Oleg began to explain the expedition.
Carmichal listened quietly and intently, nodding at key points. The mission seemed an easy one, until he continued on and added the fact that there would be undead in the area. Carmichal snorted, amused by the proposition of being payed to fight the dead. It certainly removed any moral complaints from the job. "The pay better be worth it," Carmichal said, breaking his silence, "We mercs don't usually get hired to fight dead things."

Leaning over to look at the map there seemed to be river everywhere, and now the prospect of undead and traps coming up? This journey wasn't going to be an easy one. Especially with some of the people in the group, there was that loudmouth that just kept blabbering on. Did he ever keep quiet? After getting a look at the map he just leaned back and continued to stroke his dog's fur.

"Oh, the pay will be damned fine. If we get there. If not, you just have to do with me sacrificing my life savings to pay you. But we should make it." Oleg grinned, refilling his glass as he then spoke once more. "Any questions, ideas, or anything trivial besides preparing?"

"Wait a minute father"m spoke Oichi. Not only are we risking out lives, but we are now risking our savings." The young maiden let out a sign. "I pray to the nine heroes that this thing turns out well. I don't want to be living on the street."

"Well... As long as we can kill them, I'm good," Ryu said with a voice full of false confidence. Undead? Hell, that seemed like a big bite to take... Maybe he could run around them. Or hide.
Ryu pulled out a coin, bit it, and flicked it over to Rogus, at the same time getting out of his crouch on the chair and pulling out his sword, examining the blade like an old friend.
"Yeah, I've got a question. When do we start?"

"You mean me. You'll still get a safe place, I got all that covered. It's just me. You'll do fine if this fails. I'm sure of it." Oleg smiled, stroking his daughters hair as he sighed.

"No the both of us", spoke Oichi. A serious expression crossed her face. "I am not going to leave you behind father. I already lost mother and I am not losing another parent." Oichi then turned toward Ryuzaki. "The cloaked man does have a point father. When do we leave?"

"Well. As soon as we get this meeting done. Last time I ask. Any questions? If not, you are free to leave. We'll meet outside the town gates tomorrow." Oleg nodded, waiting for any questions as he wiggled his eyebrows.

Rogus would nod to the name Ryuzaki dropped, replying in a similar fashion.
"Name's Connor." He'd say while the introductions were still going on. Until the mention of risen dead was made, he'd be fairly confident in their odds, despite the fresh blood among them.
"Undead, hmph." He'd huff, he'd not seem very happy. Undead? The thing of stories, and tales once used to keep little boys and girls from acting out, were all too real. He never quite got over the day he heard of their appearance in his home.
"Say," Looking at the map from his precarious position, "Looks like we could take a longer route through those hills in the north west, then loop back around. Probably without much contact with the nasties." He'd swirl his wine within the glass, holding it very particularly, as if he were groomed to do so. If there was a way to bypass undead, he'd find it. There were nearly as many children in this group as there were men, and he had a notion to keep them from meeting the hellish spawn of dark magic.

"Buh-bye, then," Ryuzaki said in a sardonic and dry mock of happiness. "Guess I'll get some rest. Hey, Connor, you wanna tag along? I'm sure Horus could give us a berth for the night..."
Without waiting for a reply, Ryuzaki walked out the door, waving idly at the group and leaning against the outer wall, waiting for Rogus, er, Connor. Absentmindedly, he took out the book he had stolen from the church and started to leaf through it, smelling the pages and mumbling the words.

Oleg rose up from his chair as he stretched his hands, mumbling something about thinking Rogus's idea over later. He then spoke. "I'll leave now. The plan is clear to you, and we will meet outside the town tomorrow. Now... Go on and prepare. We will have a long trip ahead of us."
